Staying at the beautiful unique 200 yr old house of Mrs. Maheeb was very special in every sense. Her welcoming smiles, the very good home cooked food, and her amazing stories about the house and her family made this a very warm experience. If our schedule had not been tight, we would very happily have stayed another few nights. One day we will be back for sure. VERY highly recommended to anyone staying in Shimla.

Amteshwar is a great host. The place is as described. My mom stayed there for a month while she was in India for eye surgery. She was extremely happy with her stay and the amenities offered including the beautifully maintained garden and plants. There's a cook at home and she makes delicious food as requested and it's very reasonably priced. The location is central to every place you'd wanna check out in chardigarh and there's a bunch of options for transportation, readily available. Amteshwar is also helpful and can provide local recommendations and arrange transportation if required. He's also very flexible and worked with my mom when she needed a few extra days over the one month stay that was initially booked. I would definitely book another stay there and absolutely recommend this place.

Very good experience of my stay at Apna Ghar. I literally felt like it is my own house. Hosts are really helpful and polite. Location is very close from the Mall Road.

Absolutely loved staying at Anuraag's place. I felt right at home. The Host was always responsive and was very friendly.The place was great and the garden was beautiful. It was a delight to play with Scooby and Duke they were very friendly. Overall the experience was good. Whenever I visit Chandigarh again I would definitely love to stay here again. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful.

Best resort in Shimla.

Amazing place to surrender yourself to nature. Quite, peaceful place to have a beautiful time. Drive till this property is fascinating in its own way. Easy to get there. Nice clean place. Very beautifully & tastefully done interiors as well as exteriors. Their own private organic plantation. One of the best properties i have seen. Last but the best part are host Mrs & Mr. Chiranjeev Sethi. Very helpful people..a great couple to talk to. Thanks sir & mam for hosting me. I will see you soon.

if you are looking for a place which needs to be at : a good 1.5 km walk away from Mall Road , a 1.5 hour trek away from Jakhu temple ( if you walk leisurely like i do), a 10 minutes drive away from the Chief Ministers residence and the State Secretariat....come here.

This is a bit secluded and pretty far away from Shimla, and the directions can get quite tricky unless followed very carefully. Remember to search for Karyali Saroor as Google shows a different Karyali in Himachal Pradesh. It could be a long drive but will be worth with some really nice scenic view on the way. You will also find an old fallen concrete bridge on your way at Nauti Khad, which is quite interesting view in itself! The property itself is very lovely and tranquil place in the heart of mountains, it was warn in the day and cool at night when we visited in October! You can find natural treks to go around, we did a quick trek with kids to nearby waterfall! Try turning off all the garden lights in the night, and gaze the stars above, it was mesmerising! They is not much around the place (limited general shops), so carry everything you might need.

Great place in a quite location, 5 km from mall road

His place was very good. We were stuck in the road with no transport he made sure to come by himself pick us and brought us to the hotel..place was very clean and well maintained with a nice balcony to chill..food was very homely. Helper bhaiya was always available on call to help..lol far from the centre but bus is available

sunil and his team was so co-operative. due to some reason we were unable to do check in on time. I got call from the hotel and I explained the situation. they were very helpful and we were able to do late check in and Manager Mukesh was there at midnight around 2 for receiving us. great example of service. it was just amazing experience and they also allowed us to do late check out. thanks Sunil and team, we will surely visit the place again.

Beautifully decorated, absolutely clean and at a wonderful location. It had everything one could ask from an Airbnb.. it costs pretty much the same as any 5 star hotel and it does give you that comfort and Luxury too . I’d be happy to go there again

The place is quite simply worth the drive inside from the highway. The host gave such detailed instructions to reach the place. The room including the bathroom is simple, spacious and clean. The shower with hot water felt great. The food was so delicious that you can overeat. The whole ambience of the locality is great, if you like being away from urban spaces

Everything about my stay was wonderful! Mansi was an exceptional host—warm, helpful, and attentive. Her family was equally welcoming and supportive, which made the experience even more special. The room was exactly as described: clean, well-maintained, and with a separate entrance that ensured complete privacy and comfort.. A special shoutout to Adi, Mansi’s brother, who went out of his way to assist me with small but important things. I’d absolutely love to visit again if I get the chance in the future!

Staying here lets you experience the peaceful life of Chandigarh in the best way possible. Waking up to the sound of birds chirping and enjoying your morning on the patio overlooking a beautiful lawn makes you truly appreciate slower mornings. Anurag treats every guest with genuine warmth and care. It has quickly become my favourite spot in town for a few relaxing days.

Sonali & Nikhil were great hosting us, always welcoming, approachable and very prompt on each and every request. except for a fairly small mishap with one of the geyser not working intermittently, everything else was top notch. Be it the stay, cleanliness, food, service... much love for cook uncle. Very friendly and sweet. would definitely recommend this place.

Couldn't have asked for a better stay, view and location! The hosts were very polite, helpful, responsive and very attentive about every single request or requirement of the guests. The property is very well maintained, and has ample parking within the premises so you don't need to park on the main road and add to the traffic unnecessarily. The food was amazing and there was quite a variety of dishes for all 3 meals, plus additional snacks also. All in all, a great experience, and would love to come back! Thank you Atul and Garima ❤️

It was a pleasant stay at Sonali’s BnB. We got so late but Nikhil waited for us with a smooth check in and hot food. Morning breakfast was great and the room looks same as shown in the pictures. Nice place to stay with family and furry friends.

This lodge was a great place to stay for me. The breakfast was awesome, good food, the location is great. It was not like crowded shimla, amazing views. comfortable rooms and washrooms had very nice toiletries.
