Our child friendly rural retreat has plenty of room to roam, relax and play! Just a few minutes from Tabua town you can access shops, restaurants and facilities with ease.

Only 35 kms from Serra da Estrela and 75 kms from Coimbra, in a small village in Serra do Açor with daily delivery of fresh bread, is RAIZ, a 1907 house waiting for you to enjoy good views and a magnificent sunset on the terrace. It's a 10min walk through the village to the river with beaches and a café whilst charming Coja town is a 5min drive and includes several restaurants, cafes, bakeries, bank. A multitude of historic sights and outdoor activities are catered for in the surrounding area.

Excellent for a couple or an individual who loves the simplicity, purity and silence of nature. The house includes an open kitchen and living room, a 11 m2 mezanine for sleeping, an outside shower, compost toilet in a 5000 m2 forest garden with granit boulders, natural structures, sculptures and chillout places.
