Holiday rentals in Southern Aegean

This is one of the most wonderful airbnbs I have stayed in. So charming and wonderful. Talila is such a kind and gracious host, happy to chat but not imposing. If you don’t like cats, this may not be the place for you. We love cats and knew that there were many. They’re all friendly and not imposing unless you show you want to pet them. The details are wonderful, AC was great, shower was just wonderful with no shortage of hot water. There are beach towels and extra bath towels provided which was a thoughtful touch. We could have stayed for a month we were so comfortable. It was idyllic. Be sure to hike to the church on the next beach down and eat at the second restaurant on that beach (they open at noon-their Sifnos chickpea soup and lamb dishes were unreal). We also loved Angie’s Taverna! There is a small mini mart -cafe that is walkable. There is a bit of a trek to get to the house including a bit of beach, so travel light-ish here. We just loved it and Sifnos.

What a wonderful place to escape to. A beautiful home, amazing views, wonderful pool and hot tub. Very clean and well cared for. Saavas was incredibly helpful and friendly & accommodating. Can’t fault it at all. In fact I feel very lucky to have found these four nights as it’s booked up way in advance normally. A tiny piece of paradise. Taverna was closed next door but that just made it more peaceful (maybe noisier if open but still private) - such an interesting time of year before the season started - watching all the Greeks get everything ready for the season! Pool was cold but the hot tub was amazing and warm so was a great balance. Easter was a lovely time to visit especially as very lucky with the weather. Did get eaten alive the first night so beware of mosquitos but we found the special plugs, & were more cautious after that. Maybe it was early season, maybe the recent rain. Loved the Swallows and house martins that flew over for a period morning and evening Perfect…

Location was great - in the heart of Oia but above the main busy walking street. The host, Faye, was very helpful in providing local recommendations that were accessible and also more local. (There are SO many restaurants in the area) Dimitris was also really helpful with our luggage, especially amidst the harrowing mid day crowds. They met up with us immediately when we arrived and communication was clear and prompt. The home was really special, and with both indoor and outdoor pool and a beautiful view of the sea. Great touch with the bottle of wine and local gifts too! We felt very well taken care of and our every need was thought of. Would definitely recommend!

Such a beautiful view, so peaceful and private. There is a restaurant next door but. There is a divider between allowing you to still maintain privacy. I loved this space, perfect location. Host was responsive and very helpful! I would recommend!!!

Dimitra’s place felt like home the moment we walked in. Very remote and peaceful part of the island, far from where most tourists stay, yet with enough restaurants and bars nearby (on the beach or in Komi). The house has all the amenities you could imagine, we didn’t miss a thing!

We had an amazing stay at Symphony Suites. The view was unbelievable from our balcony and the breakfast every morning was also the perfect way for us to start each day. We had a wonderful time and can’t wait to come back!

It was the best airbnb experience I had. The property it self and it’s location is like a dream. You wake up in heaven. The house is like one of those AI generated dream houses we see on social media. Direct access to the most beautiful beach by stairs from house, very spacious, spotlessly clean… the equipment is in such good condition as if we were the first ones to use them. The house offers great privacy ehich is a rare thing for most boat houses in Milos. You have your own terrace and sunbathing spot. We didn’t want to leave the house for restaurants beause it was the best spot to dine already. Yiannis was an amazing host. He filled the fridge with so many nice food that we didn’t even need to shop for grocery. He gave local advice, asked if needed anything every day. He made us feel home by his warm Greek hospitality. If you’re planning for Milos don’t look into anywhere else and book this property right away.

Compared to the cost of novelty hotels and resorts on Santorini, getting a Villa like this was the move! it is on the southwestern tip of the island, but with a car everything was within a 20-45min drive. Was half the price of getting 2 hotel rooms in Fira or Oia, and you get a giant villa! infinity pool was awesome. stayed warm surprisingly. there are actually TWO hot tubs that the pictures actually undersell and don't do justice. they are like inground mini pools with benches. Only probably 90-94degrees though. but still comfortable to sit in at night and stare and the stars and the lights shimmering from rest of island. the sunset and views here are 💯! really close to black sand beach (17min drive), red beach not far, and white beach (15-20min). breakfast delivered every morning is really good and fresh. bathrooms and showers plentiful. Only downside is how the upstairs area and location on island turns the upstairs terrace into a wind tunnel. but all islands get windy!
