Waterfront holiday rentals in St. George

Wonderful location and so spacious!!!

Our stay was absolutely wonderful. The location and accessibility is exactly what one would want for a stay Bequia. The house itself was beautiful, clean and very spacious. We had a wonderful stay and thank you to our host.

Vi bodde i leilighet 1 (1 soverom) som ligger i en del av 2 etasjen. Bildene samsvarte med hvordan leiligheten så ut. Vi opplevde at den var godt isolert og hørte ingen lyd fra naboene når vi var inne. Ellers er det et rolig og fint område. Som verten opplyste om er det ikke et fullverdig kjøkken, men grill og en kokeplate med gass. Terrassen med spisebord har utsikt over bassenget og skog. Også fin takterasse. Vi var ikke plaget av mye mygg. Vertinnen og manager svarte raskt og hyggelig på henvendelsene vi hadde. Svært kort vei til stranden, 70/80 meter. Fint å snorkle på den enden som er nærmest huset. I tillegg er det en tennisbane rett nede i veien som man kan leie. Vi fant info om det og mye annet som foregår via Bequia this week -nettsiden. Ca 25 min å gå inn til Port Elizabeth langs strendene og Belmont walkway. Det er flere restauranter i nærheten, og på Petra’s kan man normalt bestille brød til dagen etter. Vi bor her gjerne igjen!

We really enjoyed our stay. The apartment is spacious and well equipped. We really appreciated the AC. The balcony was huge and looks out over the sea/waterfront and local town. Loads of bars and restaurants very close by as well as shops, a supermarket, the ferry and taxis. Could not be a better location. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed to cook when we chose to. Cleo was really helpful and responsive and even allowed us to store some luggage which was really helpful. Set up for entering the apartment was clear and easy and security was good too. Overall highly recommend thanks Cleo 🙂

Cleo’s Serenity House was perfect, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We found the Queen Studio with Bathroom adequate for our short stay, the bed was very comfortable, our room and bathroom was clean and well furnished. The wall A/C and ceiling fan kept the room nice and cool. We did not use the pool, but it was beautiful and a man was there to clean it when we arrived, so it was very clean. We did use the rooftop patio for after dinner stargazing, it’s comfortable and a bonus to have such a nice space. Overall, we were extremely happy! Would stay there again. Cleo was a wonderful host, she responded to messages quickly and made sure we were greeted and taken care of. A+ all around!!!

Both Lorena and Elvin were very helpful and professional. Very nice place. Location is great but you need to be physically fit as it is very steep and difficult if you have walking difficulties.

My family of 4 had a wonderful stay in Cleo’s place. She was very responsive and even stored our luggage when we arrived way earlier than check in time. The beds were very comfortable, and the pool was a great bonus. The location was amazing. We even changed our vacation itinerary to extend our stay.

We had an incredible stay at the Palm House in Bequia. The owners went above and beyond—arranging transportation, sharing local recommendations, providing ferry information, and more. We felt completely safe and at ease throughout our visit. The views were absolutely breathtaking, and the pool was a perfect place to relax. We truly couldn’t have asked for better accommodations. Thank you for an unforgettable experience—we’re already looking forward to our next trip to St. Vincent!

Vi bodde 10 nätter hos Daffodil och hade en underbar vistelse där. Lugnt och skönt, fint rum och terrass vid havet. Om man vill äta där så kan jag varmt rekommendera både frukost och middag. Fri båt taxi över lilla bukten till underbar strand eller Port Elisabeth som det även är gångavstånd till. Bästa Daffodil är en underbar värd och vi vill mer än gärna åka tillbaka till till vackra Bequia igen och då kommer vi bo på Open Deck B&B hos Daffodil.

This was an excellent choice of location because it offered a full immersive experience in to the daily life of this friendly fishing community. There were many places to eat and drink and places to buy local foods and provisions and an ATM all within walking distance. With the beach at the back door and a restaurant and bar a few minutes walk away, what more would one want. Our hosts Marcia and Bert were very attentive and welcoming with a vast knowledge of the local area. We very much enjoyed our stay at Bagga Beach Cottage and were sad to leave. We would definitely return.

Bequia Island is amazing! I booked this house for my wife’s birthday and it was nothing short of fantastic. Anything I have to say that is negative would reflect more about the time of year that we traveled than anything to do with our stay. The layout and thoughtfulness of the home is spot on. You can sit out back by the pool and enjoy the beautifully landscaped peaceful garden OR you can sit out on the balcony and enjoy the view of the relentless ocean and take in the ocean air. You really have the best of both worlds. The temperature was warm and very humid so for me, sleeping was a bit tough but waking up to the sunset and ocean breeze every morning was amazing. There was a bit of a mosquito issue, only when sleeping. However, we remedied this. We traveled with an essential oil blend of lemongrass and peppermint and put that on before bed, utilized the mosquito net and made sure the ocean breeze was prominent in the bedroom. Problem solved! I would highly reccomend this place. if you are OK with no AC it is fantastic. The fans worked for us in keeping cool. The road to access the location might scare some foreigners however after a few trips it is not so bad. Finding the place can be difficult on Goggle maps however if you take mount pleasant road the turn into the place is the first on the left after the first switchback or U turn. Drive up a steep narrow road then right at the gate then left into the property.

The host was very nice and accommodating, with friendly neighbors. We ended up leaving a day early and were able to get some cash back, which we appreciated. The house was fine, but the AC was not working and it was quite hot in the rooms. The place has a great view, and it's a good location away from the main road.

Lovely property. Clean, tidy and surprisingly very cool, even without the AC. the fans in the bedrooms added with the breeze from up hight made for a very pleasant stay. the guys were exceptional helpful with directions. The property is only a very short drive from town, sand bar, bequia hotel etc The vista from the balcony is amazing, it gives you a full panoramic view of the bay.

We highly recommend the house. It was great to chill and absorb the truly amazing view.

If considering a trip to Bequia…hands down, Ohana house is a MUST stay!!! Everything, from being welcomed with fresh fruit and basic staples to the spa-like pool with its ocean view, is just perfect. The home is fabulous! The property provides multiple places to enjoy time with family and friends…..from multiple ocean view porches to idyllic exterior picnic table, hammock or fire pit gathering spaces. Sunsets were by far best watched from Ohana house. Kitchen is extremely well equipped with everything you could possibly need…to also include toaster, TWO forms of coffee brewing, blender and hot pot. One note, if you are a coffee drinker it’s best to pack some. We brought a pound of ground coffee in our carryon knowing that it’s difficult to find. Because the water to homes are rain water collected it isn’t drinkable. This was no problem since Alexa provides plenty of drinking water! That was a real life saver! All in all truly a great experience and the home was the highlight of the trip.
