This is the place for◆ healing, retro, and off the beaten track travel! A house in a rainbow pine forest. This is a modern Japanese-style house newly built in January 2024. 2 minutes on foot from the station (airport line), and 5 minutes on foot to the sea, hot springs, and shopping center. You can also enjoy leisure and sports (golf, marine sports, hiking, and touring). Limited to one group per day, so you can use all the space. Right in front of it is Nijii-no-Matsubara, one of Japan's top three Matsubara pine forests. You can also walk to the beach through the pine forest or enjoy cycling. We also support long-term stays. (Price adjustment possible) The room There is a 14-tatami kitchen & dining room, 6-tatami Japanese-style room (additional use of 8-tatami Western-style room when booking for 4 people), toilet, washroom, and shower room. It is a safe, all-electric specification. Nice place, good service, and good food for my birthday accommodation. Originally planned BBQ nighttime, but suddenly the weather changed with strong wind. Staff very helpful in arranging the mobile induction cooktop instead of BBQ!

We had a wonderful 3-night stay here with our 8-month-old. Everything in the house was new and in great condition, and it was very well stocked with everything we needed. The host was incredibly responsive and made sure we were well settled from the start. The views were absolutely stunning, and the space was perfect for switching off—whether we were relaxing in the sauna, grilling on the BBQ, going for a swim, watching a movie on the projector or reading a book by the window. They had kindly provided a high chair, and we could help ourselves to drinks, which was a lovely touch. It’s a peaceful and beautifully designed getaway—we’d love to return!

The host was polite and quick to respond, so I never felt anxious during my stay! The room was just like the photos in the listing, and it was a wonderful Japanese-style room!I was impressed by the spaciousness of the Japanese-style room.It's like a large hall in a ryokan, where you can relax and unwind! What made me even happier was that the whole room was air-conditioned!It was really helpful to be able to stay comfortably in any room on a hot day.The room is well cared for with attention to detail, and it is also clean!

The accommodation was very beautiful, and I was able to have a different experience. Near the accommodation, you can walk to the observation deck of Sagashi Yuil, Honmaru, and the shrine, making it an ideal place for sightseeing. Also, Yume Mart is nearby, so it's convenient to buy snacks. Above all, the owner was kind and helpful, so I was able to enjoy my trip comfortably.

Really enjoyed my time at this Airbnb. The seaside town was cozy and surrounded by beauty. I came by car, but it would have been just as convenient by train. The host was very friendly and helpful. 20 minutes walk to a lovely onsen. Couldn’t have asked for a more relaxing getaway in the countryside.

We loved our time at Hanneke’s place. She was so friendly and helpful. Her place had everything we needed. She gave us great advice about things to do, places to eat, Japanese etiquette, etc. We met nice people and saw lots of beautiful pottery. We will definitely be back. One tip: if you get off the train at Kami-Arita make sure you’re in the front carriage as they don’t let you out of the rear one. Also be prepared to walk or go to Arita station and get a taxi.
