We just had a heavenly week in Mister Wawan's homestay and what to say.. just wow!! This place was exactly what we were looking for, a cute new beachside homestay in front of the sunset with access to a kitchen to make us eat and cook our fish just caught with our host, Wawan will guide you to the activities of the islands, he has all the right plans! This place is largely in the top of the places I've been able to stay when I travel. I recommend closing your eyes!✨ Thank you Wawan🙏🏻

Grace and her family are wonderful hosts. They were incredibly helpful & responsive to all my questions about how to find them, where to eat etc. I was able to rent a motorbike from them which is a must if you're staying here. Especially if you want to access different surf spots or beaches on the island. The room is basic but has a private bathroom with a shared seating area for eating or socialising with the family. Grace and her family welcomed me to use their kitchen to keep food and to cook anytime I wanted. Although, I only really used the kitchen to make coffee as there are local warung's for eating which is not really any more expensive than buying & cooking your own food. Grace can also organise pick-up from the ferry port. Many other local accommodations are owned by westerners so I will always do my best to stay with a local family. Without doubt I would recommend staying here and I will stay here again with Grace & her family if I return in the future.
