Loger dans une finca de café c’est original et l’expérience était à la hauteur, surtout combinée avec une visite guidée. Très bon accueil, Wilson est venu me chercher à l’arrêt de bus après m’avoir expliqué comment arriver; la chambre était grande et propre avec coin salle de bains et ce qu’il faut pour une nuit, et se réveiller avec le chant des oiseaux et une vue sur les collines et cultures de café alentour est très agréable ! Ne pas oublier d’apporter à manger surtout si on n’a pas de voiture car il n’y a pas de village accessible à pied ! Il est possible de cuisiner sur place. Et prévoir une lampe torche / frontale peut s’avérer très utile

Muy confortable y agradable el ambiente del hostal. un lugar muy hermoso para apreciar la naturaleza. lo mejor son los anfitriones que le dan un ambiente muy familiar y cercano. Regresaria con toda seguridad.

This has been, without a doubt, the top experience I’ve had in Colombia—and one of the best Airbnbs I’ve ever stayed in. The views from the farm are absolutely breathtaking. Truly one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever laid eyes on, and a view I’ll never forget. The family who runs the finca is beyond kind. Jaime & Ismelda welcomed me with such warmth that I felt like part of their family by the end of my stay. The farm itself is stunning—so peaceful, so well cared for, and full of charm. They offer several different lodging options of different flavors depending on what you’re looking for. If you go, the cabalgata (horseback riding) was wonderful. They also offer tours of the coffee farm, which I wish I had done! And the food? Absolutely delicious. Every meal was made with love. I loved the option to have home cooked meals ❤️ I will remember my stay forever. The peace & tranquility I felt was unmatched, absolutely magic.

Esta es la segunda vez que me quedo en esta finca, y cada vez que vuelva al suroeste siempre escogeré quedarme aquí, es un lugar mágico y tranquilo, con paisajes espectaculares, don Wilson que calidad de persona te hace sentir como en casa, ademas que realiza el mejor y mas completo tour cafetero y te recomienda lugares para conocer

Nous avons passé une semaine très agréable en compagnie d'Eduardo et de sa famille à la Villa Amparo. Le site est absolument magnifique. Très isolé, nous sommes venus en bus de Bogota (11h) et repartis en bus pour Medellin (4h). L'endroit est idéal pour les randonnées, pour faire du cheval et pour être au calme. Le village le plus proche, La Merced, est charmant et très authentique, à une heure à pieds ou à 15mn en Jeep qu'on peut réserver. Les chambres et la salle de bain sont rustiques mais on passe son temps à l'extérieur donc cela n'est pas gênant. Toute la famille a été aux petits soins pour que notre séjour se passe au mieux. A noter que les repas sont obligatoirement préparés par Eduardo qui propose de la cuisine locale. Nous recommandons vivement cette adresse pour passer un moment authentique dans un cadre exceptionnel.

Natalia's finca is a little paradise! Her garden and the environment are so beautiful and the house is do welcoming. The rooms are very nice and I also loved the hummingbirds in the garden! A very welcoming atmosphere! When I arrived, I was offered a coffee immediately, and Natalia also organised two trips for me, which were both wonderful. I would recommend this place to anyone!

We could not have found William more helpful. We were unsure if we would be able to make it to Jardin due to road closures and he was so kind to communicate with us so much and help us with our plans. We are so glad we made the extra long journey as we had such a lovely time, just wish it was longer! Fanny was also so welcoming and cooked us a delicious breakfast!

Está ubicado en una zona de bonito paisaje, buen clima, cálido en el día, frío en la noche. Fuimos seis personas y nos ubicamos bien en los tres cuartos. Es cerca a la vía principal y una parte del tramo de acceso es destapado pero en buen estado. Fue un óptimo descanso disfrutando la naturaleza y comodidades de la casa como la piscina y el juego de billar.

Hermosa finca y paisaje

My husband and I had an absolutely wonderful weekend at Marta’s home on a stunning mountainside with gorgeous views! We are so glad that we decided to make this our homebase and visit Jardin and the surrounding area for hikes, wandering town or for meals. Marta and family are lovely people and we felt so welcomed immediately. Staying at their finca, where they grow coffee and so many kinds of fruit, is a lovely way to learn more about Colombian culture. We balanced our time hanging out at the house and having some meals there with going into Jardín and hiking the area. It is worth knowing that Gustavo, Marta’s husband, is available to pick you up and bring you to/from town for a fee; he is an expert at navigating the steep and sometimes muddy road to their home. That in itself is a memorable adventure in his jeep from the 1950’s! We also got to practice our Spanish and their youngest daughter (who is was delightful) practiced her English with us. We can’t wait to return.

Usually I do not leave long reviews, but this place was my best Airbnb experience in 9 years ! There is so much to say, so I will try to focus on the most important. The place is pure paradise : not only beautiful but super well maintained. So many different areas to enjoy : the main house, the game area with the pool table facing an endless forest of trees, the forest, the pool area and its seating arrangements, .... The trees, the views and the mountains are from another world ! We like to walk around and every walk the dalmatians were following us for the trip !! Soooo cute ! Now the very unique part : Chef Jimena ! She is a shining star !! She is there at any moment of the day and evening (even late), cooking and preparing anything you want and all fresh and organic. Fruits , cocktails, whatever you want, she will do it on the spot. The meat on hot stones was terrific and a great experience. Thanks to Dario and William as well, always there to help. See you very very soon !

Staying at Cafe Turpial was a beautiful and unique experience. We loved their honey processed coffee and the detailed preparation using various techniques with precision. Coffee and Sancocho was chefs kiss. The surroundings is a stunning organic food forest, with chickens and little funny dogs. This was a great place to land in Jerico, thank you so much!

This country house provides all amenities needed for a comfortable stay with comfortable bedrooms with baths and abundant open air space surrounded by nature. Perched on a hillside overlooking Jardin the views were constantly changing as clouds formed and floated by. A bumpy 10 minute drive to the beautiful city of Jardin where there are abundant offerings to satisfy any interest. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

El lugar está muy bien ubicado, fácil de llegar, es limpio y tranquilo. El clima delicioso, caliente en el día y fresco en la noche, el lugar es ideal para pasar un tiempo tranquilo en familia. El anfitrión y la señora que nos recomendaron para el aseo y cocinar, muy amables y dispuestos a ayudarnos.

Fue una maravillosa estadía tanto para mi como mi familia, un lugar limpio casero y muy silencioso.. Pude hacer lo que quería finalmente que era desconectarme de la ciudad y su bullicio. Todo lo que necesitamos estaba a la mano y Ángela y el administrador siempre estuvieron prestos ante cualquier duda.

This place is absolutely magical, the house is located on a large coffee plantation with all the luxuries that you could ever want. It spreads across two big houses with their own vegetable garden, heated pool, all kinds of gains for kids. The coffee tour was incredible, which is done right on site. The owner’s owned several properties as well as as a massive production of coffee. It was great to be able to do the tour and learn so much about one of our favorite drinks. The kids had a blast in the heated pool, which I think is the star of the entire house. Has a small cold that serves a great purpose on hot days. The outdoor shower in the main bedroom is incredible. The views to the mountain speechless. They take great pride in the decoration and taking care of this property. The people that handle everything from checking into cooking and cleaning or outstanding and super nice. I would highly recommend this property to anybody, it’s worth every penny and we can’t wait to go back.

La atención excelente, los anfitriones muy buenas personas, fueron flexibles con el check-in y con el check-out teniendo en cuenta la disponibilidad del lugar. El desayuno como en casa, te ponen en la mesa fritas para que disfrutes sin costo adicional. El lugar demasiado tranquilo y la cama supremamente cómoda. Volveríamos sin duda…
