Family-friendly holiday rentals in Tavronitis

Mein Freund und ich waren 5 Tage in der Unterkunft und waren sehr zufrieden mit unserem Aufenthalt. Die Wohnung ist im Erdgeschoss eines schönen modernen Hauses. Die Wohnung war sehr gut ausgestattet, es fehlte an nichts. Hervorzuheben ist die schöne Terrasse mit Whirlpool. Die Lage ist super. Es sind circa 15 Minuten Autofahrt bis zum Zentrum Chanias. Mehrere Strände sind fussläufig zu erreichen. Das Haus selbst ist ruhig gelegen. Es bietet einen guten Ausgangspunkt, um Kreta zu erkunden. Katerina und ihr Mann sind tolle Gastgeber. Bei Ankunft erwartete uns ein frischer griechischer Salat, Orangen und Wein. Wir bekamen ein paar Tage später frisches Gemüse aus dem Garten. Katerina war stets erreichbar und sehr freundlich. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Insgesamt würden wir die Unterkunft weiter empfehlen! 5/5 Sterne!

Es war super schön hier. Wir wurden herzlich empfangen und die Kommunikation verlief reibungslos. Die Unterkunft ist wie auf den Bildern. Man ist ein bisschen am Berg oben, was super schön ist, da es dort viel ruhiger ist. In die Stadt und zum Strand kommt man super zu Fuß. Wir waren sehr zufrieden.

Unser Aufenthalt in Chania war wunderbar. Die Wohnung ist sehr geräumig und die Aussenbereiche wunderschön. Ioanna war sehr gut erreichbar und freundlich.

Great stay, great location, great views. Very close to many bars and restaurants. Not too noisy at night. The only slightly negative aspect was the shower. Basically made the entire floor flooded. Overall, i would recommend the place and would definitely return.

Hidden gem! Loved this home, literally two minute walk to Golden Beach. Katerina is so sweet (she met us in-person, had local restaurant recommendations, and even provided a bottle of wine). The home was perfect for our group of 6 (great value for the money, too). Would 100% come again!

Very nice modern house (less than five years old?) overlooking the sea. Everything in very good working order, including powerful air conditioning in the bedrooms. Frequent cleaning of the pool area was a benefit, particularly when a storm had come in the night before. Very convenient to Rethymno as well as to several bakeries and restaurants towards the centre of the island.

Wir haben 3 wunderschöne Wochen in Manos House verbracht, das Haus liegt in einer ruhigen Seitenstraße, es hat einen sehr schönen Garten in dem man wunderbar verweilen kann, nur wenige Gehminuten vom Strand und den Restaurants entfernt. Abends haben wir bei einem Glas Wein auf dem Balkon gesessen auf und den Sonnenuntergang genossen. Stavros ist ein kleiner ruhiger Ort in dem man sehr schnell in den Urlaubsmodus kommt und die Zeit einfach nur genießen kann. Wir haben uns in dem Haus sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen bestimmt noch mal wieder.

A lovely, luxury appartment near the beach and about 30 minutes' walk from the old town of Chania. A well-equipped, clean and beautiful appartment, but above all the warm and friendly hostess Anastasia. She guided us around the area, brought local delicacies, stocked the fridge with food and even drove us to the grocery store with her car. We really enjoyed our stay at the appartment and can wholeheartedly recommend it to others. You certainly wont't be disapointed!

Four friends and I stayed in this rustic, charming, beautiful and overall homie space for 7 days while we attending a wedding and we all unanimously could not have been more happy! This is a space that you feel so great walking into over and over. I had the best meal of my life with the entire party literally around the corner… maybe 20 steps and we were all in glee. The entire area in old town is gorgeous. You cannot see it any other way. There is a vibe to match your needs somewhere around another corner no matter what you look for on your trip. Shopping was excellent. The feeling of safety was consistent throughout the trip. People are friendly and common throughout the town even throughout the wee morning hours as many places do stay open quite late to always provide an option. I had said by day 1 I knew I would already come back here. Vassilis was a proactive and responsive gentleman in hosting. Truly a pleasure to deal with him and I really do hope to return for vacation. Séjour très agréable chez Irène. Maison très bien située au milieu des oliviers et à proximité de beaucoup d endroits. Irène est une personne très accueillante, gentille, attentionnée.....nous avons eu droit à des petites spécialités en arrivant et en rentrant le soir.... je recommande grandement . Merci Irène

Kostas muy amable, nos esperaba con un aperitivo y un kuchen increíble! el lugar estaba realmente frente a la playa, podíamos ir y volver caminando. Supermercado y restaurantes muy cerca.

Superbe maison, très bien située , endroit très calme et reposant. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. La maman de Gregoris nous a très amicalement accueillis et nous a fourni d excellents conseils. Je recommande sans hésiter.

Andreas und Georgia waren unglaublich gastfreundlich, hilfsbereit und immer erreichbar, wenn man Fragen hatte. Gleichzeitig haben sie einem aber auch alle Freiheiten gelassen. Besonders schön fand ich die kleinen persönlichen Aufmerksamkeiten, die den Aufenthalt wirklich besonders gemacht haben. Ich würde jederzeit wiederkommen und kann die Unterkunft uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen. Vielen Dank für alles – ihr seid fantastische Gastgeber!

Absolutely beautiful location, 2 minute walk to the main Old Port area and tons of nice shops in the back streets.

Words can’t describe how incredible this home is. Every corner you looked there was a masterpiece to be found. Beautifully decorated is an understatement, this Airbnb was curated over years and years of living. It was nested in the heart of the town. I will 100% be coming back. This place was super cute and very convenient in a area in town that is close to everything but not loud at night and less touristy. I would definitely recommend it and he was very responsive as a host. Every time I call he was there right away and answered right away. The place is also very attractive.

Wonderful Experience at the Villa Elias! Our stay at the villa was perfect. The sea view was breathtaking, especially during sunset – a true sense of calm, quiet, and complete privacy. Choosing this villa was an excellent decision, especially because of the heated pool, which the kids absolutely loved. They enjoyed both swimming and playing in the spacious garden. The villa is well-equipped, with many useful items that made our stay very comfortable, including an air pump for pool toys. The location is also great – close to shops, supermarkets, and pharmacies. Die Wohnung war sehr schön, so wie auf den Fotos. Es war sehr sauber, jeden zweiten Tag gab es neue Bettwäsche und jeden Tag wurde der Müll geleert. Der Pool war auch schön und sauber. Die Gegend ist sehr ruhig

The villa literally has everything including loo rolls and washing powder. It really is a home from home. Spotlessly clean. Rustic but modern. Bug nets on the windows (with electric shutters). Outside space is big & very well kept. All beds comfortable with plump pillows. Duvets if needed. Big living area with comfy sofa. Heated pool & pool cover which kept the pool at 27° without the need to heat it. Pool cleaning robot kept the pool spotless. Robot lawn mower kept the grass tidy & free from fallen leaves. Lots of water & cakes on arrival plus he brought us special bread and also eggs from their chickens. Cats - not an issue at all. Definitely need a car. Nikoloas & Antonia are both lovely. They meticulously cleaned the pool and pool area after the orange dust storm. Communication was excellent. He checked in with us after the earthquake and also sent suggestions for things to do. I would absolutely recommend this villa. This is by far the best Airbnb we’ve stayed in.

We hebben als gezin twee fantastische weken gehad in Villa Emanuelle. Het was een fantastisch verblijf waar met liefde en aandacht van de host alles tot in de puntjes verzorgd was. Altijd bereikbaar voor tips en bijzonder behulpzaam in de voorbereiding. Niets was te veel en zelf een gevulde koelkast bij aankomst. de Kreteense gastvrijheid in optima forma. Met recht een parel van een villa!

Nassos's was a great host, provided link and websites to use for bookings. Was always responsive and also accommodate all my requests at his best. We did not stay long to use the pool, but have to say one of the best looking and cleanest pool I have seen in Crete!

Villa Celestine is sensational! I can't recommend it enough. The villa is amazing and has all mod cons and luxury features. The views from the middle and top floors are second to none - right on the beach over looping the sea and the habour. The area is beautiful, Kolymbari is the perfect sleepy little seaside village, with plenty of restaurants, gift shops, taxis and waterparks nearby. But the best part was the team of Christina, George and everyone nearby that helped with everything we needed. The service was excellent, i'd say perfect!

The place was great and exactly as the photos suggest. Lots of steep and tiled stairs so a bit challenging with a 18 month old but for 3-4 year olds it was great. We came in May and the heated pool meant they could play in the pool all day. The place is lovely and clean, the outdoor bbq area is super and there are two taverns within walking distance as well as a corner shop. Anyone staying here will have a great holiday!

Phantastisches Haus, Küche super ausgestattet, großzügige Zimmer und Terrasse, herzliches welcoming mit selbstgekochtem Auflauf und Getränken! Super Service! 3x wurde komplett geputzt und Wäsche gewechselt! Klopapier und Spültabs wurden immer nachgefüllt! Die cleaning lady war klasse!!! Die Sonnenauf und -untergänge von der Terrasse aus ein absoluter Traum!!! Die Landschaft drumherum ebenfalls! Alle Empfehlungen zu Restaurants und Unternehmungen waren der Hit! Nach 2 Wochen waren wir sehr traurig wieder abfahren zu müssen! Falls nochmal Kreta, immer wieder dort!!!! Danke für alles!!!!
