塱原濕地是現時全港最大的淡水濕地，由不同種類之農田組成，有稻田，西洋菜，蓮花田，通菜田，秋葵等等，亦夾雜著荒廢農地，因此不但為鳥不少水鳥、平原鳥及林鳥提供食物，荒廢農田亦為雀鳥提供不少藏身之所，因此吸引不少雀鳥前來補給渡冬。對鳥攝者一而言塱原是個充滿驚喜的地方，因品種出現十分多樣性，水鳥，平原鳥，林鳥以至猛禽,均有可能見到，亦可親身踏足搜索，驚喜度滿分！另外，令鳥攝者喜歡經常踏足塱原鳥攝的原因，是塱原是個優美的地方，只要細心捕捉，不難拍到優美的畫面，既可拍到鳥，亦可呈現牠們優美的生活環境。

Mr Hok Ching is an excellent host. He is kind and very helpful. He met me at the Metro station and made it easy to find his apartment. His apartment is in a heavenly beautiful part of North Hong Kong. I would definitely recommend his place.

This is a great place to get away from the hustle and bustle of Hong Kong. I had a great stay with a few of my mates, where we were able to enjoy the footy after our BBQ at the nearby BBQ spot. The house is very big, so it was spacious and getting multiple floors was the cherry on top because we had that privacy all to ourselves. Additionally, the rooftop had unmatched ambience - this is good for people wanting to rent this place as the views are breathtaking and even if it starts to rain the umbrella really does cover everyone. Lastly, the pizza next door has extremely good deals and tastes very nice. All in all, a great experience, would highly recommend!

Randy’s place was quiet, peaceful, and spacious, particularly by Hong Kong standards. It’s an especially great base if you’re visiting or studying at CUHK and/or hoping to explore or hike in this part of the New Territories. It was exactly what I was looking for, and I look forward to staying here again the next time I’m in HK!

The perfect place for a group of friends or a family to enjoy a weekend at the country side of Hong Kong! Within close proximity, there is an artisan bakery / pizzeria and lots of barbecue options! David was prompt to respond to our questions and easy to communicate with. Not to mention the view from the roof top is breathtaking. Would recommend!
