Also worth mentioning is the apple juice sold by the owners, which is super delicious. In short, I highly recommend this Airbnb, which offers excellent value for money."

Very lovely place for stay. Their house is along the Fjorde and opposite to the snow mountain. You can enjoy the view though the window. Gunvor and Roar are both friendly to support us. Gunvor helped us to use the boat.

Schöner geht es nicht: ein uriges Haus mit mehreren Balkonen mit dem Lusterfjord direkt vor der Nase und Blick auf einen Wasserfall. Von hier aus kann man so viel unternehmen, wie eine Wanderung zur Gletscherzunge und der Nationalpark Jotunheimen ist schnell erreichbar. Camilla ist jederzeit erreichbar und hat viele Tipps und Hinweise. Uneingeschränkte Empfehlung!!

A wonderful location and a cozy spot. We enjoyed the proximity to the center on Balestrand, and the amenities of the house, including the use of kayaks to use on the fjord. Splendid accommodations.

Kind and accommodating hosts. We loved the views, in fact during our travels through Norway, this place had one of the best. Uninterrupted views and had so much charm with outdoor cooking/seating area. I wish we stayed longer! The inside of the apartment could do with modernising slightly as the kitchen and heaters make the place look outdated. But other than that, perfectly adequate for our needs and the use of the boats is a huge bonus.

Veldig koselig, komfortabel og velutstyrt hytte med flott utsikt, rett ved fjorden. Usjenert beliggenhet, stille og rolig. Verten var hyggelig og ga god informasjon om fotturer og bilturer. Fine fjellturer fra bl.a. Gaularfjellet og Balestrand, begge steder ca. 30 min. kjøretur unna. Båt lå rett nedenfor hytta og kunne leies for turer og fisking i fjorden. Anbefaler dette stedet varmt for rekreasjon og som utgangspunkt for utflukter i Sognefjorden.

Vi hade en jättefin vistelse på denna idylliska plats. Otroligt vackert med utsikten och lyxigt med den privata bryggan. Det var andra gången vi bodde här och vi återvänder gärna fler gånger. Om man vill paddla kajak med guide kan vi rekommendera Bulder & Brak som utgår från Årdal och Lærdal. Vi gjorde en jättefin tur med dem. Om man vill vandra kan vi rekommendera Molden med dess fantastiska vyer över fjorden och omgivande berg. Om man vill ha en ännu mer utmanande vandring kan vi tipsa om Børesteinen med start från Luster.

Anders was a great host, very responsive to any messages and needs. We loved staying there, the house was very 70s, lots of room, clean and very comfortable with everything needed for short or long stay. The view was super amazing, simply stunning, well worth the stay, Highly recommend.

Beautiful modern house with an amazing view. We were lucky to have some very good weather and so we made use of the outdoor area which was well equipped with furniture and barbecue equipment. The house was very comfortable and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Despite the changeable and cool weather, we had four wonderful days at this accommodation. The view of the fjord and the landscape is stunning in almost any weather. The cabin offers every comfort, the underfloor heating is pleasant, and the peace and quiet are wonderful. And you can admire a parade of cruise ships sailing to Flam and back. Communication with our hosts was uncomplicated, quick, and friendly. Balestrand is an ideal starting point for numerous activities, such as a catamaran trip to Flam. Shopping facilities, bike rentals, and an electric car charging station are all available. This house is highly recommended for people who value peace, comfort, and friendly hosts. One more thing seems important to me: you can't drive directly to the house; the short path leads across a sloping meadow. My wife has a slight walking disability, so it worked. For people with more severe mobility restrictions, this may be difficult.

Ein tolles Haus mit ganz besonderer Lage. Mit einer überdurchschnittlichen innen Ausstattung. Eine unglaubliche Aussicht. Und die Nähe zum Wasser ist unschlagbar. Einziges Manko ist der Parkplatz vor dem Haus. Ausparken ist recht schwierig da es direkt an einer Straße mit 80 Zone liegt. Und die sicht durch einen Felsen eingeschränkt ist. Das Boot ist okay und preislich günstig. Aber leider ist das Boot bei Ebbe nur über eine Leiter erreichbar die über dem Wasser Hängt. Und zu einem sehr wackeligen schmalen schwimmsteg führt. Für ältere Menschen oder Kinder nicht geeignet. Hervorzuheben ist noch die Kommunikation mit Hans. Ein wirklich engagierter Vermieter der sich gut um seine Gäste kümmert.

This is a wonderful apartment with stunning views of the mountains and fjord. The location is excellent, right in town, close to amenities, yet very quiet. Kai was promptly responsive when we had a few questions and gave clear instructions. This was definitely one of our favorite places in the world to stay!
