Fast boat calls from Bodø and Svolvær to Helnessund, bus connection to Brennvika.

Gammelstua at Storsæter Gård on Engeløya in Steigen

The Old House of our farm, charming house with a spectacular mountain wiew! The house is built about 1880, the bathroom and the kitchen is renovated. Here you can travel back in time, no tv.. The stairs scueecs, and the floor can be a bit cold in the winter, but all is forgotten when you fire up the fireplace. The island is perfect for hiking, biking and kajaking. Check in after 4 p.m, check out before 12 a.m. Transportation to or from the boat can be arranged. We wish you a peaceful stay.

Cottage with unique views

Here you can relax and recharge your batteries or you can be active. There is the possibility of several top tours in the area or you can rent a kayak/boat to see the islands that are in the area. There are also nice cycling opportunities around Engeløya. Cottage on 4 levels built in 2016/2017 so there are a few stairs both outside and inside. Situated on a hill and with roof terrace it gives nice view towards Lofoten and parts of Engeløya. There is a road all the way to the cabin.

The summerhouse in Steigberget

Back to the old days. Nostalgic and peaceful small cottage with simple standard. Living room with kitchenette + extra living room in attached room with a view 1 bedroom on the 2nd floor with low ceilings. The dishes are done in the "old way" in a tub, and water must be collected from the bathroom. Not wifi or TV. Find peace and enjoy the view. Nice hiking areas, beach and fire pits nearby. Guests do their own laundry, fees apply on the premises if it is not cleaned.

Røtnes is a beautiful bay on the stunning island of Engeløya, just opposite the Lofoten Islands. On the island you can find pristine, white beaches, mountains and valleys and the sea is crystal clear with plenty of fish. In our homestead we have a generous size barn where we have an artist studio, workshops and the guest studio apartment that we offer up as Air B&B. A wooden rowing boat, a canoe, kayaks and bikes to rent in spring, summer and autumn.

The house is centrally located in Helnessund, about 200 meters from the fast boat dock, shop and Nybrygga cafe. Lovely archipelago with white sandy beaches ideal for kayaking, fishing and boat trips. Nice and easily accessible mountain peaks nearby. 5 km to Norway's finest beach - Brennvikstranda. Nice little community. Cozy little house from 1952 with cherry garden and porch.
