Farmstay holiday rentals in St. Gallen

Slim pickings in this area so we were happy to find Mai and Thomas's place near Frauenfeld so we could be near to family we were visiting. All worked quite well and they were helpful in accommodating us six and a baby, including providing a crib. There are two bedroom areas with a queen and a twin in each, so three sleep in each room. Kitchen is small but fairly well-stocked. Dining room is ample with a large table. Single bathroom with barrier-free shower so water gets nearly all over the bathroom when you shower. Bath was well-stocked with soap, shampoo, etc. All in all it was a very good stay. Thanks!

Regula's apartment was super clean and had such and amazing view! It was so quiet at night and had a giant sky filled with stars. Convenient location and only a short drive to Appenzel. We used this place as a base camp to hike to the Schafler hut and Äscher. Regula was such a wonderful host and left us some delicious homemade jam upon our arrival. She gave us great recommendations and was super friendly. This was a highlight of our trip. If her apartment is available, book it!

Great location, close to the gondola up and down and 5 minutes from the village shop. Great view. Very large apartment. Simple but very well equipped. Lots of Duplo and games available. Ideal with kids. Magdi was a great hostess.

Overall, the place was very suitable. I'm used to a lot of space so coming to Europe (from Canada) there is always a bit of a sacrifice. Irene's place is very nice and has a great view but there are a few things you should know. First, it's an old boarding house with lots of stairs. You're staying on the top floor so you will have to carry your luggage up 5 flights of stairs. You have the entire space to yourself but Irene lives on the main floor. You're on the 3rd floor. There is laundry but it's in the basement and Irene charges 3 francs. Well worth it and you have pretty much exclusive access. The view is incredible and there is a little deck you can stand on and take in the view. Kitchen is new and has everything you need. Irene even left some bread, cheese, meats and yogurt out for me. The location is on a giant hill but so is most of Switzerland so nothing out of the ordinary. There is a small store up the street but most things require a vehicle to get around.

Beautiful authentic farm in a fantastic environment! The farm is relatively isolated in the pastures, we hiked a lot from the house. The surroundings of the farm offer a lot of play possibilities and the ping-pong table made available is a plus! The house is large and there is a closet filled with games and toys to occupy any rainy moments. Attention to people of high stature: the ceilings are low! A big thank you to our hosts for sharing this little piece of heaven!

We, a family with three children, had a very nice time in Marianne and Christoph's cozy cottage. As soon as I enter, the cabin is very clean. You can feel comfortable here immediately and the equipment leaves nothing to be desired. The view is breathtakingly beautiful and the tranquility immediately brings about relaxation. The house is surrounded by a huge meadow where the children can let off steam. The area is a good starting point for excursions Communication with Marianne was perfect. We also took the animals, especially the kitten, into our hearts. Thanks to Marianne and Christoph for sharing this wonderful place with guests. We'll be back!

The contact with Robert was straightforward, personal, helpful via AirBnB chat. For me, an ideal base for visiting Toggenburg (on foot and by public transport). Very quiet. Spacious room layout (bedroom, well-furnished kitchen, everything very clean). We (2 people) felt completely comfortable. Thank you! J

This was an amazing place and Nyree was very helpful and friendly throughout our stay. The family dog was extremely friendly and enjoyable to play around with. The view was amazing and it was a perfect stay.

Comfortable and very quiet chalet, good addresses given by the owner who is very friendly. For visits, a nearby train station for travel if you do not want to use your car.

Beautiful stay on a local farm! Airbnb is spacious and clean. A great place for children with goats and cows to see and plenty of toys to play with! Very close proximity to Saxer Lucke and other hiking in the area and Christine is a kind and helpful host!

Arrive & feel good!! You have enough space in the accommodation; I didn't feel cramped. You can retreat if you want or spend time outside on the small terrace in the hostess's garden with wonderful views. The kitchen is very clear & equipped with the essentials sufficient for everyday needs and offers a dining area directly in the same room. The surrounding area offers the opportunity to walk in the countryside right from the doorstep through forest & meadow. I felt very comfortable!!

All in all, the house and the stay with Alexandros was really a fantastic experience. The location is great, you are in the middle of nature, far away from any stress. The house was well equipped and had everything you needed. It was super clean and the beds were a dream. Communication was also smooth, fast and friendly. The only drawback was the car park. We travelled with two cars, which was unavoidable with 6 people. The house only has one car park, which is a 5-10 minute walk from the house, so you have to drag all your luggage to the house. The other car has to be parked in the village, which makes coordination a bit of a hassle. Nevertheless, I would definitely recommend this wonderful house to anyone!

I stayed at the apartment for almost 4 weeks and was very happy with my booking! Our hosts were very flexibel and friendly at our first meeting. Getting the key was no problem. The apartment is beautifully located with a gorgeous view!!! Only walking distance to bus and grocery store. Everything was clean and well kept. It truly made us feel like being in a cozy home for a longer stay. I would recommend the apartment to any couple or family wanting to stay short or longer stays in Malans!

I was very warmly received by Daniela and her dog My bike could be charged right in the garage. The small basement apartment was very tastefully furnished. The breakfast left nothing to be desired. I felt very welcome and comfortable and can only recommend this accommodation.

We had a great stay with our 8 months old baby. They provided a crib and a high chair for the little one and were very friendly and accommodating. Apartment was clean and well equipped, especially the kitchen amenities were amazing, it's like you are in your own home. There are nice hikes near by, some even directly from the house. The view from the balcony is amazing, you don't need to leave the house to feel like already in the middle of nature. The village has a supermarket and a few restaurants. We definitely recommend this place and would love to come back.
