Pet-friendly holiday rentals in St. John

This triplex, that amounts to a five bedroom, 4 bathroom house worked exceptionally well to accommodate my three friends and me…All appliances worked well and we literally did not have any problems whatsoever … it is a Very safe location way up in the mountain; so safe was it that we never had to be concerned about locking the doors, day or night… I recommend this location without reservation! I’ve stayed at a variety of Airbnb properties in St Thomas and Haagensen House is my favorite for its uniqueness and privacy. The property manager, Harold, met me near the airport to ensure I found my way - I encourage future renters to do the same as nav systems can be spotty on the island. The decor was refreshing and nailed the old town vibe of Charlotte Amalie - I loved the colors and wood details throughout. The entry garden is breathtaking and the expansive patio overlooking the water was such a pleasant surprise - I couldn’t believe it was all mine. The AC in the bedrooms worked well and at night, there was a nice breeze if you kept the doors open in the main space. The hosts are the NICEST people!! I travel with my small dog and finding dog friendly accommodations in STT is very difficult. We were welcomed with open arms. They were so thoughtful, following up to make sure we were settled okay and didn’t need anything. I cannot thank them enough for their hospitality

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in St. John. Isa was so friendly and welcoming, always offering helpful recommendations and suggestions. She always made sure we had everything we need. Her home is beautiful and was the perfect place to stay on the island. The place was peaceful and her artwork was stunning. We would absolutely come back and stay here again. Thanks Isa!

We had an absolutely wonderful time staying at this house. It exceeded our expectations, and the house was in excellent condition. The morning coffee on the patio was incredibly peaceful and relaxing. We loved the secluded location of the house, but it was still just a short drive to the beaches, restaurants, and stores. Baron was an amazing host who even gave us some mango and coconuts from his backyard. The three AC units in the house were a huge plus, and the fully stocked kitchen was a great convenience. We would love to return to the USVI and stay here again. 10/10.

Just wow!!! We’ve been coming to the islands for about 30 years, mostly staying in St. John… but the views from this villa were the best we have ever had! The villa was just extremely practical and homey! The king beds and cold AC helped us to recover from long days of hikes, snorkels, beaches, and shopping! The decor was so nice and we loved the live plants and orchids! We enjoyed the huge tv as we watched the college World Series in the evenings. The breezes through the villa were very relaxing! We will plan to come again! Thanks Michael for being so helpful, attentive, and quick to respond!

Absolutely beautiful views! The beds were comfortable and it was stocked with beach towels. There aren’t really any food options within walking distance so would recommend a trip to the grocery store which we did and the kitchen was well stocked. An important note is that during carnival the music does travel all the way up the mountain so it’s still quite loud in the main bedroom but that’s obviously only time of year specific and we had an excellent view of the fireworks!

This place was amazing. It was equipped with everything you need for your beach getaway. The pool was nice. The panoramic views were breathtaking. Plenty of privacy. I would recommend renting a bronco or a jeep while on the island it's very mountainous. especially getting to this house but you won't have any issues finding it. Also they drive in the left side of the road here so stay to the left! We decided to add a day to our stay and the host were quick to respond. lots of wildlife around the area iguana, deer, goats, and chickens. overall this place was well worth the price and we will be back.

This was a great play to stay with a really good layout. Nice to have two bedrooms on the same floor for a younger child, but then a downstairs room and game room for the older kids. Would definitely recommend this place! Very friendly staff as well!

Absolutely Perfect Stay at Just Peachy! Our stay at Just Peachy in St. John was nothing short of incredible! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the stunning views of the mountains and ocean—it truly felt like paradise. The villa itself was immaculate, beautifully designed, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing vacation. Melissa, our host, was phenomenal! She was incredibly responsive, always just a message away, and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect. Whether it was providing great local recommendations, answering any questions we had, or simply ensuring we felt at home, her hospitality was unmatched. Waking up to breathtaking sunrises, lounging on the patio with the cool island breeze, and enjoying the peaceful surroundings made this trip unforgettable. This property has everything we expected and more. It is more spacious than what the pictures show. Not only the bedrooms are big, but huge bathrooms and closets too. Family had good time. Highly recommended.

This house is in a great location at the top of the hill. Feels like a secret paradise get away with breathtaking views but conveniently close to down town. Yes air in the main living space would be nice, but we found air conditioning to be extremely rare on the island. The air in the bedrooms was wonderful. Washer and dryer were a nice bonus. Never had a problem with power, WiFi or water supply while there. Few locks and screens need repair which I alerted the owner to so they can be addressed for the next tenant, but did not impede our stay. We were Overall very pleased with the home. Pictures are very accurate!

We came to snorkel St. John & destress. The photos of Ted's villa don't begin to capture the beauty of the place. It's remarkably upkept and the host goes way above & beyond to make sure you have everything you need to enjoy the island. As others have said, it's amazingly peaceful and secluded. We hope to return again in the future.

This airbnb matched exactly to what I was expecting. It was a nice studio condo with outdoor space, nice pool and gorgeous views. Very close to Cruz Bay. Very happy with our trip.

My husband and friend stayed at Emily’s beautiful home the first week of October. Our stay was peaceful , comfortable and totally relaxing. The home had everything you need for a perfect vacation. The house is very large . Kitchen completely stocked with everything you need. Bedrooms very large with big comfortable beds . Bathrooms are extra large complete with everything you need . The pool was gorgeous with incredible views . The best part was the huge deck. We spent hours out these watching the sunrise and the most incredible views . Emily was a text away with any questions we had . I would recommend the home to all my friends and family . We will be back again .

Our group had an amazing time staying at Joys place. We are a very outdoorsy active group and after a day of snorkeling or hiking it was always nice coming back to her place for the amazing sunsets. You're super close to grocery stores restaurants equipment rentals shopping. Would absolutely recommend. Her and Chris were very quick and responsive with anything we needed.

Our first time to St John + we’re so glad we chose such a nice place to stay. David, the host, is very responsive + pleasant to communicate with. A few items to share: 1. As this was our first time we weren’t familiar with the roads + how steep + adventurous they are. David provided detailed directions but we managed to get turned around - so glad he replied within a minute of our message to him. He got us back on the right track! In preparation, review his directions + do not use an app. 2. The condo has the most incredible views. You’ll wake up to roosters as you look out over Cruz Bay. Stunning. The pool is less than a minute walk. 3. The condo itself is huge for 2 people. Favorite part was the 2nd bathroom (and we preferred the shower in the 2nd bath as the water pressure is better). The kitchen is well stocked. The TV is huge as well as the sectional couch. We were able to get caught up on Netflix shows after hanging on the beach each day.

Kim was amazing. Greeted us with a basket of goodies, gave great recommendations and let us know everything we needed to know about our stay there even down to details like putting sugar water on the balcony and you will see a little. yellow and black bird come for it…and it did! The unit had everything we needed. It was close to good restaurants. It was very peaceful. The balcony had a great breeze. We spent early mornings outside with coffee watching the birds and iguanas up in the trees. We saw a doe grazing on the property from up there too in the afternoon. Aiming to go back in the fall!

If you find yourself in St. John and want a beautiful secluded space with a great view, do not hesitate to stay here! The road getting up to it is extremely steep so if that is hard for you, that would be the only issue. Our jeep made the climb up and down no problem, but it was the steepest road I have ever been on! Other than that, the space is perfect for your homebase. I highly recommend Coffee on the porch for sunrise before your adventure of the day. A great clean space that just feels good to be in.

This was our first time to the island. The views on the patio are amazing. The air in both bedrooms cooled quickly when we came back to the villa in the evenings. Everything you needed for the beach was available too!

Kim’s place is AMAZING! The property was pristine! Easy to find, accessible to all the best spots on STJ, and a peaceful retreat after Long Beach days. AMENITIES LEVEL 1000! She has EVERYTHING you can possibly need for your trip and more. Ice trays, cooler, beach chairs, vacuum! As a single mom traveling with 2 kids she made it EASY. The parking area is one of the best! Her pool, beds, and balcony were the perfect retreat. We cooked meals each night and her kitchen had everything I needed to be able to do that. The bedrooms are private and comfortable. The pool and pool area was the perfect end of each day. My kids loved being able to jump in the pool after a good beach sand rinse. The sunsets are beautiful!!!! She was extremely responsive and helpful! We truly felt at home away from home and will be back! The frogs, birds, iguanas, and landscaping was beyond our expectations! Thanks Kim for an amazing stay!

Karen's place was the perfect spot for us to stay for our honeymoon. The view was absolutely breathtaking and honestly topped any other view we saw in the week that we were there. The fact that it was right outside our window was incredible! The space itself was cozy and had everything that we needed. We also were so happy that we stayed on the Coral Bay side of the island as it was peaceful yet still close enough to everything else that we wanted to do. The drive up and down from the house is a little bit jarring at first, but we quickly became accustomed to it. Four-wheel drive is a must! We would not hesitate to stay here again any time we return to St. John!
