Shopping

Spitalfields Market and Brick Lane are a must see on Sunday. It's crowded and brash but beautiful. There are a lot of second hand shops and market stalls as well as independent retailers. Try Beigel Shop on Brick Lane for amazing bagels worth queuing for. Get off at Liverpool Street and walk to Spitalfields Market - from there walk to Brick Lane for a good walk.

Oxford Street is the iconic shopping street in London. It's busy but has all the standard shops as well as some more. It's worth popping into Selfridges which is by Bond Street station (you can get there on the Jubilee line). Selfridges is a beautiful department store.

Sightseeing

Go to Westminster to look at the House of Parliament and Big Ben then cross over the river and walk along the South Bank. You'll pass the London Eye, National Theatre, Globe Theatre and eventually end up by Tate Modern. It's a beautiful walk along the river that takes approximately 40 minutes. Go to the 10th floor of Tate Modern for some STUNNING 360 degree views of London (for free!)
