We had a truly beautiful and peaceful stay at The Hidden Well in Medewi. The location is perfect—tucked away right on the beach, offering a tranquil escape while still being close to town and the famous surf breaks. The villa had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay, and we loved that there were great restaurants just a short walk or drive away. A special thanks to the wonderful local family who helps run the property—they really went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and cared for throughout our time there. We highly recommend joining the cooking class and buffalo walk—both were such unique and memorable experiences. Narina has also done an incredible job organizing everything with clear, detailed information that made everything so easy.

Amazing place. The 4 of us stayed at villa Ayu for 5 nights. We had more than enough space, beautiful garden, huge swimming pool, and beach front access. Everything is organised for a stress free experience. Breakfast, lunch and dinner were taken care by the on-site cook. Dini was super helpful with organising activities. Private balenese dancing, massage, dolphin trip leaving from the beach, taxi, etc. Highly recommended if you are looking to unwind and take a break from everything.

Great stay although was only for 3 nights as we travelled around Bali. Such a wonderful property and grounds with an amazing sea view vista to wake up to. The pool and gardens are very well looked after and all the staff were really nice, caring and went out of their way to make our stay as relaxing as possible. Boat trip to see dolphins with pick up from the front of the house by boat was excellent - swimming with the dolphins was an amazing experience. It's a shame the beach does have a lot of rubbish that gets washed up but this is a wider Bali issue not unique to this area. This didn't detract from what was an amazing stay. Thank you all

A wonderful beachfront getaway! The villa was perfect—comfortable, clean, and with stunning views. The service was attentive and thoughtful, making us feel truly cared for. Plus, the price was very reasonable for such quality. Highly recommend!

We hebben een fantastisch verblijf genoten met ons gezin met 3 kinderen! Wat een aardige mensen en mooie plek!☀️ Cindra kan heerlijk koken en bood wat we nodig hadden of vroegen. Het was er netjes, veel ruimte, een mooi zwembad en direct aan de zee. Een fijne rustige omgeving, om helemaal in tot rust te komen. Lanang kan van alles voor je regelen. Zo kwam een boot ons 's ochtends vroeg ophalen direct op het strand om dolfijnen te spotten, wauw! En werd er een hele mooie snorkeltour voor ons geregeld. Ook kunnen ze boodschappen en een taxi voor je regelen. De tuin wordt iedere dag netjes bijgehouden door de tuinman en ook is er een (nacht)portier aanwezig. Jammer dat de week alweer voorbij is. We zouden graag terug komen! Bedankt voor de superfijne week!🙏🏻

Beautiful location and lovely villa. Great garden and pool right on seashore. A little odd to be expected to pay extra for power when bedrooms could only b ventilated w aircon (2 of 3 bedrooms sealed rooms) but still a lovely stay. Staff were fantastic and Puji was possibly the best cook we’ve ever had.

We spent five days at the Villa, traveling with two little kids and had a great time. The place is furthered and decorated in such a great way - with an incredible eye for detail. The garden is beautiful and the Shala allows for great looks on the sunset! Nice staff - good cooking from Kadek! The place is a bit remote since the center of lovina is a few kilometers away but if you are looking for a place where you can feel at home and relax and enjoy the view of the sea book it right away!

The villa is breathtaking! The pictures do not give it justice! It is absolutely stunning in every aspect! Attention to details is impeccable. Must say we rented both Villas (Villa Buddha and Villa Samora) that are adjacent to each other and the overall compound made it seem even more beautiful and unique. We had 21 people for both villas staying comfortable however pay attention to the Balinese style open ceiling description of the bedrooms if you are looking for complete privacy. Monique is an amazing host and the stuff is unbelievable! They made our event unforgettable! Can’t be more grateful and would not hesitate to come back and recommend to anyone this paradise experience.

Our family of 4 had an incredible 6 night stay at The Beach Villa! The seclusion and beauty of the location makes it a very unique Bali experience. While we did spend a lot of time relaxing in the peace, quiet and privacy of the stunning villa, were also able to complete some day trips with a local driver to volcanos and waterfalls. Putu and her staff, including house keeper Siki and driver Kadek, were so incredibly accommodating and hospitable. While it is a bit of drive to get to if you are coming from the far south, you will not regret booking this brilliant accomodation!

My husband and I spent a wonderful month working remotely at Villa Baruna. Dayu, our housekeeper/ cook, made our time there particularly special. She is so warm & helpful and getting to know her a bit was a highlight. Made (gardener) & Putu Agus (night guard) were also great. The house looks like the photos. Pool is fabulous. We slept in the upstairs room and were able to get a mosquito net put up so that we could sleep with the doors open. Internet was reliable. We both enjoyed working at the outdoor dining table. The fans help but mosquito repellent is necessary. Lovina is a nice, small town. We enjoyed several evenings out, including wandering. 10th Table was good. House manager, Ketut, or the restaurants can arrange transportation. We didn’t use the beach or swim in the ocean at all. The garbage is heartbreaking and is more than just poor waste management in Bali. The plastic comes from everywhere and was a stark reminder to us that we need to make better choices ourselves.

Ein wunderschöner Ort mit lieben Menschen, die sich sehr zuverlässig um unsere Anliegen gekümmert haben. Das Haus ist sehr schön eingerichtet und liegt in einem tropischen Garten am Meer. Komang und seine Familie hat sich liebevoll um uns gekümmert. Wir haben die Ruhe und den Garten sehr genossen. Das Essen kann von einem Restaurant geliefert werden oder es gibt die Möglichkeit selbst zu kochen. Wir kommen gerne wieder! Danke für Alles!

Рекомендую эту виллу, для тех кто любит тишину и домашнюю обстановку!)) Красивое место с шикарным 12 метровым бассейном и выходом на собственный пляж с океаном в трех метрах от виллы! Отдыхал с семье неделю, всем очень понравилось!! Как для меня есть один маленький минус, телевизор старого образца, без возможности подключения интернета ( Все остальное просто супер!!!

We loved the place! Beautiful surroundings, and right next to a beautiful beach, great for long walks. Extremely peaceful - West Bali and Medewi are hidden gems. We often went to the next-door Kelapa Retreat and Spa for food. Putri was super responsive and helped us with all our needs throughout the entire trip, including arranging surfing and transportation. Highly recommended if you're looking for somewhere to get away from it all.

We stayed here for almost a month and it was a great choice. We had been traveling for two months before this location and we wanted some peace and quiet and a relaxing space. That is exactly what we got. The house is beautiful and the staff amazing. One of the features of this house is that the staff will cook for you. Well, we tried all the Balinese dishes and then some, and everything was so good I wish I could take Ilou and Putu home with me. After eating out for two months it was nice to have home cooked meals made from scratch. The staff really took good care of us and we will miss them. If you are looking for a nice peaceful relaxing space, this is definitely the place for you. :))

This was a lovely and well maintained resort. The villa we were staying at was huge and just like the pictures. It had a private entrance straight to the beach and the sunset bar next door which was great! Highly recommend this if you want a relaxing stay by the beach in Lovina.

Absolute Paradise. A magical place right on the water. We loved our time here and enjoyed exploring the local area but most of all we couldn’t get enough of just hanging out in the villa and admiring the view. The sunrises here are incredible.

Вид из номера 10/10, он стоит своих денег, вы не пожалеете. Чтобы быть справедливым я бы хотел отметить хозяину пару недочетов: 1. Калитка которая ведет к пляжу ржавая и сломана. Мы не чувствовали себя в безопасности зная, что со стороны пляжа калитка сломана. Каждый раз выходя из нее к пляжу я задевался вопросом, неужели у владельца такого элитного жилья нет средств починить калитку? 2. Подсветка на деревьях у бассейна неисправна и постоянно моргает. В вечернее время это раздражает. Странно что хозяин это не устранил. Надеюсь мой отзыв сделает отдых следующих гостей еще лучше.

La Villa se situe sur un terrain idéalement placé au bord de la mer, très belle architecture, magnifiques extérieurs avec grande piscine à débordement, vue exceptionnelle sur la mer, la villa principale est très belle, le personnel est accueillant, aux petits soins, ils organisent nos transferts, visites, demandes de massages à la villa, ils préparent la cuisine au petit déjeuner et au dîner, ils s’occupent du linge et de l’entretien de la maison. Les 2 chambres principales sont belles, grandes, agréables avec vue directe sur le jardin et la mer. La 3ème chambre est correcte, 2 salles de bains de la maison principale sont grandes, belle décoration mais nécessiteraient des travaux d’entretien… Par contre la villa propose 2 autres chambres en annexes qui ne sont malheureusement pas du même niveau de standing, et la salle d’eau est vétuste, c’est dommage car le niveau de prix était toutefois assez élevé et nous pensions pouvoir avoir le même niveau de prestation sur toutes les chambres.

We had a lovely relaxing week at the villa. The peaceful and quiet location was just what we needed and the staff made us feel at home straight away. We enjoyed the large pool and loved the massages and facials by the beach. We thoroughly recommend this villa if you’re looking to get away from jt all!

Super Unterkunft, allerdings perfekt für 2-3 Tage & nicht länger, da nicht viel in der Nähe los ist… Viele Hunde in den Gassen die uns Nachts verfolgten und nicht alle sind friedlich… Geile Villa mitten in den einheimischen Gebiet, Standort ist sehr laut. Eine Moschee weckte uns immer um 5 früh, durch hellhörige Räume. Am Strand kann man günstig Essen und mit den Locals die Livemusik genießen! Für den Tagesausflug zu den Wasserfällen und mal Delfine schauen ist Lovina und Umgebung ok :) Aber Abends haben wir keine richtige Bar gefunden (außer 8km nach Lovina) Vielen Dank an Ebby und Liebe Grüße an Srilestari 🙏😊 Selten solche lieben Menschen getroffen und waren super hilfsbereit..😊

Traumhaft... In den Norden Balis ist es ein Stück, jedoch ist jeder Kilometer es wert hierher zu kommen. Eine wunderschöne Villa, die sauber und sehr komfortabel ist. Der Fahrer der Villa fuhr uns zu Annekes Haus. Dort wurden wir mit kalten Tücher und Begrüßungsgetränk erwartet. Iluh, die Köchin war umwerfend. Abends besprachen wir was wir für den nächsten Tag essen wollen und gaben ihr das Geld zum Einkaufen. Besser kann man glaube ich nicht kochen. Zwischendurch wurden wir mit smothies am Pool überrascht. Alles ist super sauber und scheinbar neu renoviert. Der Pool ist sauber und wird täglich gereinigt. Abends ab 18.00 Uhr ist der Security vorne und macht zeitweise Rundgänge. Alles ist sehr privat und diskret. Auch kleine private Einkäufe hat iluh für uns erledigt. Wir kommen nächstes ja wieder. Danke an Anneke, Iluh, Nina, putu und allem anderen Mitarbeiter. Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit.

A stunning oasis of serenity! This villa capitalises on its amazing coastal location ensuring you connect directly to the sea. The moment you walk through the front door, the sea is visible through the huge windows from the family room and bedroom, with a stunning view across the pool and beyond. The open design of the villa means the breeze flows straight through the property, cooling it completely. The invitation to live outside, encourages guests to relax and live life at a more leisurely pace, gathering to dine, swim, and just be. The pendopo beside the beach was a great place to watch the world go by. The villa’s staff go about their duties cheerfully, understanding when to engaging with guests and when not to. The villa has everything you require and is very well designed and appointed. Suci cooks the most delicious food and catered to all our dietary requirements. Komang was very helpful, organising activities we wanted to do. We loved our time here. Thanks for having us.

Our family (four people) spent two weeks in Villa. House is even better than photos reflecting. Everything was clean and good quality—many additional facilities eg. PS5, Boose sound speaker, poker chips and cards. The view from the Villa is amazing, pool big and clean. Sunbads and furniture are very comfortable. However, the service was the most important thing that made our stay incredibly successful. Desi (our home maid) is a good spirit of this place. She is so kind and helpful. Our gardener and security man was kind and useful as well. The house is located in a rural area surrounded by rice fields and small farms. The view is incredibly serenity. One major problem - the beach is dirty with (for two weeks no one cleaned it) and water is not clear/cristal because of many streams and ditches nearby with water flowing from fields (including garbage, unfortunately ). Two dead dogs, a goose and animal bones washed up at sea during our stay. Thanks to our gardener it was quickly buried.

Bonjour, Nous tenions à vous remercier sincèrement pour ce magnifique séjour. Nous avons extrêmement apprécié le logement, qui est à la fois confortable, paisible et décoré avec beaucoup de goût. L’accueil a été particulièrement chaleureux, et la délicate attention portée à notre lune de miel nous a vraiment touchés. Tout le personnel a été aux petits soins tout au long de notre séjour, ce qui a rendu cette expérience encore plus agréable. Le massage était excellent, et le restaurant mérite également d’être souligné : tout était délicieux. Nous repartons avec de très beaux souvenirs et recommanderons votre logement les yeux fermés.
