Holiday rentals with a fire pit in South Holland

Wir wurde sehr herzlich von Karin und ihrem Mann empfangen und auch der Kontakt während unseres Aufenthaltes dort war sehr angenehm! Vielen Dank! Die beiden waren sehr flexibel mit den check-in/check-out Zeiten. Das Haus war sehr sauber und es hat an Nichts gefehlt. Es ist sehr ruhig gelegen und man kann tolle Ausflüge mit dem Fahrrad machen.Durch die schönen Blumenfelder zu radeln war traumhaft! Auch die Ausflüge zum Strand/Meer kann man gut mit dem Rad machen. Dort hat es tolle Beach Clubs mit leckerem Essen. Auch das nahe gelegene Städtchen Leiden lohnt es zu besuchen. So wie Delft, Haarlem oder Utrecht. Alles gut mit dem Auto erreichbar.

The house was very well equipped for a family gathering. The kitchen was great for preparing family meals. We were 8 for part of our stay and the large dining room and lounge were ideal for our group. You do need a car or bike to get into Abcoude. Frustratingly parking in Abcoude is not good with 2 hour time limit so bit of a hassle to go to Amsterdam by train as required parking quite a distance from the station and walking but we figured a way that worked for us. The little restaurant next door is busy particularly at weekends but is handy for a bite to eat or a drink. The house has a lovely countryside setting which suited us but does come with drawbacks for example the WiFi isn’t great and the abundant bird life can be ‘messy’ but that’s nature😊 Would definitely stay again.

Wir waren mit vier Erwachsenen bei Els und haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Der Bungalow ist genau wie auf den Fotos und entspricht den Beschreibungen. Die Umgebung ist ruhig. Schnell ist man in Noordwiyk und am Meer. Auch Noordwikerhout hat uns gut gefallen. Es ist ein nettes kleines Örtchen mit Einkaufmöglichkeiten. Wenn Fragen aufkamen, hat Els diese sehr schnell beantwortet. Von uns Vieren eine volle Empfehlung. Wir werden bestimmt wiederkommen.

Een heel leuk huisje en mooi gelegen, zeker als je van rust houd. Hoewel het ook een rustig plekje is, is Amsterdam goed bereikbaar met een uber of zelf met de auto. De fietsen die je erbij krijgt zijn ook erg handig als je eventjes boodschappen wilt doen of gewoon een lekker stukje wilt fietsen. De gastheer/dame zijn ook super vriendelijk en reageren vaak erg snel! Toen wij iets eerder wilde inchecken dachten ze ook mee met onze planning en konden wij de spullen al eerder brengen. Al met al een wel verdiende 5 sterren!

Die Unterkunft und die Gastgeber:in sind der Hammer! Lisette ist die tollste Gastgeberin, die man sich vorstellen kann. Wir haben abwechslungsreiches Frühstück mit beispielsweise selbstgebackenem Brot, Jogurt und Eier bekommen. Es wurde in einem extra Raum ganz toll hergerichtet. Die Kommunikation mit Lisette war schnell und unkompliziert. Die Unterkunft war sauber und schön eingerichtet. Sie ist ein toller Ausgangspunkt, um nach Delft, Den Haag oder ans Meer (wir waren am Monster Beach) zu fahren. Das Wetter war bei uns nicht so toll, aber dafür konnten wir im gemütlichen Wohnzimmer viel lesen 🤓 Die drei Tage waren Erholung pur! Danke!

We came with 4 people and left with 4 very content, slightly soggy souls. Yes, it rained, but this artsy little haven made us forget all about the weather. The house is full of quirky character—think spiral staircases, secret bunk beds behind red doors, and furniture that has a better backstory than we do. The hosts are clearly creative geniuses with a hammer in one hand and a paintbrush in the other. Every corner tells a story. Would we come back? Absolutely. Next time hopefully with sunscreen instead of rain boots.

Wir waren mit 2 Hunden vor Ort und hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit. Die Unterkunft war sauber und entsprach der Beschreibung. Für uns war es die ideale Unterkunft und kommen in Zukunft gerne wieder.

Dila was kind enough to receive me way before check in time to show me around! Very patient with questions and extremely responsive. Despite the disclaimer I was still surprised at the stairs, please note that it is narrow and steep! Solo travellers like myself struggled to get the luggage up and down but it was still manageable. The space itself made up for this very minor inconvenience, I had do qualms about it at all! Definitely would recommend to others, had all the needed facilities in such a cosy space. I’d consider to even return myself if I ever get the chance to!

Superb! Sa vezi pe geam întindere de verde, animale domestice și sălbatice, dintr-o casa primitoare...este incredibil. Totul aproape de ce contează, Amsterdam, Haga, campuri de lalele, Keukenhof. Multumim!

Yasmine and Sabah are, without question, the kindest and most helpful hosts I have ever met. I was dealing with a family emergency and had to book an Airbnb at the very last minute, and they showed me such immense kindness and support that I will never forget it. They went far above and beyond anything I could have hoped for — from being warm and responsive to offering help with genuine care and compassion. I will forever be grateful and indebted to them for their generosity during a very difficult time. In addition to being such lovely people, their Airbnb is absolutely fantastic. It is spotlessly clean, thoughtfully set up, and incredibly comfortable. Everything was exactly as described — if not better — and it felt like a peaceful, welcoming retreat from the moment I walked in. I cannot recommend staying with Yasmine and Sabah highly enough. They are extraordinary hosts and truly wonderful people. Thank you both from the bottom of my heart.

Great, cozy old school appartment, made us feel as citizens of Rotterdam at least for a few days. Danielle was very lovely and helpfull, welcomed us with wide smile at her face. Great location,close to Central Station,Metro,Super Market and few restaurants near by. Neighborhood seemed very calm and safe. Thumbs Up, Thanks Danielle🙂

Geweldige ruimte met een fijne omgeving. Zeer centraal en gezellig. Tim heeft me persoonlijk ontvangen en hij is zeer attent. Hij is bereikbaar en heeft het appartement blinkend schoon voor me achtergelaten. De tuin was heerlijk met het lenteweer. Tot snel ☀️

Joke & Marcs place was ideal for us as it was well designed for a couple like us. The setting was peaceful and we could sit out in the evening with a drink overlooking the river. Everything we needed was provided and J&M were really friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend if you wish to explore South Holland.

Really fantastic option located in a lovely area of Rotterdam. The apartment is spacious and really nicely decorated. The kitchen is well stocked and the bed is comfortable. Couldn't have asked for a better place to spend a few nights exploring The Hague, Delft and, of course, Rotterdam.

Mark ist ein sehr freundlicher und aufmerksamer Gastgeber. Alles war wie beschrieben und wir haben uns direkt wie zu Hause gefühlt! Die Wohnung ist eine große Empfehlung und alle größeren Städte wie Amsterdam, den Haag etc. sind sehr gut zu erreichen.

Great place, very close to the city, museums etc yet very private and in deep nature . We really enjoyed our time and would recommend the place for everyone seeking privacy, calmness, nature and a bit of adventure.

Super süßes Häuschen auf einem tollen Platz! Habe mich direkt wohl gefühlt. Auf dem gemütlichen Campingplatz kann man sich kostenlos Fahrräder ausleihen - Mit dem Rad ist man schnell am Strand und kann die Gegend leicht erkunden. Toiletten und Duschen waren immer sauber. Gemütlicher Platz, perfekt für eine kleine Auszeit! Würde immer wieder kommen.

Super séjour chez Elselina . Nous avons apprécié le calme, la nature environnante ,les petites barques à disposition et la proximité avec les vaches . la petite maison est bien pensée , il y a tout ce qu il faut. la literie est top ! Merci pour les œufs du poulailler. Merci pour cet accueil et pour votre gentillesse.

This garden hideaway was a perfect place to unwind and take walks to magical places nearby. After several days in various cities I was ready for a break. A nearby island with a beach can reach by a pedestrian bridge just past the little grocery store. An old forest preserve with long allees of towering trees leading to a manor house and gardens can be reached just up the road in the other direction. Other reviews mentioned the occasional sound of planes which I barely registered. The sounds of the city were replace by the sound of wind in the trees and of a neighborhood rooster in the morning which I liked. Marjolein and Anton were a sheer delignt. Take a break and stay here for a few days.

De Kota van Jolanda en Falko is een heerlijk knus plekje en mooi ingericht. Doordat het van hout is, voelt het binnen heel natuurlijk en kom je lekker tot rust. De tuin is prachtig aangelegd met veel leuke hoekjes en moooe uitzichten. De zonsondergangen zijn fenomenaal! Je loopt zo de prachtige Zouweboezem in. Jolanda en Falko denken graag mee over mooie wandelingen en staan open voor een praatje. Voor koelkast en toilet moet je een klein stukje door de tuin lopen. Als je je daarop instelt is dat geen probleem. De wifi reikt op dit moment niet tot de Kota, maar er wordt nog over nagedacht om dit in de toekomst aan te passen. Het biedt overigens wel een kans om echt even uit te schakelen 😉. Al met al dus een fijne plek met vriendelijke mensen en een prachtige omgeving.

A super beautiful, quiet and cozy house. We had a great time! The photos capture the vibe accurately. Plus you have horses in view at any time you want. An easy 15 mins walk to the beach & approx. 20/25 mins to town and the nearest restaurants/bars. Tjeerd & Laurie are super responsive and always offer kind advice when needed. We’d be happy to come back another time!

A very special setting and beautiful design with lots of personal touches. Easily accessible with a fully equipped kitchen and lots of natural light. We really appreciated the flexibility of the host regarding check-in despite our very last minute booking. We also enjoyed the little garden patio which was perfect on a warm evening. Only downside may be the noise of the highway in the distance but it did not bother us too much. Definitely recommended for a weekend getaway.

Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit hier! Die Hütte ist richtig gemütlich, es ist alles da, was man braucht, die Kommunikation mit dem Team war sehr angenehm und das Frühstück im Koffiehuis richtig lecker. Wir waren wegen einem Konzert in den Niederlanden und der Ziggo Dome war sehr gut erreichbar.
