Alex was a super responsive and flexible host. his place was incredible! the views were unbeatable and loved having the pool there. the drive is very steep and high up so wouldn't recommend doing it if you are scared of heights but otherwise amazing!

fantastic villa. very spacious. everything very fully equipped. modern kitchen etc etc. The only thing you have to keep in mind as a tenant is that you can actually only leave the property by car because you are right on the road. So a walk from home is not really possible or you can walk on a highway.

Our stay was a very good one. David was great at communication and kept us informed. The area is incredibly private so a car is a must but the villa is great for sunbathing. The lounge and kitchen is very spacious. Lots of cool lighting has been installed in the rooms. It looks very modern!

A superb villa, very spacious and clean. Just a note that it is at the top of a small mountain but wow when you get to the top the views are truly spectacular. A great spot for exploring the area and Ubers are easy to get for trips into Malaga, would highly recommend.

We stayed in Danielle and Michel's beautiful casita for over a week. They built this casita themselves and furnished it with great care and attention. We felt right at home. Warm welcome and also easily accessible in between for questions or tips. The view is phenomenal! Looking out over the valley in the shade of the grapevines, truly beautiful. The accommodation is easy to reach, the last part of the access road requires some agility; for this we received clear instructions from Danielle in advance. We absolutely recommend this location and would love to come back!

A perfect remote escape. This villa was everything we hoped for and more — a truly magical getaway. Tucked away in a peaceful, secluded spot, it offered total tranquility and stunning views. The interior is improbably but beautifully decorated — full of personality and charm in every corner. It somehow manages to be both stylish and incredibly comfortable, with thoughtful touches throughout that made us feel completely at home. We left feeling recharged and inspired. Highly, highly recommend.

We very much enjoyed our 4-day-stay in La Casita Secreta: The apartment and the garden are a real oasis: calm, green, beautiful! With a fantastic view, a gorgeous plunge pool to cool down, carefully selected interior and a kitchen well equipped with everything you need to enjoy calm days. La Casita is the perfect place for all who seek a beautiful hideaway and slow life in a small andaluz mountain village - away from full beaches and mass tourism. This is one of the best Air BnBs we have stayed at! The location is wonderful in the old part of the village and with views to the castle. There are some great hikes nearby too. The house is spotlessly clean and very well appointed, with everything you would need for a great holiday - from a very workable kitchen to beach towels. The sun loungers on the balcony are super comfy and perfect for lying reading in the afternoon sun. Jenny is a great host. She picked us up from the train station as we were coming from Madrid on a Sunday. She has lived in Alora for 8 years and has lots of great info on restaurants, hikes and activities/day trips in the area. She is very responsive to text messages and nothing was too much trouble for her. P.S. There’s a great wee shop run by Antonio literally around the corner - perfect for milk/juice/snacks etc. There are also many restaurants to choose from in town too!

It was literally living in a place close to heaven. It’s not only furnished with so much love, but also the attention to detail made it much more special. We were in awe upon our arrival, and found it hard to leave. We would like to recommend it to everyone, but it is so special, that we just might keep this as our best kept secret! From the moment we booked, our hosts went above and beyond to ensure our stay was flawless. They offered excellent recommendations, answered our questions with warmth and patience, and made us feel genuinely welcome. Everything is within walking distance. The way the villa is situated allows you to wake up to the gentle embrace of sunlight streaming through the windows, and ending the day with golden sunsets was pure magic. It is absolutely breathtaking. The thoughtfulness throughout made it easy to settle in and feel completely at ease, as if we were staying with dear friends. A stay so extraordinary, you’ll cherish every moment and never want to leave.

We had a wonderful, short stay at David's beautiful house. Quiet and private we had fantastic views from every room. The gardens and pool were perfect for us. The house was spacious and clean with quality beds and linen and lovely bathrooms. David was so friendly and accommodating, such a generous host. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend and hope to re visit.

The apartment even exceeded our expectations! We had a wonderful time there and would have liked to stay longer. The roof terrace is the absolute highlight. Having breakfast there in the morning or eating in the evening was pure holiday. A new small pool provides the necessary cooling. The apartment is very spacious and equipped with many individual art objects. A special place where you can feel the creativity of Timsam. There is everything you need. Communication with Timsam was very friendly and quick. For us, it was the best location on Airbnb we've had so far. Thanks for the wonderful time!

We had a fantastic stay at this wonderful house which has been thoughtfully refurbished and decorated! The house had everything we needed and everything was very well thought out. It’s a perfect place for a relaxing escape while still being in good reach of Velez-Malaga and Malaga itself by car. Our hosts were always very helpful, with excellent communication throughout. They took extra care to make sure that we were okay and had everything we needed during the Spain blackout which was very kind! We would happily come back to stay again!!

We had an absolutely amazing stay in the Villa. The views are stunning and the house, terrace and pool are new and beautifull. A must-stay when you visit this area.

Both we and our dogs have enjoyed our stay here. I was very worried that there would be some loophole through which they could leave, but quite the opposite. It is a small and cozy house, with all the comforts, although perhaps we missed a stove. The exterior is a marvel. We would love to repeat.

The place was great. 10/10 location. Restaurant outside is a bit noisy at night, so bring ear plugs. A very fair cost to pay for such a prime location! House was beautiful and the rooftop patio is a lovely place for tapas!

I had a fantastic stay at this place! The host was wonderful and made me feel very welcome. The space itself was cozy, comfortable, and really well-appointed, making it a great home away from home. I truly enjoyed my time there and appreciated the thoughtful touches throughout. The only minor remark I have is regarding the pool area, which is shared among all guests. It could benefit from a bit more maintenance and cleaning, especially to remove bird residue and ensure it’s in top condition for everyone to enjoy. Overall, a really great experience, and I would definitely recommend this place to others looking for a cozy and welcoming stay!

We had a lovely week at Teresa's villa. The view from the deck and pool is beautiful. There were 12 of us and each bedroom has its own bathroom and toilets. The rooms are spacious as well as the main living room The garden has many games for children (zip line, swings, slides ...) Teresa and her family were responsive to the little things that might be missing. That was great.

We loved our stay at Belen’s place! It was quite tranquility only a few short miles up the hill from Malaga. The patio with vista views overlooking the mountainous ridges down towards the Mediterranean Sea was breathtaking and a great place to enjoy breakfast and coffee as the sun rises each morning. The place was clean and well equipped. Belen went out of her way to make us feel comfortable when we arrived and provided local recommendations. There are some beautiful hikes/walks moments from the doorstep. Overall a wonderful experience!

We were a group of 6 friends and we felt comfortable all around in Mark's villa. We enjoyed the peace and quiet and still did a few activities (Caminito del Rey, Álora, Antequera & Alhambra). The pool was used by us every day. In the evening, we enjoyed the sunset on the large terrace. The finca was equipped with everything you need. We cooked together every day and we didn't miss anything. We have already recommended this Airbnb to friends :) Many thanks to Loli and Mark for this wonderful vacation!

Martin was a wonderful host! Prior to our arrival, he was responsive and super helpful in providing local recommendations. During our stay, we had an issue with the door lock, which he resolved very promptly despite being preoccupied at the time. The place itself is beautiful, well-equipped and comfortable. Superbly equipped and sparkling clean holiday home. Everything you need for a successful vacation in the cottage, e.g. as a hobby cook, is available. Great views into the distance, which you can admire from various seating areas. If you are looking for peace and quiet to recover from everyday life, you have come to the right place. The super great pool is a jewel and was used extensively by us. We were pleased with the smooth and proactive communication of the local contact persons. As a small surprise on arrival, a welcome package awaited us. In this beautiful house, you really feel welcome as a guest.
