Eric is a very excellent Host. A few hours before my trip, the initial host I booked didn’t respond (after booking 2 days before). That’s where Eric came in. He went out of his way to get a place for me even when all lodges and hotels said they were booked. Eric will find you a place by every excellent means possible. My team I were happy with the trip and were grateful for the experience. If you need a place in the Sege-Kasseh- Ada region, ERIC is your first person contact. 💯

Es war gut, dass Afro mich abgeholt hat. Die einfache Unterkunft auf dem ruhigen und gepflegten Grundstück ist für alle, die nicht den Hotelbetrieb suchen und sich nicht scheuen, sich in Ghana selbständig zu bewegen, sehr empfehlenswert. Der persönliche Kontakt zu Afro war für mich als Ausländerin sehr angenehm.

Our stay at the island resort was truly unforgettable! The moment we arrived, we were greeted by the warmest host and incredibly friendly island staff, who made us feel right at home. The room was spotless, and the bed was so comfortable with a soft comforter that ensured a restful night’s sleep. Waking up to the stunning waterfront view each morning was magical! Breakfast was absolutely delicious, a perfect start to each day. We also appreciated the secure car parking, which gave us peace of mind throughout our stay. This resort is a gem—highly recommended! We’ll surely visit again!

Så smukke omgivelser – både de udendørs arealer med blomster, påfugle og æsler, hytterne og den fredelige udsigt over floden. Der er også et rigtig fint galleri med værker fra lokale kunstnere. Har man brug for en rolig weekend væk fra Accra, er dette stedet. Maden smager godt, og priserne er fair – især deres Jollof-ris kan varmt anbefales! Aktiviteterne virker lidt pricy, men vi havde en rigtig god “island trip”. Vores guide David var dygtig og besvarede alle vores spørgsmål om natur og kultur. Det kunne være spændende at gå lidt længere og se mere af øen, men det er en smagssag – og det skal selvfølgelig passe med landsbyens rytme. Personalet var meget hjælpsomt – vi fik bl.a. hjælp til at blive hentet og afleveret ved bussen. Det er en god idé at informere dem, hvis man ankommer med offentlig transport, så de kan guide én til det rette stoppested. Vi satte også stor pris på, at de uden problemer lod os rykke vores booking en dag frem. Håber at komme tilbage en dag!

We really enjoyed our stay here. Ot was the perfect location for the events that we were attending so all worked out well. Everyone was happy with their rooms.. it was funny though because the beds are really firm but after walking around at the festival all day and a concert that night the beds ended up being wonderful for us all it was exactly what we needed we woke up feeling good and refeeshed. The staff was very helpful and frim start to finish Michael was very accommodating. We will for sure be returning next time we'll bring food lol we didn't get to use the kitchen or the pool lol. Also check out Michael's YouTube channel I've been following him for a couple of years now.. it was a pleasant surprise seeing him as the host.

Great place, clean with good facilities. impressed with there water filtration system. Staff were very helpful. Affordable. only Negative was some young guest making noise. besides that the lodge itself was great. Just know the booking is per room not the entire lodge. no complaints.

A wonderful peaceful place, perfect for a retreat. Dave wasn't round. But Patience and Deborah were wonderful hosts. The place is at the edge of Ada Foah. Delicious Breakfast and Meals are provided and freshly cooked by order.

Beautiful location and hospitality. The views of the river are amazing. Extremely good value for money and Fidel and Tina were exceptional hosts. Can’t wait to return and explore more of this wonderful region…. Will definitely stay at Lakeside Serene Lodge again!
