Cozy and well-equipped home

Cozy apartment just 700 meters from Hamar train station. Free parking on the premises. The apartment holds everything one needs to have a plesent stay. Located peacefully to central on Hamar, between the train station and the Viking ship. Use of gas grill and fireplace must be agreed upon in beforehand. The apartment is regularly used by me, so the standard is high and the apartment is well equipped. Cleaning I take responsibility for myself, as that way I can guarantee a clean and tidy home to all guests. The final cleaning is included in the price.

The house is located just off Highway 222, which has moderate traffic. It is walking distance (about 1 km) to grocery store and railway station. The station is on the Dovrebanen, and there are both north and southbound departures every hour for most of the week.

It has a private entrance and private spacious patio, well suited for both meals and coziness. The apartment and its patio are east facing and have a morning sun The apartment is well equipped with everything you may need for a pleasant stay. There is a short distance to nice hiking areas in the summer and winter, and only a small drive down to Mjøsa. Walking distance to train & bus

Hanshagan homestead at Nøttestad Søndre farm

From July 2025, we can finally welcome to Hanshagan - an authentic homestead, closely restored in the 1920s style, but with modern comfort. The house has been recently restored with care: original materials are preserved, ancient craftsmanship traditions continued, and all with respect for the history of the place. Here you can experience life the way it was-without sacrificing warmth, hygiene, or convenience. Hanshagan is beautifully situated in Stange Vestbygd and offers views of fields, forest and Mjøsa.

Here you will have great access to a garden for activities such as axe throwing, cube and ball games. Rush down to the homestead in scenic fields or hikes out in the countryside. Great opportunities to take your bike with you for longer trips. If you want a trip to the city, Hamar is 12 km from us, with everything it has to offer. Dive from Norway's most expensive dive tower and take a dip in Mjøsa. If you want a smaller water with a better bath temperature, we'll show you the way.

The cottage is luxurious and fully equipped, with WiFi included. Bedding&towels can be rented for €20 per person.

Summer house

Our place is great for couples, solo travelers, adventurers, and families. The summer house is part of a 250-year-old farm in a secluded location, with several houses inhabited today by a German artist family. - Hourly train connections from Tangen to: Oslo (60 min.), Oslo Airport (25 min.), Lillehammer (40 min.) Take a trip to Sandvika, Ottestad and relax with family or good friends! If you’re heading to a concert, watching speed skating, a hockey game, or football match, it’s just 3 km to Hamar city center and 2 km to the Vikingskipet arena from the apartment. The bus stop for transport to Hamar city center is just a 2-minute walk from the apartment, with departures every 30 minutes during the day and every hour in the evening.
