Holiday rentals with a fireplace in South Australia

We absolutely loved our stay at Karen’s place. The area wasn’t exactly what we thought but it did not take away from the beauty of this place. The extra thought that Karen has put into the supplies at the house was just wonderful. Having breakfast was a dream. Karen even reached out to let us know she would have the Airbnb prepped warm and lights on as we had a late check in. The place itself is just stunning. Highly recommend.

Loved staying here. Although it’s on the main highway it was very quiet at night. Everything was spotless, with high quality and ample breakfast provisions. The Merry Moose Riesling was a delicious wine and a treat to have over dinner. Everything was functional, and the combustion heater made the living area toasty. If you like a firm mattress, you’ll love the beds - I slept very well. Would happily stay here again.

Wendy's place was truly beyond our expectations. I booked Wendy's place to celebrate my birthday with my husband and our daughter, i was looking for a peaceful place to spend my birthday weekend with my family. And all my wish come true. Wendy's place is so peaceful with beautiful view of the lake. On the first morning we were so lucky to see hundreds birds flying low on the lake, it was so magical. Wendy also goes up and beyond about my birthday, she spoiled me with some chocolates and a bottle of wine, what a lovely gesture, thank you so much Wendy! There's so much to do in Wendy's place, we loved the native garden, we picked some tomatoes, they're so sweet and juicy, we also went biking and kayaking, even though it was a bit cold and windy but I guess that'll be a reason to come back on summer! Thank you for having us Wendy!

What a beautiful house! We had five adults and a dog in our group and there were plenty of bedrooms, bathrooms and lounge areas. The area is beautiful and very private. There are so many beautiful personal touches throughout the house that made the stay feel extra special. We loved this house - probably my fave air bnb ever - and will definately look to stay again.

The house was incredible - exactly as described. 360 views of vineyards, a beautiful yard with fenced pool that was perfect for our young boys to run around and ride bikes, and very comfortable beds. We did a big cook up one night and the kitchen was well equipped. A large indoor dining table and outdoor dining table, and a large family area with big screen tv and lovely warming fireplace. Aircon throughout. On a cold May night it was very cozy! I would highly recommend this property, we were 7 adults and 2 kids and slept here very comfortably.

Beautiful welcome with the fire on because we had a late check in. Everything was easy to find and the bed was very comfortable after working at the Gumeracha Medieval fair. The communication between Robyn was very responsive. We didn't have time to see the gorgeous animals but we will next time.

We had a great weekend at Jane's lovely cottage. Checkin was a breeze as we just walked in and the key was waiting for us on the kitchen bench. The interior was well designed and spacious with everything we needed for a quiet getaway. The cottage was just a short drive to Stirling and Hahndorf where we strolled through shops and tried their excellent restaurants under the autumn foliage. All in all, we felt like we have just spent a weekend in a friend's house.

LOVED this home! We felt right at home - absolutely beautiful, perfect combination of modern extension and amenities with classic stone cottage all in a private setting but super close to main road. And when we were running late on leaving, Kath was super understanding. We would 💯 stay here again and felt sad leaving. Thank you Kath!

Ann Marie was extremely accommodating even extending our check out time without even requesting it. The place was just as the pictures showed and checking in was extremely easy. Much recommended for others to stay here

A perfectly located apartment to explore Hahndorf and surrounds. The accommodation was clean and well equipped, spacious and homely. Nelia was very helpful and responsive with any questions I had. I would heartily recommend this property if you’re planning to stay in Hahndorf. Quiet, well placed and still only a short drive to Adelaide (less than 30 mins).

Great location for an Airbnb, right by the sea front -lots of places to eat nearby and easy access to the tram (just use your debit card to tag on when boarding the tram -super easy for us visiting from WA) Everything felt very safe, which was great for us with 3 small kids. Playground & Beach House for kids entertainment within 5-10 min walk. Doughballs restaurant great for kids too! We found Julie’s apartment to be very clean, had everything we needed and more! Thanks for a great stay :)

Lindsay was a great host, gave us some tips of good places to eat and see. The air bnb was lovely, clean, had everything we needed and more, even a sweet welcome gift. Great, quiet location, easy to find. Would definitely recommend and would stay again.

Well appointed apartment with large rooms. The greatest asset was its proximity to the beach. It was lovely walking along the foreshore. Wendy was very accommodating for our family and made our stay in Adelaide memorable.

First time staying at this property, but like other properties of Lucy’s they are managed extremely well. We look at availability of Lucy’s before other AirBNBs. Stunning views, amazing location and dog friendly for the fur baby. Beautiful property which we would happily stay at again. Hosts are very responsive and thoughtful leaving basic groceries for our arrival.

Although quite rustic, the location and views are truly amazing. Even though the property is situated in a popular location, with a busy coffee shop across the road, once you close the doors it is quiet and peaceful inside. The welcome goodies were an amazing touch with fresh fruit, breakfast cereal, fruit juice and more! With the waters edge directly across the road, and endless beaches to stroll on in both directions, we had an amazingly relaxing and wonderful time away. We would definitely stay again when visiting Henley Beach. Lucy is an amazing host, always quick to respond to any questions or queries we had before and during our stay. Thanks for having us Lucy, your property is truly lovely and homely! :-)

The Retreat was everything as described and more. The bed and couch were comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed, the villa was elegant and modern and the surroundings were so serene. It was the perfect little hideaway in the Adelaide hills for our Easter long weekend escape. The heated pool was used a lot, the windy roads around The Retreat were magnificent to drive on and it was easy to get in and out of the villa. Bridget responded quickly when I had questions and I felt very at home during my stay. It was especially nice to have the fireplace going on our coldest night. Overall, I’d stay here again in a heartbeat and recommend it to anyone who needs a restful holiday.

Yael and Robert provided a gorgeous eco retreat on an amazing section of Kangaroo Island. All the local goodies and recommendations given was amazing. Super attentive and responsive throughout our whole stay. The villa was a great location for ‘home base’ to explore the island from. Lots of wildlife can be seen from the villa. Some special treats were a koala only one metre off the ground as well as a kangaroo with its Joey. Would definitely stay again!

Inspiring decor and surroundings. Casa del mar was a gorgeous getaway for my family and I with all the essential amenities. We spent the weekend admiring the interiors, layout and view. There’s lot to do, we played pool, finska, puzzles, went on walks and watched movies at night. We hope to be back again

What a wonderful weekend away. We watched the sunrise over the valley and enjoyed the serene surroundings. The villa was in immaculate condition and the hosts were very sweet. We will definitely be back. Thank you Briony and David, our little boy now wants to be a farmer!

A wonderful place to stay - easy walkable distance to both the beach and the Main Street for places to eat. Great indoor and outdoor spaces - Anne was a very welcoming and friendly host who made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. Highly recommend!

The house was beautiful and in a relatively quiet area. Host was very quick to respond whenever we had a question and very quick and proactive to resolve a door handle that came loose. Will definitely consider staying again and recommending it to others.
