Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Storfjord Municipality

Vi hyrde huset av Sindre för att topptura i området. Nära till riktigt bra skogsåkning för stormdagar och nära till de södra sektorerna i lyngens guidebok. Framförallt nära till lakselvbukt. Bra bastu och jacuzzi! Rekommenderas!

This is a great and spacious family house with amazing views and reasonable distance to drive to hike in Lyngen Alps and then start driving back home to Finland from a closer point on our wayout back to Finland. The bathtub was a hit for kids after many days of travel and the Grandma got to warm the sauna: a wood burning sauna in a separate building (Finns: be careful with water getting on the floors, no lattiakaivo in the sauna), a trampoline and yard space for kids to play soccer. Neighbors's sheep with bells and a closeby river created a nice Alpine soundscape. Quick and friendly communication with the host.

We had a fantastic stay! Communication with Markus was excellent – quick, easy, and friendly. The house is beautiful and welcoming, with a spacious kitchen and living area that made us feel at home right away. We were five adults and loved how there was always space to retreat individually, yet it was also perfect for cooking and spending time together. Two of us slept in the renovated barn, which also serves as the sauna house, and three stayed in the two bedrooms in the main house – both spaces were cozy and comfortable. Some highlights: the sauna with neoprene shoes for cooling off in the sea, the incredibly comfy bedding (we even bought the same in Tromsø!), and the super well-equipped kitchen. A place to come back to – thank you, Markus!

Thomas is in tune with nature that he is surrounded by. It was truly an amazing experience to stay in the area and he made our stay so much better. He cooked for us fish he caught himself down in the fiord, truly amazing! He is very warm and welcoming host with lots of experience with people, mountains, ski activities and the surrounding area. His place is in located a little distance from Tromso but if you have a car it is very easy to get to. I wholeheartedly recommend!

This was a wonderful place to stay. The pictures do not represent the true beauty of this place. Frank is a great host and we are excited to come back. You can ski from the house or have a short drive to the classic lyngen skiis.

It was a wonderful cozy cabin in the woods. the lavatory facilities were good and the communikation with Raymond was great. He responded quickly and helfen to find everything needed.

This place truly feels like a family home not only is it warmly furnished, but it also has a beautiful soul. From the moment we stepped inside, we felt completely at ease and instantly at home. Every detail has been thoughtfully considered from batteries and pens to board games and a variety of candles. These may seem like small things, but when you’re staying in a home for a while, they become surprisingly essential. Their presence speaks volumes about the host’s kindness and hospitality. Everything was exactly as described.The key system, the dishwasher, the oven, the stove all easy to use and clearly explained. The house was clean, well-organized, and welcoming. After our intense trip to Svalbard, with its stunning Northern Lights and breathtaking nature, this home gave us the perfect place to rest and recharge both physically and emotionally. Thank you so much. We truly hope to return someday. With love.

Nous avons passé un magnifique séjour dans cet hébergement. Nous y sommes allés en hiver et le dépaysement est total. Le fait que les commodités sont limitées en hiver (pas d’eau courante, douche au seau) rend l’expérience encore plus unique. La cheminée dans la pièce principale et la vue magnifique sont deux atouts à ne pas négliger. De plus, l’hôte est très réactive et donne de bons conseils. Il y a aussi un grand nombre d’équipements et d’accessoires disponibles dans l’hébergement. Attention tout de même à l’accès à la cabane qui peut être compliqué selon la quantité de glace et de neige sur le chemin. Nous repartons de ce séjour les étoiles plein les yeux et reviendrons avec grand plaisir !

We wanted somewhere comfortable, warm with amazing views that was away from other people and private, but not totally remote. This cabin was perfect. We enjoyed watching the landscape change with the weather. You could see the Northern Lights on clear nights from inside the cabin, with mountains in the foreground. A great place for photography. The log burner was fantastic with an unlimited supply of logs and the WiFi was great. The cabin is in the region of the Lyngen Alps. Siri was an amazing host keeping us updated on conditions in the area when the weather changed. She let us know when there was a high risk of avalanches, when the road had been temporary closed and when there was no water in the whole area due to an avalanche. She told us where there was a collecting point for everyone locally to get fresh water from and arranged for someone to be there for us. The next day all was fine! This is life in Arctic Norway. We loved it! We would definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay at this cabin in Skibotn! The location is perfect—right in the middle of town, with easy access to the supermarket and petrol station. The cabin itself is spacious, well-equipped with all essential amenities, and has a warm, cozy vibe. Both the kitchen and bathroom were clean and well-maintained, making our stay comfortable. The check-in process was smooth, with flexible timings that added to the convenience. Another great perk is the ample parking space right outside the house, making it easy for those traveling by car. Overall, a fantastic place to stay in Skibotn—highly recommended!

This is a beautiful place. We stayed here last year and again this year. Frank and Heidi are wonderful and kind people. You can ski from the house and I highly recommend this place if you like tranquility and beautiful surroundings.
