The area is filled with deer and turkey. (No hunting allowed on the property.) In the Spring we have snagging, and crappie and bass bite year round. Located on pavement only 2 miles from 13 Highway, 5 minutes from the Sac Osage River (and a freshly dredged boat ramp), and 7 minutes from Osceola. Come relax and enjoy!

Our newly remodeled century farmhouse is conveniently located just 1 mile outside Appleton City. You can experience the country but are still close to town. We have bedrooms upstairs so the kids can have their own space. We have basketball and other outdoor sports for kids. Wifi is available. We are close to the ballfield, tennis court and swimming pool. There is plenty of parking space. We also have a small firepit available. Plenty of room to sit and relax outside and enjoy the country.

Truman Lake Cabin Super Clean "Private" Getaway!

Quiet serene location! Our personal cabin is located just 400 yards from Truman Lake. Short walk to the cove for wildlife viewing or Higgins' Landing boat launch is just across the highway, and has plenty of parking for vehicle/s, boat trailer, and great bank fishing. Clinton and Warsaw are a 30 min drive, and Iconium is a 12 min drive. Don't forget to look around in the lake feeder creeks, lot's of arrowheads in the area. We now have super fast WI-FI!

This is a neat little spot. Definitely felt like an old west hotel in terms of decor. Simple room and to the point. Comfy bed. I know this town since I'm from the area, but there's good printed info in the room for the local spots to check out. On the town square, so great if you're visiting for a car show! Easy parking (I was in a Uhaul).

If you're looking for historic charm, the commercial hotel fits the bill. Just to note some rooms share a public restroom. It was not an issue, but you should ask before booking. Robert was responsive and attentive, we had no issues. It was a wonderful weekend.

This is a lovely little town and a wonderful little hotel! I really enjoyed the coziness and how at home I felt! The surrounding area is full of amazing beautiful scenery! I highly recommend checking out the area! and I highly recommend the hotel! Wonderful hosts! I will definitely be back!
