Apartment holiday rentals in Sissinghurst

Just back from a fantastic 3 night stay here! First of all, I don’t think I’ve ever came across a more proactive, friendly and helpful bunch that look after these apartments. Not only was there check in instructions second to none, they also gave great recommendations of things to do or to see and a great selection of local restaurants to visit. The room is perfect, it’s not the biggest in the world so don’t go in expecting a fully fitted kitchen but what you have (big bedroom, wardrobes and en-suite) is more than enough. If you’re taking a trip to London, especially to see some theatre, then you won’t find a better location than this. If there was one small negative, it would be that the room gets very warm. Obviously during the summer, this is definitely an issue but the room has a fan provided albeit not the greatest one. In conclusion, don’t hesitate to book your stay here. It’s a lovely room with the best location you could hope for. Thanks again 😁

Shane’s Notting Hill home is beautifully designed, comfortable and functional. Four of us stayed a week here and enjoyed spending our downtime in these lovely spaces. The outside terrace is a pleasant bonus. There is so much thoughtful storage that our things were easy to keep organized and out of sight. The location is great for enjoying Notting Hill and although busy Portobello Road is steps away the flat is very peaceful. Two nearby tube stops give easy access to whereever in London you want to go. Next time we find our selves heading to London we will be certain to see if Shane’s home is available.

We had an incredible stay! It was our first European stop after a long flight and we felt right at home. Beds were comfortable and amenities well equipped. Rich was a responsive host as well. Highly recommend!

Matt's place is really spectacular. Centrally located to some of the best shopping and eating in London, with a host of amenities that really set it apart from most other airbnbs (the home theater setup in the bedroom is particularly special). The bed is pretty comfy, the kitchen well appointed, the heated bathroom floors were really nice. One thing that I wasn't aware of until check in is the large construction site directly outside the bedroom window. There was lots of noise in the morning, but Matt was kind enough to reimburse me for the inconvenience.

We had a lovely stay at The Stables. It’s in such a perfect and central location for a maximum 2 minute walk into the high street. Lots of beautiful shops, restaurants, coffe shops and even an amazing Cinema (Kino). The property was a good size for a couple, with a lovely cosy and bright lounge area and fully equipped kitchen. The bed was very comfortable too! Whilst there is some road noise, it was generally very quiet and peaceful. We loved our stay, thank you!

Myself and my child had the pleasure of staying at Stella's. The property was lovely, clean, peaceful and suited our needs for our time there. Although it's situated on a busy road within TunbridgeWells, no problems with noise from traffic as house is slightly back from road and has a parking space for the property, which was something I required whilst looking at Airbnb's website for the time we required. Town was also a short walk from property. Stella responded to messages quickly, had requested additional bedding as not sharing the bedroom with my child, this was all provided by Stella from the start and included an additional mattress for the sofa bed. During our stay I asked Stella for an additional item and it was bought round to the property later that day. The neighbours were also really nice and helpful. No issues with check in or finding the property as instructions provided were exact. We really enjoyed staying at Stella's place.

I had an amazing stay at Kelly's Airbnb with my son! She was extremely responsive and made the entire experience seamless. The unit was beautiful, impeccably clean, and felt just like home. It also had great closet space in the bedroom, which is important to me. We absolutely loved the location—it was perfect for feeling like residents rather than tourists, with easy access to the Metro just a couple of blocks away. The area is safe, beautiful, and a short walk to Notting Hill and Holland Park. This will be our go-to place every time we’re in London. I couldn't recommend it more!

Clean, modern and comfortable apartment near the underground and overground lines.

We had a fabulous weekend in Susie’s beautiful flat. It is extremely comfortable, the patio lovely. The area is peaceful and great access to central London. Thank you Susie for being a great host and very responsive. We would love to stay again one day.

I had a lovely peaceful stay at this gorgeous flat in Kensington overlooking the gorgeous green of Sheffield Terrace Gardens . That view to the associated buildings rooftops through chestnut and magnolia trees creates a soothing backdrop to the busy city that extends beyond. The position of the flat equidistant to Notting Hill Gate and Kensington High street is also incredibly convenient for shopping and transport. The owner of this flat has exquisite taste in the artwork displayed and furnishings . Thank you for my visit!

Loved the property and the area. They were very open about the stairs - and there are many if you have heavy bags. We had an issue with a door handle falling off and it was dealt with quickly. Shower pressure is terrible. Something really needs to be done about that. Otherwise we loved it very much.

Great stay in Hove for a week. 5 minute walk to beach and great restaurants and bars near by. Flat a great size, was immaculately presented and had everything for a lovely stay. Host was very responsive and helpful. Couldn’t have asked a stay.

Stunning place! The location was perfect for exploring notting hill and west London in general! The common space is beautiful and has so much natural light. The patio was perfect for fresh air. 10/10 experience!

Place was great, 2 stores with the bedrooms downstairs. Beds are very comfortable, lots of closet space, with lots of comfortable towels available for your stay. They have done a great job with the decor giving it a fun vibe. I walked into London for business, location was great. Fantastic coffee shop across the street. Would highly recommend and rent again.

Clean and aesthetic apartment in London. Well connected with underground and grocery shops few steps away. A great base for a short stay in London. Only downside is flight of stairs to reach the place. Hosts very responsive and welcoming.

Staying at this beautiful Grade II listed Manor House was truly a memorable experience. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by our lovely host — Jo’s hospitality and warmth made our visit feel like staying with family. The Manor House itself is absolutely stunning — full of character, history, and timeless charm. Each room tells a story, and the period features have been lovingly preserved. Yet, despite the historic setting, all the comforts we needed were provided. The bed was cozy, the surroundings peaceful, and the gardens were a delight to stroll through. What made this stay truly special was our host. Her stories about the house’s history, the village, and her life were fascinating and added such depth to the whole experience. She was incredibly thoughtful, always checking to ensure we had everything we needed — without ever being intrusive. If you're looking for a truly authentic and heartwarming stay in the English countryside, this is it.

We were so fortunate to spend four weeks in March in this special place. It was very inviting, comfortable and clean. Simon is, indeed, a superhost. He is so nice, and made such an effort to make our stay pleasant and memorable. There were fresh roses on arrival, along with milk, water and some lovely snacks. Self-checkin was a breeze, so appreciated after a long flight. We didn't have to commit to a specific time which is always appreciated. He even offered to arrange a mid-stay cleaning, including a change of bed linens and towels, for a very reasonable fee. We took advantage of the offer, and it worked out very well. It was a treat to return at the end of the day to a fresh apartment. The neighborhood fantastic, beautiful and so walkable. Public transportation is very convenient, but we took advantage of the great weather and did lots of walking. We hope to return in the future.

Our family had a wonderful experience. The apartment was clean, beautiful, and in the perfect location with great restaurants and public transit walking distance from the place. Simon was extremely helpful and responsive. We will definitely come back.

This was my second visit to Carol-Anne's beautiful flat, and it definitely won't be the last. I love everything about it. Minutes from the Northern Line and with an abundance of little shops minutes down the road, I felt at home and could easily get anywhere in or out of London. Clean, beautifully decorated, and on a lovely quiet street. I couldn't have been happier and hated to leave.

Our short stay at Debbie’s flat was so good! She let us pay £10 per each hour before check in time which was so worth it as we arrived with 4 kids in the morning so it was nice to check in around 11 and get our bags settled so we could spend the rest of the day exploring! The flat was so cute and free of clutter, comfortable, and such easy walking distance from Kings Cross so it was very easy to get around. The neighborhood was quiet and safe and we would honestly want to stay there again if we make our way back to London! Thank you so much for everything!

As a family of 5, we truly enjoyed staying at this apartment. The location is excellent. Having a grocery store so close with shops and restaurants and even a little playground makes it such an ideal location. Martin was a wonderful host.
