Very nice place to stay. Only had the pleasure of staying one night but if in port Elgin again would not hesitate to come back. We had a room with one queen bed, it was exactly like the photos and very clean. Everything worked as it should.

My friend & I enjoyed our stay at Joseph Lawrence House. It was a lovely, comfortable place to be as we had our annual visit. Paul & Patricia greeted us warmly when we arrived at their home. They were very friendly and wanted to make sure we had what we needed. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. I will certainly plan to stay there again when I visit Collingwood next time.

Excellent check-in process. Parking at the back. Room was very clean and larger than I expected. Literally across the street from the beach-ideal location!!

Harry & Carol's house is just across the Georgia bay overlooking it. it is very neat & clean place. The breakfast was delicious, Carol we need the recepies please. The places recommended by them are worth the visit same as the restaurants. This couple is so humble, approachable and down to earth. we never felt away from home. We are coming again for sure during summer days.

Me and my girlfriend really enjoyed our stay in the snowy cabin, located 20 minutes from Blue Mountain. No rush to check in or out, and the space was very clean and tidy. Esther and Mamo were very friendly and helpful, and their dog Bella was cute and friendly. The space is decorated beautifully and has a very welcoming vibe. Would reccomend!!!

My partner and I wanted to find a little getaway to celebrate our anniversary. We usually travel abroad every year but because of COVID, it has restricted us to travelling locally. When we booked this place we didn’t expect too much, but boy we were in for a surprise! This place offer so much more than what you see in the photos. The location is perfect if you’re looking for a place that is quiet, private, and with a view. We stayed at the Cove Suite; the place was clean and had everything we needed. What I enjoyed the most about this place was the food. Oh my goodness, kudos to the chef! We need to protect that chef at all cost. We had an AMAZING dinner and breakfast! Yes, the restaurant is just below where we were staying, which was very convenient. We are definitely coming back next year! Thank you Ashley for hosting us and making our stay so memorable.

Staying at the Sweetwater Bay was the highlight of our trip to Tobermory. It’s so peaceful and Ashley is extremely helpful - they’ve thought of every detail. The room was beautiful and the location is perfect, we loved swimming in the bay just off the patio. I would recommend this to anyone, we’ll definitely be back!

Wow! If I could give this place 10 stars I would. It’s the perfect place for a remote and quiet vacation but so close to the town of Tobermory and all the must see attractions (flowerpot island, light house, national parks). It’s absolutely the perfect location. The grounds of this boutique hotel is breathtaking making it feel more like a 5 star spa than a Airbnb. The one million dollar view is just the cherry on top. The sunsets over the stairs that lead down to the water is a must. The staff is wonderful and welcoming. I stayed at the harbour room which I was told had the best water views, was spacious and romantic. One of the largest bathtub I ever seen. The bed was so comfortable and all the small little things such as keurig pods, David tea, in the room was a nice touch. A bonus was the beautiful spa like pool outside. Although the water was a bit chilly, it didn’t stop myself and husband using it after a long day of hiking. I cannot say enough about this place and I will for sure be coming back and recommending Ashley. Thanks everyone for making this a memorable trip for us!

Great location, easy to get to the ski hill, lots of parking. Joe and Daphne are very responsive and accommodating, and the unit had everything we needed

Was a great place to stay! Walking distance to mini putt and the beach! While we waited to check in we played ping pong and sat in the shaded fire area!

This is our second time staying with Sweetwater Bay. Highly recommend. The place is clean. The staff is friendly and the owners are very approachable and knowledgeable. We did a 2 hour hike to this secluded beach at Ashley's recommendation and it was perfect since nobody else was there.

Absolutely gorgeous facility, tucked away in your own little piece of paradise. Great hikes, amazing landscape, minutes away from town. Host was proactive, responsive and available. We felt welcome right away. Oh, and the restaurant is incredible!

A quiet retreat in a beautiful environment. Eric had the fire going with we arrived. We loved all the small details. The homemade breakfast in the morning was the icing on the cake.

She was very helpful throughout our stay, offering detailed recommendations for local attractions, restaurants, and things to do in the area. The place itself is beautiful, spotless, and thoughtfully set up — perfect for a couple. The bed was comfortable, and the décor cozy and welcoming. We especially enjoyed the peaceful surroundings and how quiet it was at night. The location is excellent — just a short walk to the harbour where you’ll find a variety of restaurants, shops, and boat tours. It was really convenient not to have to drive everywhere. We’d absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Wonderful Stay! My experience at Alexander’s place was fantastic from start to finish! The hotel studio was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and full of thoughtful touches. The location was perfect, with easy access to Wasaga beach area 2. The check-in process was seamless, and I appreciated the detailed instructions.
