James's house is beautiful and perfect for a group or family stay. It’s not easy to find a place in Seoul with three toilets—such a bonus! The house is in excellent condition, clean, and very comfortable. James is extremely friendly and responsive, the kind of host you can truly rely on. On our first day, he even surprised us with a box of donuts, which was so thoughtful! The location is also perfect. Hongdae is a very lively and happening area, but James’s place is just a short step away. So after a fun and busy day out, you can come back and relax in a peaceful, quiet neighborhood. I’ll definitely come back the next time I visit Seoul. Everything was just perfect!

We were on a family holiday with our grown up children and their partners. We had such an incredible few days here. Any query was dealt with immediately - the first night was really hot and the owner came round to find some fans for the bedrooms. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and the area is so fun, but the house is set off the main road so is extremely quiet and peaceful - a haven to come back to after busy days of sightseeing. Thank you for making our stay in Seoul so memorable.

Great responsive hosts and beautiful newly renovated property. Some tweaks here and there can still be done, but this is an amazing value for location, space and appliances that you are getting. Would definitely recommend and book again if I every come back to that part of Seoul. Solid 9.5/10.

It was a pleasant stay and host James was there to receive us and guided us clearly on the amenities. The rooms are nice and clean and provided good space for our party of 6. Located near a park and well known Hongdae area with a lot of restaurants and shops. convenient walk to the subway Hongik Univ. Station.

Central location, great hosts, lovely place. Very proactive to troubleshoot and problem solve also. Our room’s blinds were not working and as the sun rose about 4+am daily, and was disruptive for my son but the hosts quickly bought blackout curtains to replace. Location wise was very central but one thing to note it’s quite a walk uphill back. most of Seoul’s housing is like that, but if you have elderly it may be something to note. Overall we loved the place and we’re so glad we chose to stay here as a family over a hotel as it felt much like home.

9개월 아기랑 대가족 여행 다녀왔는데 호스트분이 너무 세심하게 다 준비해주셔서 정말 편안히 머물다 왔어요 가족들 모두 만족할만큼 최고였습니다!! 감성, 뷰는 물론이고 청결, 쾌적함까지…정말 좋았어요

가족행사를 겸하여 샬레와 동시에 예약을 했습니다. 버스정류장도 바로 앞에 있어 숙소까지 교통편이 좋은거 같아요. 외관은 한옥 본연의 멋을 그대로 남겨 고즈넉함을 느낄 수 있었고 마루에 앉아서 바라본 넓은 마당과 풍경은 서울 도심에서 쉽게 볼 수 없는 아주 멋진 풍경이였습니다. 특히 밤에 보이는 한옥과 풍경이 너무 멋져서 아직도 기억에 남습니다. 같이간 일행들도 너무 만족해 다음번에도 기회가 된가면 또 머물고 싶은 숙소에요.

My friends and I had a great stay here! We all loved the property’s modern hanok vibes. The location was good. It was a bit further away from the busy part of myeongdong but close to seoul station which made it very easy to get around. Thank you so much for having us :)

가족끼리 좋은 시간 보내었습니다 연락도 빨리 빨리 잘되어서 좋았고 다음에도 시간이 된다면 또 이용하겠습니다

대규모 가족이나 두 세 가족이 함께 하는 여행숙소로 너무 좋네요! 아이까지 9명 모두가 만족한 숙소였습니다 엄청 넓고, 자유롭게 놀고 먹고 쉴 수 있는 곳이예요. 아이들이 있다면 더욱 강추! 사장님 너무 친절! 감사합니다.

숙소 근처에 24시간 편의점도 있고 좋았습니다! 무엇보다도 방문하려는 과정에서 단체로 사정이 생겨서 날짜를 변경했어야 했는데, 잘 이해해주셔서 너무 편안히 잘 쉬다 갑니다 :)

경주에서 제일 볼거리, 식당들 많은 곳에 숙소가 위치해있어서 구경하기 너무 편리해요. 숙소도 예쁘고 에어컨도 잘나와서 불편함없이 쉬다갑니다. ^^

Sooyaa is definitely a good and kind host. Texted her late into the night to help retrieve my belongings left behind in the uber car. She sportingly helped me made the call and arrangements with absolutely no qualms. Lovely lady host lovely home abode that's more than 80 yrs old! Our first time residing in a hanok. It's very cool.

Everything is near perfect but just take note apartment is on level 3 & 2 with no access to elevator so carry your suitcase up and down during check in and check out. Beds are not the plush with thick comforter during summer. A thin , rather rough mattress topper cloth is provided. Bedsheet is a thin sheet placed on top of a waterproof mattress protector so u get a rather plastic feeling on the bed. Everyone gets only 1 large bath towel for our 6 days trip but upon request, Carrie passed us more. Dryer has little heat so wet clothes can’t really dry. The water in the middle toilet has inconsistent water flow n middle toilet door lock was damaged by previous occupant so we couldn’t close the toilet door when showering. Carrie was apologetic about it so not her fault. Above all these, Carrie is the best host u can get. She provided travel adapter, multi plug extension and even allowed us to store luggage FOc & helped us carry in apt.Carrie tries her best to make your stay comfortable ?

20명 대가족이 가서 이용했는데, 다들 대만족입니다. 숙소 들어가는 길이 순간 외길이라 좀 당황했지만. 그 길은 짧기에 아무 문제없었네요. 깔끔한 정리와 친절한 안내, 조용한 환경등 모든 것이 다 좋았어요. 80대 부모님부터, 40~50대 우리들도, 20대 10대 조카들도 만족한 숙소. 특히 탁구대가 있어 더 신나게 놀았네요

We are a family of eight with two small children. The kids loved the place as there was space for them to run around. The place is big enough for eight of us to stay comfortably and the host is very responsive and helpful. Would recommend anyone visiting Aewol to stay here!

먼저 체크인시간때문에 청소중에 연락드려서 죄송했어요 숙소는 여러후기들처럼 좋은점이 참 많은 숙소였어요 하지만 근처에 축사가 있어서 마당까지 냄새가 나서 바베큐장이용할때 불편했습니다 바람불때 마다 냄새가 많이 나네요 주방이 2층에 있다는걸 알았지만 1층이나 바베큐장 가까이에 냉장고가 있으면 좋을것같네요 1층에 냉장고 식탁 2층에 소파가 있으면 더 나을것같은 생각이 들어요

가족들과 내집처럼 편안하게 있기 좋았습니다. 호스트님도 번거로운 부탁 기꺼이 응해주셔서 더욱 편안했습니다.

친구들 모임에 사는곳 딱 중간지점이 충주라 이 곳에 숙박하게 되었습니다. 성인 8명에 아이2명 예정이었는데, 아이들이 전날 아파서 성인 7명만 숙박하였습니다. 일단 숙소가 넓어서 좋았습니다. 숙소 설명을 좀 하자면.. 1층에 방 3개, 침대방2개에 침대방 한개에는 욕실 딸려있음. 2층에 방 1.5개? 방이 2개인데 방 하나는 다른방을 통해 들어가야 하고, 안쪽 방에는 어린이놀이용품과 책등이 있음. 에어컨은 2층엔 다 있고, 1층엔 거실과 욕실딸린 방에 하나씩 있음. 욕실은 거실에 하나 욕실딸린 방에 하나 총 두개, 깨끗하고 수건 넉넉히 있음. 주방엔 집기류들 필요한건 다 있고 그릇, 냄비등 넉넉함. 기본 양념들 조금씩 있음. 외부엔 텃밭과 잔디밭 넓게 있음. 테라스에 긴 테이블과 바베큐그릴 2개(드럼통식과 웨버그릴) 바베큐장과 주방 연결되어 있어 사용하기 편리함. 모기약을 사갔는데, 티비장에 방마다 꽃을 수 있는 홈매트 하나씩 다 있음. 전체적으로 숙소 컨디션 좋고, 깨끗하고 넓었음. 고려해야 할 점. 도로에서 진입하는 도로의 경사가 가파름. 승용차는 주의해야 할 것 같음. 현관에서 곰팡이 냄새가 좀 남. 외진곳에 위치해 시내나 다른 관광지 방문시 오래걸림. 저희는 다들 만족하며 1박했습니다. 아이들이 왔으면 더 좋아했을것 같아요~ 다음에도 모임하게 되면 또 예약하고 싶습니다~ 잘 쉬고 잘 놀다 갑니다~

11명의 대가족이 모두 만족한 최고의 힐링 펜션! 어머니 칠순 기념으로 딱이에요 어머니 칠순을 기념해 11명의 대가족이 양평 ‘펜션안시’에서 특별한 여행을 다녀왔습니다. 2층 독채 펜션이라 프라이빗하고 넓은 공간이 충분해서 아이들부터 어른들까지 모두 편안하게 지낼 수 있었어요. 남한강이 한눈에 보이는 뷰와 여유롭게 즐길 수 있는 수영장 덕분에 진짜 힐링이 무엇인지 제대로 느꼈습니다. 무엇보다도 가족 모두가 한마음으로 “내년에도 또 오자!”고 말할 정도로 만족했어요. 숙소 곳곳에 주인의 정성과 센스가 느껴졌고, 깔끔한 시설과 감각적인 인테리어도 인상 깊었습니다. 가족행사나 기념일 여행지로 정말 강력 추천드립니다. 우리 가족에게 잊지 못할 추억을 선물해준 곳이에요. 다음에도 꼭 다시 방문할게요 :)

Beautiful location directly on the shore! The place is awesome in itself, but what really makes it great is the unbeatable view dyring sunrise and at dawn! Highly recommended if you plan to go to Jeju!

Really enjoyed our stay. The place is clean and nice. We liked that it had so many beds and they were fairly comfortable too. The little patio area with the floor to ceiling windows is amazing. So wonderful to enjoy morning coffee out there or a drink at the end of the day and people watch from the 10th floor. Host was very communicative and kind. We liked that there was a water purifier in the kitchen. Location is good in that it is close to the beach and Haundae is a nice/fun neighborhood. I didn’t fully appreciate though that this beach is at least an hour from Busan Station, Gamcheon Cultural Village, the fish market, gukje market, etc (by subway). Still it was a peaceful location, the condo was great, and we were very happy with our stay. Thank you!
