Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Tanhyeon-myeon

Host was helpful with prompt responses, and gave clear instructions for the checkin. Love the portable TV as well! Wanted to use the lovely attic for reading but it was a little hot up there, would have been perfect if there is airconditioning in the attic too! Note that the bathroom is not directly connected to the room, but that seems to be how the old style houses generally are. It was a unique experience though, love that the hot tub was spacious and even had a skylight! Room was comfortable and cozy :)

The most beautiful Airbnb I've ever been to. Pictures already looked great, but even more beautiful and spacious in real life. Great host with accurate instructions and lots of love for the apartment. The perfect haven of peace in a big city like Seoul.

Me and my family had a fantastic stay at Butlers Lee modern hanok villa. It is immaculately presented and close to everything. Highly recommended especially to those who wants to explore the Bukchon and Insadong area.

We highly recommend Space Moda to anyone who is staying in Seoul for a few days, or a longer stay. Moda was an exceptional host - this was the best lodging we had during our entire 23 day trip to Japan and South Korea!! We will come back for sure the next time we return to Korea!!!

I spent the night chatting with my friends in a pleasant environment. It was nice that the owner's taste matched ours. A morning of tea in a bright living room It was really nice. I was impressed by the incense and water purifier that caught the smell at the moment. The only flaw was the smell of the bathhouse sewer. It must have been because I had high expectations for a really clean bathroom. I turned the ventilator and it was solved. I live in Ilsan, but I'll come back when my friend comes. Great stay! My family of 6 stayed at Jiyoung’s place three times during a 2 week stay in Korea. The apartment was very clean. Jiyoung was a responsive host and quickly came to help fix our conditioning the first night as well as provide more bath towels. The area is walkable and near the Bella Citta mall. I would stay here again next time we visit family!

My wife and I stayed here for two nights in June 2025. If you are looking for a truly unique, peaceful but modern hanok experience in Seoul, you must come and stay here. Each and every furniture and amenity has been curated and carefully thought of. The local recommendations and little details provided were spot on. Our host Jee and her husband has made a space to come and and unwind any stress in a truly beautiful setting and in a neighbourhood away from the typical “tourist” areas of Seoul. This is genuine modern hanok experience - highly recommended for the discerning couple.

nice, quiet area! it is a little tucked away and around some construction, but it isn’t disruptive. great room and easily access the bus stops and subways in the area.

The interior of the accommodation is neat and has a view of the lake park in front of it, so it's It was nice to have enough convenience products such as towels. There is also a convenience store right on the first floor, so it's convenient. Parking is also convenient, and there is a park in front, so it's perfect for eating and taking a walk in the evening! I am satisfied ~

My wife and I stayed here for 1 week, and it was well worth what we paid. It was very easy to get around with the metro close by, do note that it’s a steep walk to the apartment if you have mobility issues. It was not a problem for us. The air conditioner worked amazing, as did the hot water. The bed was comfortable & the lack of bedsheets was not a problem and she had this comfy pad on the bad that did not move. The one night some neighbors were loud after quiet hours, we let Kelly know and she handled it very promptly for us, which we appreciated! There’s also a great Indian restaurant nearby, and lots of 7 elevens and other convenience stores. The quality for the price is amazing for Seoul, and we definitely recommend for your next stay if you want a central and affordable place!

Great location with numerous restaurants in the area, and access to multiple subway lines as well! The place was quaint and the small touch of setting up the radio to Seoul’s classical music station was really nice. We can’t wait to come back for another trip in the future!

Fun stay in an interesting neighbourhood! The place was extremely clean and very comfortable. The host was very friendly and answered all questions quickly. Things were generally as-expected and the experience was seamless and enjoyable. The floating bed was a unique touch and we enjoyed it, but those who are especially tall or have limited mobility might find it a challenge to get in and out of.

We really enjoyed our stay at this apartment. It’s very close to Namsan Tower — we took the bus up and walked down, which was a great experience. You can also easily walk to Myeongdong, which is super convenient, and Seoul Station is just nearby. The apartment itself is great, and the host was kind and helpful whenever we needed anything. Highly recommend this place! If I come back to Seoul, I’ll definitely try to stay here again if it’s available.

We enjoyed our stay here! Location was pretty close to good restaurants and shopping in Hongdae/Hongik Station area. The host let us know that the room was ready for check in earlier than the expected time and it was very convenient that they had an area for secured luggage storage. The air conditioner worked great and bed was very comfortable! Only issue we had was figuring out how to get warm water for a shower but would stay again!

It was a very pleasant stay, very close to Hongdae, I think Hongdae is the best place to visit, and the homestay is very close to the subway station bus station, so it is very convenient to stay here.The homestay is very cozy and feels very homey. The room is not the same as a normal homestay. There are kitchen utensils, washing machine, dryer, laundry detergent, and even curling hair sticks. It is super friendly to girls, and the surrounding environment is very quiet. At night, you don't have to worry about being noisy.The host is also huge and responsive.It's very hard to walk around, and I'll definitely stay here again next time I come.

Great space. Just enough for one person. I think two people would feel cramped. The space is smaller than in the pictures. I like how she decorated the place. It added more warmth to the room. I enjoyed chilling with the warm lighting and under the covers at night. It felt cosy and like home. Host is kind and allowed an early check in, with specific instructions on how to get to her place. She also recommended me places to visit nearby and responded quickly whenever I asked her questions. I’m a solo female traveler so I felt safe because there’s two passcodes to enter the building, unlock the door and a small lift. Cons: There is a steep slope you have to climb before reaching the Airbnb. So pushing luggage up & down is a hassle. The toilet is also really small. It takes about an hour if you want to go to myeongdong/gangnam/dongdaemun. But the airbnb is closer to the airport and highly accessible via bus/train. Overall, great deal for the price! You get what you pay for!

I can't say that the price is cheap, but it's right in front of the opposition party station, so the infrastructure is good, clean and comfortable.
