Nature eco lodge holiday rentals in Southern Europe

This is an amazing place to stay. The area is so incredibly peaceful and I loved walking down the mountain road each day to take a swim in the river in a totally secluded place. The room was clean and comfortable. Aicha’s Korean food is absolutely delicious and the fresh bread being made by the ladies across the street is incredible too. I had such a wonderful time here.

Chantal is a very polite host and everything was fine at our stay. The maison is a great place for people which like nature, the silence of the French countryside or outdoor activities. A car is recommended.

Propriétaire très réactive elle a répondu très rapidement à toutes nos questions et demandes. Nous avons pu récupérer les clés dès le matin pour permettre d aller au Puy du fou tranquillement. Je recommande fortement et reviendrai avec plaisir.

Aardige host, oud maar authentiek en verzorgd huis. Roberto was erg aardig en dacht met ons mee voor oplossingen. Er is een huiskat Dakota, die houdt van aandacht!

We had a wonderful stay at Il Cielo. It was very clean and the bed was amazing. We slept very well because it was really quiet. We loved the outside kitchen and the big garden (with very comfortable chairs! Always a big plus). The surroundings are beautiful and there are good restaurants nearby. Michèle is very kind and attentive. She gave us a lot of good tips on what to do in the area, which was very nice. She also has a very cute and energetic dog that loves cuddles, which was definitely a bonus!

We really enjoyed our stay at Monte da Choça. Rudolfo was always ready with help, a good story or good suggestions on where to go. We had some issues in the beginning but it was quickly solved and Rudolfo was very responsive. We enjoyed the very clean pool a lot, feeding the animals every morning, petting the super cute dogs and cats, and our son really liked the games and the bicycle available, and we spend a lot of time just roaming the grounds. The hotel is placed in a very pretty nature setting and only 10 mins drive away from some of the most breathtaking beaches we have ever visited. We would love to come again one day.

Estuvimos un fin de semana mis amigos y yo. Tanto Maxi como Nicol han sido muy buenos anfitriones, muy amables, atentos y simpáticos. El sitio esta lleno de naturaleza para poder desconectar e ir a pasear. Sitio perfecto para ir a pasar unos días en verano. Desayuno muy bueno. Repetiremos!

Giovanna is such a warm and lovely host. You can really tell she cares about making her guests feel at home. Every morning she offered all kinds of breakfast treats from granola to pancakes. She also had great tips for exploring the area and finding the best routes to the Etna. The tiny house itself is super cozy and decorated with so much love. For us it was a perfect stay and we would totally recommend staying here!

Nous avons passés un séjour incroyable. Amandine et Vincent étaient très agréables, accueillants, toujours à disposition et surtout très discrets ! C’était un réel plaisir de pouvoir entièrement profiter de la piscine en toute intimité. Le logement était comme sur les photos en surpassant même nos attentes. Merci pour ce séjour, je recommande les yeux fermés !

Wir waren zwei Nächte in der Unterkunft und hatten einen super Aufenthalt. Wir können den Glamping-Platz sehr empfehlen. Außerdem sind die Gastgeber sehr lieb und hilfsbereit. Wir haben es bereut nur zwei Nächte dort zu verbringen und kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Il soggiorno da Karen e Marco è stato fantastico! Un'oasi di pace immersa nel verde. La casa e il giardino sono bellissimi, curati in ogni dettaglio. I proprietari ci hanno fatto sentire come a casa! La camera è accogliente, adatta ad una coppia con un bambino piccolo. Speriamo di tornare in estate per poter sfruttare la bellissima piscina!

Das Zimmer ist wunderschön. Die Gegend ist wirklich schön und es gibt viel zu erleben! Aber das besonderste ist Michaela. Sie ist eine großartige und unglaublich liebe, freundliche Gastgeberin. Wir haben uns wie zuhause gefühlt und sehr schöne Erinnerungen gesammelt. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder! Eine riesige Empfehlung! 😊

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt bei Vladeta - sie bieten eine rustikale, naturnahe und sehr authentische Unterkunft um in den Bergen von Montenegro ein wenig Höhenluft zu schnuppern. Wir wurden liebevoll empfangen und auf unsere Bedürfnisse (vegetarisches Abendessen) wurde ohne Probleme eingegangen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Paraíso en Galicia, todo estaba perfecto y si algo no estuviese lo suficientemente bien, Teresa lo solucionaba. Completamente encantados.

Der Aufenthalt bei Ignazio war super schön! Das Grundstück ist ein Traum und wurde mit viel Liebe zum Detail hergerichtet. Es gibt unzählige Ecken, um die Seele baumeln lassen und die Pool Area ist auch sehr stylisch und perfekt zum abkühlen und entspannen. Unser Zimmer war sehr sauber und gemütlich eingerichtet, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Sogar ein sehr umfangreiches Frühstück ist inkludiert. Ignazio ist ein sehr netter, entspannter und hilfsbereiter Host. Wir würden jedem diese Unterkunft empfehlen!

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour chez Christine. Le logement est très calme et reposant. La table de d’hôte était un vrai plus avec les bons petits plats de Cyril et Marion. Nous reviendrons volontiers dans ce petit cocon.

We had an absolutely incredible stay! Giulio went above and beyond to make our stay special, including catering to dietary requirements etc. I would recommend this stay to anyone! It’s far better than even the photos. Would love to come back!

Beautiful! Still breath taken by the scenery around. And the place itself was just perfect. As a sign said: simple on the inside, luxury on the outside (or something like that). Very easy to check in and out. Shower and toilets clean and very accessible. The hosts were friendly and helpful. Bar and restaurant really nice and prices good. Would highly recommend (and I definitely want to go back some time!) 🏔️

Nous avons été très bien accueilli. Nous avons passé un agréable séjour . Jacqueline est très à l’écoute et disponible . De plus, notre chien a été très bien accueilli, ce qui n’est pas le cas partout . Le petit déjeuner est le café est compris . Super !

We had a wonderful 2-day stay at Milan’s place in Foča. The location is absolutely stunning—surrounded by peaceful nature, with the sound of the river in the background creating a truly relaxing atmosphere. It was the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy some outdoor adventure, especially the water rafting, which was an unforgettable experience. The accommodation was comfortable and well-suited to the natural setting. Just be aware that, as with any place close to nature, there were a few insects and spiders around—but nothing unexpected for the area. Milan was a friendly and accommodating host, and we’d definitely recommend this stay to anyone looking to reconnect with nature and enjoy some adventure in a serene environment.

Wow, David’s place is incredible. The surf camp was a peaceful oasis -very comfortable and beautiful! David and the folks working there are so kind and friendly. Overall, it’s an amazing place, right on a surf break and along lovely hikes. I’d highly recommend to those searching for a laid back, beachfront stay that’s off the beaten path.
