Cottage holiday rentals in Subbetica

Vi havde en skøn og afslappende uge. Huset var skønt og det var hvad vi skulle bruge. Porten ville ikke åbne en dag vi skulle på tur. Vi kontaktede solymar Holidays, og vi fik hjælp i løbet af 20 min. De bedste anbefalinger herfra.

Peaceful stay for a week. Beautiful elevated location with panoramic views. Rocabella restaurant at the bottom of the track was great if you dont feel like venturing out far, with a varied menu from light bites to main dishes with burgers, steaks and fish.. My advice would would be to grab some basic groceries from a supermarket prior to going up to the house i.e coffee, bread eggs , drinks etc. I travelled with my ederly mother and the accomodation was suitable for our needs as she is unable to manage steps. There is one twin room downstairs with a bathroom and walk in shower which is next to the kitchen , lounge and outside patio so easy access for her with limited mobility. its would not be suitable for a wheelchair however. Upstairs there is a double bedroom with doors opening onto a patio with table and chairs, perfect for your morning coffee to relish the sun rise and sunsets, and also affording privacy if travelling with others in your group. I throughly enjoyed my stay. 😊

Ein gutes Haus auch für einen längeren Aufenthalt. Vom Dorf aus erreicht man in 20 Minuten Cordoba; Sevilla, Granada usw. sind ungefähr alle gleich weit weg (knapp 2 Stunden). Das Haus ist gemütlich, besonders für eine größere Gruppe, mehrere Aufenthaltsräume. Der Pool wurde täglich gereinigt und aufgefüllt und Enrique war sehr nett und bereit auf individuelle Wünsche mehr Handtücher, versetzte Abreise) einzugehen.

Très bon accueil, hébergement dans un cadre idyllique, tres bonne literie, tres bon équipement intérieur et extérieur, nous avons passé un excellent sejour et recommandons cet hébergement !

We were a family of three generations with 4 children, 8 and under. We all had a wonderful, relaxing time. The large, spectacular pool was ideal for adults and children and the small shallow area allowed the youngest children to play safely. The veranda provided welcome shade for breakfast and lunch and a magical setting to dine, overlooking the illuminated pool and garden on balmy evenings. The house was spacious and well equipped, including a large barbecue in the garden, and the air-conditioning was effective. Ana was welcoming and responded quickly to any requests. Temperatures reached the high 30s most days, but we avoided the mid afternoon heat and took full advantage of the warm evenings. Castro del Rio is very different from the coastal tourist hotspots but has several restaurants, a couple of supermarkets and a picturesque centre around the castle. Cordoba and large supermarkets are a short drive away. We would love to return!

Espectacular casa a las afueras de Palenciana. La ubicación y las vistas son una maravilla y la casa se nota que está hecha con mucho cariño y pensando en los detalles. Cuenta con todo lo indispensable y es muy cómoda para grandes grupos. Destacar la amabilidad y la disponibilidad de Pedro, tuvimos un pequeño problema con las duchas de arriba tras una fuerte tormenta y lo solventó con la mayor brevedad posible. Sin ninguna duda, repetiremos.

increíble hospedaje, muy tranquilo, vecinos muy agradables, un castillo precioso, la zona residencial maravillosa, la casa estupenda y las vistas inigualables!! absolutamente con todos los servicios, todo lo necesario en cocina y hasta más! la comunicación fue increíble, siempre estuvo pendiente y las indicaciones también fueron muy precisas. nos encontramos muy agradecidos por absolutamente todo.

All I can say is I've just returned from a fantastic weeks stay at Clara's place. It was everything and more. I couldn't have asked for a better place. Clara is also a 5 star host and i really appreciate all you did for us. The villa is immaculate and has everything thought. Really is a perfect air BnB. Thank you Clara.

En un mot FORMIDABLE😊 Hôtes très accueillants, très flexibles au niveau des horaires , belle piscine aussi surtout si passionnés du Réal.. On a retenu aussi la propreté des lieux, nickel 👌🏼 Vraiment dommage que nous soyons venue pour une nuit car c’est vraiment un cottage où on a envie d’y rester 😁

Estancia muy acogedora. En plena naturaleza para desconectar de todo. Cerca de Antequera y con un entorno espectacular. Antonio, el anfitrión, encantador y muy atento. La casa muy limpia y con todas las comodidades. Hemos echado un fin de semana muy bueno. Totalmente recomendable. Volveremos.

Comfortable house in a beautiful spot very private and spotlessly clean. Good base for exploring and walking. Was the wrong time of year for us to use the pool but the grounds and outside space were really nice too. Only thing would be to have information in the house about how everything worked, what there was to do in the area where to put the rubbish, house rules etc. Overall a great stay.

todo muy confortable, correspondía con la descripción, todo en orden, la anfitriona muy amable y siempre al pendiente de todo y siempre en comunicación. la casa es muy cómoda y tienes cierta intimidad teniendo en cuenta a los vecinos de alrededor. el pueblo es muy tranquilo, te permite estar tranquilo durante toda la estancia en la casa.

The house was great - very spacious for four of us. The location is about 10 min from the end of the Caminito del Rey - we parked in El Chorro and appreciated not getting back on a shuttle bus to get to our car. The views are amazing and 360 around the house. It was hot weather while er were there but the AC works great, and plenty of shade by the pool. Groceries are not close by so stock up before you arrive! Juan was a great host!

un sitio ideal para hacer el Caminito del Rey, Francisco muy amable, lo único echamos en falta un aseo en la planta de arriba, por lo demás todo estupendo.

Really lovely spot with amazing, large pool, that you can actually swim in, even with a group of eight, outdoor seating to relax and enjoy views. Our group appreciated all the separate bathrooms and cooking indoors and out and eating on the balcony. Host was very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended! Malaga, Marbella, and Granada are all about an hour to an hour and a half away. El Torcal ( remarkable rock formations on a hike) is only 1 hour. Walkable little market for beer/wine. We came by car, so not sure about public transportation. Do be aware that there is no dishwasher, but the lovely unique dishes are great. Occasionally you hear neighboring dogs , but the road is quiet. I especially recommend going to Museo Etnológico de Riogordo a little local museum about Andalusian culture/ historical life it is a gem off the tourist beaten path. Enjoy! Our Family loved our time:)

I can't recommend this place enough. The owner was beyond helpful and friendly. The pool is big and clean, and the place itself spacious enough to hold a lot of people. The photos don't do the place justice, it's absolutely stunning, sorrounded by nature and perfect to disconnect from the hustle of everyday life. The views are breathtaking. There's no AC, but it's built to withstand the hot weather so it wasn't an issue. We stayed for 3 months without any issues and had a wonderful time, will definitely visit again.

Rustig gelegen in de heuvels rond Alcoucin gaat de cottage van William en Simone schuil onder de geur van de bougainvillea en de schaduw van de omringende olijfbomen. Een ware oase op een uurtje rijden van de prachtige stad Malaga en het charmante Torre del Mar. De cottage biedt echt alles wat je nodig hebt. Snelle WiFi-verbinding, een mooie slaapkamer met prima bed, een ruime badkamer, een goed uitgerust keukentje en niet te vergeten, het fraai gelegen zwembad. Wij hebben er vier fijne dagen doorgebracht en komen zeker terug. Hans en Frankie

La casa preciosa y acogedora! El pueblo es precioso y su gente maravillosa y Mari José fue comprensiva con la hora de la llegada! Ojalá hubiéramos podido estar más en la casa y en el pueblo!

Disfrutamos de un fin de semana entre amigos en la casa de Ramón y no pudo ser mejor. La casa es tal cual como aparece en las fotos y muy limpia. La piscina y la cocina son, sin duda, los mayores encantos de la casa. Además, está a solo una hora en coche de Córdoba y de Málaga. Los anfitriones fueron muy amables y atentos en todo momento. Una experiencia de 10 de 10, repetiremos sin duda.

This is a beautiful old former flour mill that has been lovingly converted into a fantastic holiday home. We spent almost all of our time by the pool, which is absolutely wonderful. We did all our cooking/eating in the separate kitchen area that is next to the pool. The interior of the house is great too, it has good sized bedrooms with comfortable beds and two nice bathrooms. There are sofas to relax on, a number of flat-screen TVs, and good wi-fi throughout. The house and pool are completely private, and although being next to a small road, there was almost no traffic. It is too far to walk to the village, but only a few mins drive by car. The owners, Pino and Pedro, are lovely - very friendly and welcoming. They explained all about the interesting history of the property. It was very hot at night in Aug, so we had to buy some fans for the bedrooms from a nearby village. The fans also blocked out the sound of distant dog barking, which is of course common to rural areas of Spain.

La estancia en casa de Gloria ha sido magnífica. Es el segundo año que nos alojamos allí. Todo está limpio y ordenado y la casa está muy completa. El entorno es muy bonito. Gloria y su hija han sido muy amables y han estado atentas a todas nuestras necesidades. Seguro que repetimos.

La maison de Jesus est une jolie demeure chargée d'histoire, trés agréable et trés bien entretenue. Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour paisible et isolé au milieu des champs d'oliviers. A noter qu'il est necessaire d'avoir un véhicule pour se deplacer ou faire des courses. Notre séjour s'est déroulé à merveille et Jesus était très disponible et serviable. Seul petit bémol, la piscine n'etait pas utilisable car fermée pour l'hiver. Il sera préférable de se renseigner auprés de l'hôte pour s'assurer que la piscine est utilisable. Mais il y a de nombreuses options pour se baigner dans les environs. Je recommande cette maison pour un séjour de déconnexion en Andalousie.

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour dans ce logement. Nous y étions à l'occasion d'une réunion familiale - nous étions 6 adultes et 5 enfants et étions vraiment à notre aise. La maison est super bien équipée et ne manque de rien. L'hôte est réactif et la communication est très bonne. Les instructions étaient très claires. Le check-out était flexible et nous avons pu rester jusqu'à après la sieste des bébés. Nous recommandons fortement ce logement. Notre seul regret est de ne pas avoir pu y rester plus longtemps!

Our stay in this beautiful house was simply perfect! The stylish and lovingly thought-out furnishings impressed us from the very first moment. Every room exudes a pleasant atmosphere in which you immediately feel at home. The many sunny spots around the house and the pool are particularly impressive - whether in the morning or late afternoon, there is always an idyllic place to relax in the sun and enjoy the peace and quiet. The surrounding area is just as dreamlike and we loved to explore El Torcál. All in all, it was an absolute oasis of well-being that we were reluctant to leave. A special THANK YOU to Lizzy, who lookes after the house and was always there to answer our questions. She knows the area, the people and even the animals in the area very well. So again- thank you for your warm hospitality - we will definitely be back!
