House holiday rentals in Taganana, Santa Cruz de Tenerife

We had a wonderful stay in Puerto de la Cruz. Luisa is a lovely host who replies quickly and is very happy to give local recommendations. She even met us very late on our first night (1am!) to let us in and show us around the property. The house itself is large and beautiful and very well-equipped for a big group. We had everything we needed to cook for a week as a group of nine, and more than enough space. The heated pool really is amazing and was such a treat in early May. Highly recommend this house!

We hebben het heerlijk gehad met 7 personen in dit prachtige huis! Het contact verliep erg prettig en snel. Het ontvangst was fijn. Naast een korte uitleg en rondleiding hadden ze ook een heerlijk welkomspakket klaar staan met vers fruit en lekkernijen. Het huis was goed te vinden en is een heerlijke plek om te zijn. De verschillende badkamers en ruime vertrekken geven rust en ruimte. De keuken is voorzien van alles gemakken. Maar we hebben voornamelijk buiten geleefd. Wat een heerlijk terras, balkon en zwembad! De verlichting, de geluidsinstallatie en de mooie glazen schuifpuien waardoor binnen en buiten in elkaar overliepen, gaven een luxe gevoel. En dan heb ik het nog niet eens over het uitzicht, fenomenaal! Al met al een hele dikke aanrader! Bedankt we hebben genoten!

We stayed for a week with 2 young kids. We had lots of space and the kids really enjoyed the heated pool. There is plenty of privacy and a great view of Teide, really nice place and we’d definitely stay again. Thanks Ana for responding quickly to our questions with accurate local recommendations

We were absolutely happy with our stay at the villa! Our host Daniel did everything he could to make our time as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. The view was stunning, and the walk down to the beach was a little adventure in itself. We were a group of 7 adults and one baby, and the house was perfectly suited for us. A baby crib was provided, and Daniel even brought us a baby bathtub, which we really appreciated. There was plenty of space for everyone! Unfortunately, we didn’t get the chance to use the cinema room downstairs, but it looked amazing and very impressive. We had a wonderful time and can absolutely recommend this place. We really enjoyed our stay here! Xavier was super helpful and always responsive. It’s very peaceful and quiet and you can hear the sound of the waves from the pool area - very relaxing ☺️

We have just got back from an amazing stay at this lovely house. Elia is great host, so friendly, helpful and responsive. We had a few questions and Elia always made herself available to help us. The house was beautifully designed, super clean and well stocked, with high quality appliances. The kitchen was particularly well stocked with cookware, more than what we needed, which was helpful as we cooked a lot there. The garden space was beautiful and the pool was clean and just the right size for us. Amazing location for northern Tenerife and easy walking distance to the beautiful, historic town of St Cristobel La Laguna. Would highly recommend this venue!

We've just finished our stay at the property and it was perfect. We wanted somewhere to relax for the week in beautiful surroundings and it ticked that box and more! The house itself is gorgeous and has everything you'd need for your stay, including a juicer which meant we got to have fresh OJ every morning, with oranges bought down the road. The pool and hot tub in particular were amazing with fantastic views down the valley.

Tolle Unterkunft fernab vom Touristentrubel. Sehr ruhig gelegen mit wunderbarem Blick in die Berge und aufs Meer. Tatiana war eine sehr herzliche, freundliche Gastgeberin und sie war immer für uns da. Wir genossen unseren Aufenthalt sehr und wir können die Unterkunft nur weiterempfehlen!

A truly unique mountain experience! The views from the terraces are spectacular! probably even more so in good weather, we were a bit unlucky on that front. The two apartments are very well kept and clean, the kitchen was great and had everything we needed, even milk. 😊 Beds were comfy, we felt very much at home! It is true that the entrances to the apartments are a bit further apart so I would probably not recommend it for families with more than one very small child (one can sleep in the "parents apartment" , there is a extra bed). For our kids (9yrs+) it was no problem and even great fun to have their own pad! I also recommend taking warm clothes as it can get cold in the clouds. But there are also heaters to keep the living area cozy. For walks I highly recommend the big loop from Chamorga, and there is a fantastic little French restaurant in Taborno (also a good smaller hike there). Thank you Tamara for having us!

Es war grundsätzlich alles so wie beschrieben. Es hat uns sehr gefallen! Etwas möchte ich jedoch anmerken: Der Aussenraum wird von zwei Einheiten gemeinsam genutzt, nur war das nicht allen Parteien klar. Die ersten Nachbarn waren überrascht, dass wir auch dort waren und die zweiten Nachbarn haben den Raum sehr eingenommen. Beim Checkin muss man das eventuell nochmals erwähnen. Beste Grüsse

Diese Unterkunft ist der perfekte Ort für alle, die einen ruhigen Rückzugsort inmitten der Natur suchen. Schon bei unserer Ankunft haben wir uns von Jörg und Magdalena herzlich willkommen geheißen gefühlt. Mit ihrer warmen Art und ihrer Liebe zu dieser Insel bleiben keine Fragen und Wünsche offen. Dank der zentralen Lage ist die Insel mit dem Auto wunderbar zu erkunden. Und wenn das Wetter auf der eigenen Terrasse einmal nicht ganz mitspielt, ist der sonnige Süden nicht weit entfernt. Wir haben die Zeit hier sehr genossen und freuen uns schon jetzt darauf, wiederkommen zu dürfen!

Qué bien lo hemos pasado en esta casa abierta sobre el mar en un pueblo preservado del turismo de masa ! María Antonia y su marido son anfitriones excepcionales : nos acogieron con una botella de vino local, frutas y lo necesario para el desayuno del día siguiente. La casa es ideal (sobre todo la terraza !) para desconectar del todo y está bien ubicada para ir a descubrir La Laguna, las montañas de Anaga, Santa Cruz y todos los pueblos de la costa noroeste y el Teide (se puede contemplar desde la casa). El día en que no teníamos ganas de movernos podíamos bañarnos en la piscina natural de la parte baja del pueblo y saborear pulpo frito con papas arrugadas en el bar de la cofradía de los pescadores. Hemos vivido una experiencia única . Gracias María Antonia !

La casa era muy bonita✨, tal cual se ve en las fotos, además olía muy bien, estaba todo muy limpio y teníamos muchas toallas, mantas y detalles como comida bebidas etc que son muy útiles y se agradecen mucho! La anfitriona era muy agradable y muy atenta siempre a tu disposición , hemos estado muy agusto y volvería a repetir 😊👍🏼

This is our second stay here this year and we absolutely love it! It was so good getting back, knowing where everything was, how to get there, knowing the local area! The place is amazing, so quiet, peaceful, the gardens are so beautiful! I honestly cannot rate this place anymore! I didn’t want to leave this morning, and will be going back again in the near future!

Daniele é stata una splendida host. Precisa e puntuale nelle comunicazioni. Disponibile ai nostri orari di arrivo e partenza. L’alloggio ha una vista magnifica sul mare e sull’isola della Gomera. All’arrivo abbiamo persino trovato un omaggio della loro produzione agricola! Ci siamo sentiti davvero a nostro agio.

We had a lovely time at Buddha House near Alcala, we flew to the south airport and hired a small car Fernando met us at the petrol station in the nearby town to show us the way up the hill to Buddha house. the plane was delayed but Fernando was not fussed he is very Calm and laid back. the location is fabulous there are great views from the house across the banana plantations to the sea and to the west there are the spectacular cliffs and mountains of los gigantes . the beaches and natural pools at Alcala are among some of the best we had seen on the island and not at all crowded like the resorts near to the airport. your well placed to drive up over the mountains to the north side of the island if you want to go exploring and to visit the volcano, or go for a hike in the eastern hills around Masca. the house is excellent its so peaceful and quiet and we had the pool all to ourselves . air con/ wifi /hot water /washing machine etc , would give 10 stars if it was possible.!!

Liebe Sucher und Entdecker, Wenn ihr eine abgelegne Unterkunft sucht, weit ab von Massentourismus, wo die Einheimischen kaum oder gar nicht englisch sprechen und sowohl das Meer und die Natur ganz vor der Tür liegt, seit ihr hier richtig. Es gibt einen kleinen lockeren Einkaufsladen im Ort. 15 Minuten Fußmarsch entfernt, wenn ihr gut zu Fuß seid. Da müsst ihr in die Bucht vom Berg runter und auf der anderen Seite der Bucht, auf den anderen Berg steigen. Da ist eine kleine Kapelle, die offen hat. Im kleinen Laden bekommt ihr vieles, was ihr für den täglichen Fress|Verbrauch braucht. Die Menschen sind angenehm, aber lernt ein bisschen spanisch, da freuen sie sich drüber. Einfache Wörter wie guten Tag und danke. Respekt vor den Menschen und der Umwelt sind sehr angesagt. Übrigens die Unterkunft. Ja, es gibt Katzen und Eidechsen überall. Wir haben es gelebt. Das Haus liegt super ruhig, und ihr müsst eure Koffer da hoch schleppen. Es gibt keine befahrbare Straße dort hin. Die Zeilen reich

It is simply a great place to stay! Apartment is great, location authentic, quiet, and with all you could wish for near by! And with a rental car placed in the garage, the location is perfect for investing the beautiful north of the island!

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour d’une semaine. L’arrivée de nuit n’a posé aucun soucis et je les en remercie. Je vous recommande ce logement qui est paisible et même si le quartier où il est situé n’est pas très touristique, il se situe à quelques minutes de tout et pratique si vous souhaitez visiter le nord et le sud de l’île. De plus il y a un arrêt de bus à quelques pas. Merci beaucoup pour ce séjour 🤍

Celine ist eine sehr freundliche und aufmerksame Gastgeberin, die immer schnell auf Nachrichten reagiert. Die Küche ist bestens ausgestattet (Mikrowelle, Toaster, Pfannen, Töpfe, Besteck, Öl, Salz, Pfeffer usw.). Das Meer ist nur etwa 50 Meter entfernt – man kann es sogar beim Kochen oder im Vorgarten rauschen hören. Ein Mietauto ist meiner Meinung nach auf Teneriffa ein Muss. Die Lage war für uns ideal: ca. 25 Minuten nach Santa Cruz und etwa 25 Minuten zum Flughafen Süd. Auch die Autobahn ist schnell erreichbar. Wir würden definitiv wiederkommen – und auf jeden Fall wieder in in der Unterkunft von Celine!

We really enjoyed our stay here! Three relaxing nights at the end of our trip. We didn't have amazing weather to make the most of the terrace, but loved sitting in the living room window looking out to sea. The outdoor shower was amazing, loved it! The inside was more spacious than we were expecting, the layout was great and the restoration of this home really impressive. We weren't expecting the main road in front of property to be so busy, however the sound of the sea mostly masked the noise of the traffic.
