Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Spiekeroog

A wonderful accommodation that exceeded the description as well as the photos of the offer. We were there with 7 adults, all had generous space and it was just great. The house is so tastefully furnished and thoughtful, functional, cozy, warm and chic .... you can't find it better. The garden is certainly around 1500 square meters, something grows in each, there is a bench, a table, a sandbox, a hammock.... We've been to many accommodations, but this really exceeded our expectations. A very clear recommendation and a heartfelt thank you for these wonderful days!

We felt very comfortable. The house has something embracing and yet offers enough space. One could say that the love of detail makes everything very lively. Everything very well and clean. It was a fantastic accommodation, no human soul there, whether dog or human we could move freely. Everything was clean and everything you need was there. We felt very comfortable. The hot tub was the absolute highlight:-))) Will definitely be back

The house is wonderfully located on a small Siel with evening sun in the garden - wonderful! The decor is stylish and chic. The kitchen is very well equipped and even in the rain you can eat outside under a roof on the terrace. It is a stone's throw to the Petkum ferry (there are good fish sandwiches) and you can quickly reach Emden after a short bike ride along the canal. All around a very great accommodation, which I can only recommend.

We were 2 families with 4 children and had a wonderful time. The property has plenty of space. The quiet location is great for relaxing and the children love the well-kept play barn. Everything is in great condition and very well maintained. We will be happy to come back!

Beautiful home and incredibly friendly people helpful and very welcoming. But one note if you have a dog you have to look for a place to let them run freely. Incidentally, a big thumb!!!!

This place is a real East Frisian gem! We were here over Christmas and felt super comfortable. The view is fantastic. While cooking for the family, you can see the big sea. Kitchen is well equipped, we lacked nothing even when cooking Christmas dinner. In the evening we sat by the fireplace and in the morning we enjoyed the first rays of sun with coffee and a chat on the terrace. The accommodation has a playfully and sensibly furnished children's room (which our daughter loved). There was no demand for the TV. In general, there is plenty of storage space and everything was very clean and well maintained. We noticed that attention was paid to quality here. From the slippers to the bed linens, everything was great. We will be happy to come back!

We were able to spend four wonderful days with our family at Jörg's farm. The vacation home is lovingly furnished, sparkling clean and well equipped – we slept like babies and felt comfortable from the first moment. The large swimming pond was our highlight: swimming, boating, relaxing - simply fantastic! Our son Karlo was allowed to help with the farm work, collect eggs, drive the tractor and even choose geese - a real adventure. We were also allowed to use the pizza oven, grill, farm shop and ebikes. Jörg is a great host: open, helpful, humorous – and at the same time pleasantly reserved if you prefer to be on your own. We really appreciated his tips about the North Sea coast. It was a very special stay for us in a place that is run with a lot of heart. Dear Jörg, thank you for your hospitality! You have created a unique place and we hope to come back soon. :)

Beautiful old villa, generous space, nicely furnished apartment. Loved it. From there you could start some activities. Whether on foot, by bus (bus stop just a stone's throw away) or by private car. The folder prepared by Heino with the description of the history of the house, the possibilities for things to do in the area or even the tips on recommended restaurants was very helpful. We also had fantastic weather during the week, which rounded off the stay even more.

We had a lovely week with our two children (5 and 8 years) in the cottage on the Schildmeer. We were able to swim almost every day and otherwise explored the surroundings (Groningen, Appingedam, Delfzijl). The amenities are better than indicated: there is toilet paper, hand soap, hand and tea towels and a large selection of cooking utensils and spices in the kitchen. There is no oven, but a microwave where we prepared our casserole. We had a good time and say thank you very much!

We were expecting a spacious house in the 60s/70s style with an equally large property. All rooms and the garden are really huge, this one is also really beautiful. The house is right on the west coast clinic, walking distance to beautiful downtown. We didn't lack anything in terms of amenities. We felt like we were immersed in a strange family life and treated everything with respect.

We had a great week. Hosts are very friendly and helpful! The house has everything you need and is very cozy.

The Reethaus is beautiful and decorated with a lot of love. The sleeping alcove directly under the roof is super cozy, we felt very comfortable. Everything you need is available in the apartment. Christopher is very warm and attentive. Thank you for the wonderful time, pure relaxation!

We had a wonderful stay at Margriet’s place. Everything was just as described — clean, cozy, and well-equipped with everything we needed. The apartment had a warm and welcoming feel to it, and we really appreciated the personal touches: Margriet had prepared fresh strawberries, a bottle of Prosecco, and a few local treats for us — such a kind gesture that made us feel at home right away. We really enjoyed spending time on the water — using the SUPs and kayaks was definitely one of the highlights. The area is calm and relaxing, a great spot to take a break from the everyday. One thing to be aware of: you can’t park directly at the accommodation, so you’ll need to carry your things a short distance. But there are pull carts available, which help a lot — and it’s absolutely manageable. Communication with Margriet was easy and pleasant throughout. We had a great time and would definitely come back. Thanks again for everything!
