Holiday rentals with beach access in The Gambia

It was so nice I came back after my work extended me in the country.

Nice and comfortable stay at Alagie's place. The space was clean and just what I needed.

Das Apartment ist einfach super! Von der Größe und Ausstattung her ideal. Der Blick auf Pool und Strand sind gigantisch. Wir konnten uns an den Sonnenuntergängen nicht sattsehen. Fußläufig erreicht man in wenigen Minuten die Restaurants. Wir empfehlen das Apartment uneingeschränkt und kommen sicher wieder.

I enjoyed my stay very much, it never became boring😉 but the reason why i would come back is the people who work there absolute good lads! Cheers

De acco was mooi en groot. Het zwembad is schoon, luxe en werd iedere dag schoon gemaakt door de leukste poolman van Gambia: Sulemai ;) Malin of Fredrik regeerde enorm snel wanneer we vragen hadden en alles werd binnen enkele seconden geregeld. Backary is de taxi chauffeur voor de deur en die stond ons op te wachten bij de luchthaven. Backary is goud! Staat altijd voor je klaar. Een 100% betrouwbare, rustige, bescheiden man, die veel info geeft over Gambia. Als je wilt gaat hij mee als gids. We hebben een zalige tijd gehad met onze twee kinderen (9 en 14). Nul minpunten! We hebben voor Bijilo gekozen, omdat we niet op de strip wilden verblijven, maar met de taxi is het 3 min. Taxi kost niets! Prachtige omgeving aan het strand. Bijilo is daarom voor ons een bijzondere plek. Deze accommodatie krijgt voor ons een dikke 10!

I would definitely recommend staying here. I had a great stay, with a helpful and hoslitable host. Central location, but quiet at night. Everything you need is in the Apartment. Great place for travelers who want to visit The Gambia!

Great place. Better host and manager. Apartment was missing a kettle, but it was promptly fixed. A great experience overall!

I've been traveling with Airbnb for many years but I'm so pleasantly surprised that Ibrahim's has been the best. I loved the location,easy access to everything no need for a taxi but if you like as soon as you walk out taxis are available no issues at all. Ibrahim place is safe with 24 hour security/staff so if your traveling from abroad you will feel safe and at home. Inside of my Airbnb was so spacious modern and clean. If your traveling and interested please don't hesitate to book at Ibrahim's such a great and helpful community. Thank you for a fun fantastic peaceful stay!

Another GREAT stay! My brother Muhammed was awesome! I wish that I could stay longer. usually in these housing situations there's always a glitch 🙄 But not at Muhammed's. I applaud his professionalism and compassion to walk me through the house rules. I will be back!

Virkelig hyggelig og flot indrettet bolig og fredelige omgivelser. Det tager ca. 15-20 min. at gå til stranden, hvor der er et par barer, samt små lokale mini butikker, hvor man kan købe det mest nødvendige. Men det er en god idé at handle større ind inden man kommer til boligen. Værterne kom forbi hver dag for at vande haven og de var altid meget søde og hjælpsomme. Og vi spiste sammen med dem et par gange, som var rigtig hyggeligt:-) Det er klart et sted jeg vil anbefale og jeg vil helt sikkert booke det igen til mit næste ophold:-)

A great stay and real gem of a find! Maria was very communicative and responded promptly to all our requests. The security man was very helpful too. Overall, a clean, modern and spacious find right next to the beach with a great view. Highly recommend!

It has been my 4th visit in the blue house. And i have enjoyed my stay there again. Its a quite place near the Airport . Very comfortable. I'm sure that i will come back.

This place was very affordable, it was great to have own place and shared swimming pool that only I ever used. The power in the area goes out quite often and can leave you without power for few hours each day. It would be good if the security guard or similar maybe sent a text to visitors to make them aware that power is off as I would have stayed out longer if that was the case. No criticism of this as I only thought about this as an idea on my last day. Thanks for the hospitality

Fantastic stay at a fantastic house. Spacious, comfortable and amazing communication from Edriss. Very beautiful and peaceful location, surrounded by 360 degree views of jungle from multiple roof terraces - ideal place to watch the sunrise. Fantastic swimming pool, great facilities, reliable wi-fi, fans and aircon worked a treat, great kitchen and only a short walk to the local beach and bars. Was pefect place to retreat from the heat after our work building a classroom at a local school. The stay was made all the more wonderful by Hatab, the kindest, most gentle, friendly and hardworking caretaker ever! He really went over and beyond to make our stay special and was amazing at helping us with transport, food, local attractions, shopping, cleaning and even doing our washing. He even brought us produce he grew! Any minor challenges we faced or needs we had were immediately addressed by Edriss / Hatab - they did absolutely everything to get things sorted as soon as possible.

Debbie's place is the best Air BnB I've stayed in, in the Gambia. It is right by the water (the Atlantic ocean) with beach access and pools all around. It is a walking distance to many good restaurants and stores. The place is as described, beautiful relaxing environment, clean, home style luxury, and excellent services. Her house keeper (Nancy) and manager (Alieu) were friendly and went above-and-beyond in making sure that we had a good and enjoyable stay. Debbie was very responsive and helpful in offering recommendations for anything we needed. I highly recommend Debbie's place and will be booking again when I visit Gambia.

I thoroughly enjoyed staying in Awa's family compound. Everyone was very welcoming and accommodating. The market was in walking distance to buy food to cook. This spacious and beautifully decorated apartment had all of the essentials for our weeklong stay, plus nice touches such as plenty of mirrors. Also super easy getting transportation from the main road. Will definitely stay again!

Très beau logement, belle decoration et éclairage romantique, surtout autour de la télé. TOUT fonctionne et équipements complet. L'essentiel est déjà disponible, produit vaisselle, éponge, papier toilette, huile, vinaigre sucre café.... Bref pas besoin de faire les courses dans l'immédiat comme dans d'autres logements que nous avons déjà rencontrés. Logement et parking très sécurisé. Gardiens et bureau d'accueil toujours disponible. Bravo pour ce logement où on s'est cru chez nous.

What a beautiful place to stay. The apartment has everything you need to make you comfortable. Bed was comfy plenty of seating, washer was the bees knees. Kitchen was like home. The veranda was wonderful, 2 sunloungers, 2 zero gravity chairs and a table and chairs,so able to follow the sun. Plus the monkeys came to visit. The veranda made our holiday. Kololi sands complex has everything you need to have a wonderful holiday. Pool snack bar, restaurant, some entertainment, sunbeds overlooking infinity pool. Henk and Sheriffo were excellent hosts nothing was to much trouble for them. Excellent Hosts.

Excellent location with a lot of great amenities. Eyvind was incredibly responsive to any questions that I had. I felt right at home!

This was an amazing stay !!

I came to relax and that's just what I did. The balcony had a breathtaking view of the ocean. I was however awakened by the birds each morning a different one almost each time. The beach is within eyesight but further than it appears. In my opinion it's best to drive there especially if it's hot. The security guy was awesome! I think he has lifetime friends in us now. All utensils and supplies are there. My only con would be the water. The electrity had a few issues as well but they worked hard to figure it out. Occasionally the water would be out as well and once we let Joy or security know, it was taken care of. I enjoyed my stay and I appreciate Joy and her crew for their hospitality.
