Phuong Anh is a lovely and responsive host, we were offered cleaning service as we stayed for two whole weeks, also whenever we had any questions they were responded to promptly. The place itself is really clean and for us was perfect for the price we paid. It’s also very easy to get grabs from the street outside, there’s also many very nice cafes and milk tea places that are open late. The only comment I would have if you are a light sleeper consider earplugs, Vietnamese people are very hard working and start work much earlier than perhaps we are used to so you may find it helpful to have them! This is not an issue with the Airbnb but you should consider this in order to adapt to the lifestyle of locals :) I recommend 100% stay here for either a short or long stay!

The panoramic views of Hanoi from the large windows are absolutely stunning, and the cold A/C was a welcome comfort after a day of exploring. I felt completely safe during my stay, and the environment was peaceful and secure. Although it’s located in the tourist area, it still felt quiet and private — a great balance of convenience and calm. The apartment was lovely and in a great location for exploring Hanoi, especially the Old Quarter. The bed was super comfortable, which was a welcome relief after a day of sightseeing. The only minor thing is that the street noise could be a bit loud at night, so light sleepers might want to pack earplugs. We’re not light sleepers and like to stay out late, so the street noise didn’t bother us at all. In fact, being in the Old Quarter gave us a true local experience that we’d never get staying in a hotel. Overall, a fantastic stay!

I highly recommend this place! The tenement house is hidden from the main road, which means that you can rest from the city noise. The apartment was identical to the photos - all the appliances worked and were clean. In addition, there was heating from above in the shower, which made the bath more pleasant. The windows and balcony are on the tenement house opposite, but it's still great that you can look at the prevailing weather conditions. The whole tenement house is also well made, you can use the free washing machine and dryer, there is a place to store your luggage and you can use the general toilet. The host was very responsive to all our questions. We had a temporary problem with WiFi but it was also quickly resolved. In general, the apartment was very clean. The bed was comfortable. We did not get a duvet, only the bedding, which surprised me at first - but the bedding was so nice and comfortable that we slept wonderfully!

Vân was a fantastic host! The flat was spotless, well-equipped, and perfect for our stay. The air conditioning was 10/10, the bed was super comfortable and the balcony was great to soak up the atmosphere of Hanoi’s old quarter. Vân was always quick to respond and shared great nearby food recommendations. She knew the area well and gave us helpful tips on how to spend our time. The location was perfect, with plenty of great cafes and restaurants just a few minutes away. We couldn’t have asked for a better host, definitely recommend for solo travellers or couples wanting an authentic experience in Hanoi. We wish we had stayed for longer!

A great place to stay if you want to experience the streets of Hanoi. Great location, walking distance to many streets like the old quarter and markets. The host was so friendly, accommodating and responsive and left us nice notes every day we were there. It does get noisy at night as it’s right near the street, but otherwise I would stay here again!
