Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Slovene Littoral

Thank you very much. We had a wonderful stay of two nights. We visited the world famous Caves and the castle. The apartment is as described, very calm, very spacious, lots of privacy, own washing machine which came handy, parking space just in front of the house, and a garden full of toys for kids. Our daughter loved running in the garden and exploring it. We can highly recommend this quiet paradise after a day full of sightseeings.

This home is the epitome of complete comfort. We highly recommend this home for a traveling couple or family.

Robert und seine Frau waren sehr gastfreundlich, sie sprechen slowenisch, kroatisch und englisch, was die Kommunikation erleichtert. Die Gegend ist sehr ländlich und idyllisch sowie ruhig gelegen. Die Abende auf der Terrasse sind wunderschön und bleiben uns noch lange in Erinnerung. Die Unterkunft ist mit viel Stil und Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet, sodass man dort auch gerne Zeit verbringt. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Wow wow wow! What an incredible stay with incredibly helpful, kind, friendly hosts. This was such a lovely “destination” stay, a way to experience rural Slovenian living and culture. It’s a bit of a drive from the city, but well worth it for the stay and experience. Thank you and hvala!

Roman and Milena were very gracious and frendly hosts. They had special treats when we arrived and were very informative about the local hikes and restaurants. The location is just magical. So peaceful and beautiful! The cottage is well equipped and spotless! There are even slippers available for guest use! Very thoughtful. We hope to come back sometime for a longer stay. Host was super nice and helpful. The place was absolutely spotless down to every corner of the house, not a corn of dust in sight. Also it’s nice that the kitchen has all essentials already available so it was a very functional kitchen as well.

Ik verbleef met drie vriendinnen in dit appartement. Als je op zoek bent naar natuur, ruimte en rust is deze plek speciaal voor jou. Het uitzicht vanuit de keuken/ eetkamer is fantastisch. Ook hebben we genoten van de sauna. Je moet wel eerst de host vragen om de sauna te openen aangezien het in een aparte ruimte ligt, maar dat was niet erg. Wij raden dit verblijf zeker aan !

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt in Bled. Das Apartment war sehr schön gestaltet, alles sauber und neu renoviert und es war super, dass wir die Fahrräder nutzen konnten. Sogar Helme und eine Fahrradpumpe waren da. Erika war sehr freundlich, immer gut erreichbar und wir hatten sogar die Möglichkeit, etwas früher in das Apartment zu gehen. Vom Apartment aus ist man schnell zu Fuß am See unten und es gibt viele Restaurants in der Nähe.

Very special apartment, larger than we thought from the description. Perfection location to explore the city by foot. We were allowed to leave or luggage before check-in. Vaska was always responsive and helped us if needed.

Sehr stilvoll eingerichtete Wohnung mit neuem Bad und Balkon. Küche wie beschrieben und in Top Zustand. Garage sicherer Abstellplatz für die Räder. Ruhige Lage, etwas außerhalb der Innenstadt. Alles in allem ein sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt. Gerne wieder.

On a passé avec mon fils un excellent séjour chez Jana. Très bel appartement, bien équipé, très propre, bien aménagé et décoré. Magnifique vue sur la montagne depuis la terrasse. L'appartement est situé à 15 min à pied du lac de Bled. Paisible et entouré de la nature. Il y a des ruches à côté de la maison et on a la possibilité d'acheter du vrai et délicieux miel. Jana est une hôte très gentille et discrète. Merci pour tous les conseils. On a eu du mal à quitter ce merveilleux endroit.

We grew into Trieste - we didn’t fully appreciate our location but by the time we left absolutely loved the location and what it offered. Our hosts were our neighbours who were welcoming and helpful but gave us our space - we never heard or saw them unless we needed assistance. The only thing you need to be aware of is that there is one flight of stairs to negotiate but having said that Donatella, bless her, help carry our bags (unfortunately my wife had injured her back during a road trip prior to arriving) The space of the bedroom/living room was a bit overwhelming initially but we became comfortable with that as well - Donatella’s home had become ours - there was a pleasantness when entering the street door and our apartment door - oh and the bed and pillows were comfortable - a big plus. While the strip below us was ‘alive’ on Saturday night we heard nothing from our apartment. Would we go back - absolutely - but unfortunately it’s not just around the corner - but never say neve

Wonderful apartment. Like many others have mentioned, it is at the very top of many stairs (69) , but it’s completely worth it! A very clean and charming apartment with a lovely kitchen and great walkability to the lake and nearby restaurants. We appreciated the clothes washer too. Comfortable for our group of 5. I’d highly recommend this place and I would stay here again. I appreciate how they had many pamphlets with things to do in the area.

Lovely accommodation in a nice location with amazing outdoor sitting area looking at the emerald river. Very friendly hosts with good advice on places to see. Private parking. Good location to explore the Soca valley. Nice restaurant nearby, walkable or by car. Host let us use their canoe which was great on this impounded river so very calm waters. A beautiful stay and we want yo return.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft abseits des Trubels von Bled allerdings in unmittelbarer Nähe (Bled ist sogar fußläufig erreichbar) Saŝo und Darja haben das Apartment fantastisch und mit viel Liebe zum Detail ausgestattet - es war wirklich alles vorhanden. Besonders hilfreich war auch eine ansprechende Sammlung von nützlichen Infos zur Gegend und zu Aktivitäten. Vielen Dank und bis bald!

Wunderschön, blitzsauber, toll eingerichtet, schnelles W-LAN (Workationtauglich), sehr netter Host, Traumlage

Wir waren 14 Tage bei Franko und seiner Frau Milena in der Wohnung. Von vorne bis hinten ein toller Aufenthalt. Alles war wie es beschrieben wurde. Die Lage der Wohnung ist toll mitten in Olivenhainen. Die Ruhe dort oben ist unbeschreiblich und man kann vollkommen abschalten. Franko und seine Frau sind absolut nette Menschen mit einem guten Herz und immer einem offenen Ohr und sehr hilfsbereit. Wir können die Wohung daher nur jedem wärmstens empfehlen genauso wie das von Franko selbst hergestellte Olivenöl.

We had an amazing time in Irenas Happy beach Apartmen! Such a cozy place and thoughtfully equipped with everything you could possibly need! The view is stunning and it’s soooo quiet. We just relaxed and in enjoyed the silence. The sea is amazing and the spot directly in front of the house is also awesome for snorkelling! We found all sorts of fish, crabs, starfish, shrimps! In a 10-15 min walk alongside coats you can reach two beach bars, really cozy. In Rijeka you can shop everything. And in addition to all that, Irena is such a welcoming, friendly host! We really enjoyed our stay, thank you Irena!

Miha’s place was the perfect location to celebrate my father in laws 70th birthday. The location is perfect- walkable to Lake Bled but so peaceful and quiet with beautiful Mountain Views. The hot tub was squeaky clean and was a lovely added bonus to the stay. Miha was a great host and allowed us to drop our bags earlier than check in which was great.

Apartman je potpuno odgovarao opisu, plus dodate sarm koji ima uživo, i onda je jos lepsi. Prostor je relativno mali, ali sjajno organizovan. Sve je na svom mestu. Stancic je tih, ususkan, topao i romantičan. Natasha i Sammuele su jako proaktivni i dele sve informacije unapred. Ostavljen je čitav "book" preporuka sta da vidite, gde da odete, gde da jedete. Ulica je dva minuta od obale. Stan je na četvrtom spratu što će vam dati sjajan pogled, sve do dvorca Miramare.

This place exceeded all our expectations. It was absolutely spotless, and the bed was incredibly comfortable—we slept so well every night. The outdoor area and garden were peaceful, quiet, and surrounded by beautiful views, making it the perfect place to relax. The location is ideal: just 10 minutes from Lake Bled, 20 minutes from Lake Bohinj, and 25 minutes from Triglav National Park. It’s a great base for exploring the natural beauty of the region. But what truly made our stay unforgettable was Marija. She was warm, welcoming, and made us feel completely at home. She went above and beyond—offering tips, personalized itineraries, and tons of local insight. Her kindness and hospitality made our trip so much better than we ever imagined. Highly, highly recommend this gem—we can’t wait to come back!
