The house has been remodeled. Good size kitchen and a large living/dining room. Newer appliances, dishwasher, flat top stove. Tvs throughout house, fish tank, surround sound system, games and books. Next to beautiful development with Mountain View’s, picture windows, cozy, snug, warm lights throughout the property.

As with other reviews, this is a GEM. Squeaky clean top to bottom, well appointed and VERY spacious. Yes, there's road noise, but it's not a freeway and it doesn't prohibit a great sleep in those comfortable beds. We did a fair amount of walking from here to eat, workout and grocery shop. Absolutely will stay again.

Really enjoyed the setting among the orchards! It was a very quiet place to stay and the view off of the porch is nice to relax to. Yakima is not far away at all, and it was nice to not be in the city. I would stay again!

Our time at Doug’s place was a joy. Charming and adequately supplied, with small touches showing he cares about his guests’ experience. Doug was available for guidance, and also allowed for a sense of seclusion. His recommendations for local fare and fun were spot on. We even made new friends at a nearby breakfast joint simply by mentioning his name. The view is better than the photos, with sunsets being particularly spectacular. This little hideaway is a glamping gem.
