Outside a fire pit and grill. A hand washing sink inside; and port-o-let toilet outside. You may be able to drive in (weather/road condition depending). We enjoyed the secluded, private and peaceful space. Great property to enjoy with manicured trails, two ponds and convenient amenities. Close to Pikes peak state park, Backbone state park, effigy national monument and tons of playgrounds. The space is as described, and everything you need for a visit away. Would recommend and would stay again.

This was our second time staying at this adorable cabin. When we first arrived, the electricity flickered off and on; in the morning we had no water. I started texting Jodi the night before and in the morning. She was quick to secure an electrician who had everything running by late afternoon. All was handled quickly and efficiently. We also met Jodi’s, her husband and brother-in-law. We feel like good friends

Our stay at the cottage felt like a true retreat from the city. It honestly was more than we expected. The peaceful surroundings were like no other property we’ve stayed in. 100% recommend staying here. I am blown away. First the view is breathtaking, there are so many different spots in the cabin, where you can see the trees , the river and the beautiful pond in the backyard. The cabin itself is gorgeous. The decor, the furniture, the linen, everything was perfect. The atmosphere was so quiet and peaceful . The hot tub was perfect . The beds were very comfortable, so were the couches to lounge on. Everything you could think of in the kitchen ,the linens were soft and cozy. They also provided items that you might have forgotten, like cotton spots, and dental floss. I just cannot get over how beautiful the setting was, if you are debating, staying here I would definitely recommend it. The host is very responsive and quick to reply with any questions or concerns you might ask . And even provided a link for fun things to do around the cabin if you choose to leave which to be honest, I found it very hard to. Will definitely be back.
