Family-friendly holiday rentals in Sola

Very nice and big house with incredible views over the lake.. all things you need for a great stay were available and host was very friendly and helpful. Definitely will get back when again in Algard.

This was a great space, aesthetically pleasing, comfortable and great location. Only thing to know is if you choose to stay in the loft you need to come down stairs and back in through the apartment door to get to the bathroom. Highly recommended place!

Great location in the middle of nature directly on the water. House with beautiful view of the water, ideal for enjoying your holiday in peace. It is definitely recommended to book a private boat trip with Jim on the beautiful fjords.

The accommodation was even more beautiful than in the pictures and we were warmly welcomed. Odd Bjarne is very friendly and accommodating, we got along very well and got many tips for activities and hikes. The contact was uncomplicated and he responded quickly when we had questions. It was a wonderful and relaxing holiday. We will be happy to come back!

One of the best AirBnB stays I’ve had. Inger goes above and beyond for her guests to ensure they have a pleasant stay. Her garden is stunning and she rightfully takes a lot of pride in the work she has put into it. There were a few times I was unable to reach a certain destination by bus, and Inger kindly offered to drive me to the location. I would highly recommend staying here, it’s the perfect mix of privacy, relaxation and engaging in social opportunities if desired. Norway is amazing, and I would certainly choose to stay at this AirBnB if I were to visit Norway again.

Loved the secluded location with a close view of the water and active birdlife chirping in the surrounding greenery. If you're happy with the stove/cooktop being outside, along with the toilet and shower, then you'll love this place as much as we did. The main bed is up a ladder in a loft, and there are stairs to the door. Had all we needed to cook our meals. Easy drive to a lot of varied hikes, including a lovely forest walk straight over the road (if you can find the little path).

Great house with a lot of equipment, you will find what you need. Screened areas and a fantastic view. The host was very nice, welcoming and helpful. The host was also flexible at check-in when we had some challenges there. Delicious and large bathtub was absolutely great. We were very pleased.

Whether you are looking for a place where your dog feels welcomed or a lovely place to stay overnight, this flat and environment makes it easy to enjoy Jørpeland. The flat provides an inviting environment for both guests and their pets. The space is thoughtfully designed, combining coziness with all the necessary amenities for both short and extended stays. On sunny days, the balcony offers a delightful spot to unwind and enjoy the surrounding scenery. All in all, we were super happy with our accommodation.

Accommodation in Mr. Torleiv's cottage met our expectations. The location of the accommodation is excellent, close to many tourist attractions sought after by visitors. The accommodation, including the kitchen, is fully equipped with everything you need to feel at home. Mr. Torleiv is very friendly, he was willing and tried to communicate with us, even though there was a language barrier on our part. He explained to us the possibilities of hiking in the nearby area according to the map and gave us some good advice. Thank you for a nice stay.

Tone & Jonas were very welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The house was large and open planned which suited us perfectly. The outside area was excellent with a nice deck and BBQ etc. The location is wonderful, easy walk to shops and amenities, bus stops etc. Having a rental car was perfect for exploring this fantastic area, amazing coastline, wonderful infrastructure and only 15-20 minutes from the fjords and islands and about an hour to Pulpit rock! Only about 15 minutes from Stavanger Airport and minutes from Tananger Port with ferries to/from Denmark and Bergen. Thank you for a very memorable holiday in Rogaland! The cottage corresponds exactly to the photos and is beautifully quiet in the countryside. It has a large garden that we liked to use for soccer and frisbee games. The beautiful beach of Sola can be reached in a few minutes on foot. In Sola, there are all the things you need for everyday life and you can be in Stavanger in about 20 minutes by car, so the cottage offers an ideal starting point for many activities. Nice and very central apartment with walking distance to most of Stavanger city center. Good and quick response from the host, absolutely nothing to complain about in the apartment or communication.

The location is super convenient with public transit literally at your doorstep, making it easy to explore the area and get into Stavanger. The apartment was cozy and well-equipped with everything we needed for a short stay. We were a group of four, but it’s definitely more comfortable for two. There’s also municipal parking available nearby, which is free during certain hours of the day. Asbjørn was kind and easy to communicate with, making the whole experience smooth from start to finish. Highly recommended for couples or solo travelers looking for a hassle-free base in the region!

Short but pleasant stay in this accommodation. The bathroom and toilet are in the basement of the main house, very close and clean. Well located, about 25 minutes from Preikestolen. Rosemary was very nice and welcoming. I would recommend it without hesitation.
