Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Shikoku

If you want an authentic experience of living in a Japanese house and don't mind the retro feel, this is the place. It's a beautiful place full of little details that make the stay a joy. Everything that we needed was provided and the owner was very friendly and polite. The communication was also great and there were no problems at all during our stay. Oh and the dog (forgot to ask for its name) was sweet. I wholeheartedly recommend staying at Yamashita-san's place.

The stay at Khaki's place was fabulous. Khaki picked us up at the train station and took us through town and up the hill to the AirBnb that overlooked the town. It's such a beautiful peaceful setting not far from town. The kitchen was nicely stocked, bath was lovely. We got to visit his parents' sweet potato field, got delicious fresh greens and daikon from the garden and and learned about flowers with his mother. I highly recommend the pottery experience. Khaki is a great and patient instructor. Visit the gallery to see the exquisite pottery his family makes, that is reasonably priced. I bought a wall vase and spoons and can't wait to display them. Absolutely go to the Hutte Restaurant right on the premises. It was one of the best meals I had in Japan. The restaurant itself is beyond cute and interesting, with such unique decorations and atmosphere. We went to the Kojima Jeans area and wish we had also gotten to the temple in town. The tempura place Khaki recommended was amazing

Airbnbアプリのチャットで案内された休憩所に向かうと、途中までホストが迎えにきてくださっておりスムーズに入室ができました。 お部屋も広く清潔で田舎の祖父母の家のように寛ぐことができました。 島の方々も程よくお声掛け頂き、大変リラックスして滞在期間を過ごすことが出来ました。また必ず来ます。

チェックイン・チェックアウトの時間に融通を利かせていただいたり、不備があった際すぐに対応してくださったりなど、とても快適な時間を過ごすことができました。

We hebben een hele fijne week gehad bij omori. Ze is vriendelijk en gastvrij en heeft ons zelfs meegenomen op verschillende uitstapjes. Ze is heel creatief en wij konden ervaringen uitwisselen. Ik vond het geweldig om te zien hoe creatief zij was met oude obistoffen. We hebben samen een hele mooie mostuin bezocht en mamoeten gemaakt van rijststroo. Ook een mooie oude hoeten school en een oudctempeltje in het dorp. En gezellig met elkaar gegeten. Ook hebben we s avonds met haar vuurvliegjes gekeken. Het was geweldig. We komen heel graag nog eens terug. Dank je wel Omori.

非常棒的民宿！位置十分便利，在高松港附近，我们每天走路去港口大概十几分钟，周围有很多美味的餐厅，有超市和便利店。民宿里的设备非常齐全，做饭很方便，洗衣机可以烘干衣服！最重要的是房东和管家响应总是非常及时，服务很棒！如果下次有朋友来高松，一定会推荐这里给他们！

This place is amazing! Excellent location in central Hiroshima with connections to a lot of the sights. A little high up w/out an elevator and it can heat up without AC pretty fast but Fits-Field makes the former very clear and the latter is too be expected. Absolutely the most space we've had in a Japanese AirBnB or hotel so we were more than welcome to stay here. The view is also very nice at sunset!

非常热情友善的房东，很满意的一次住宿体验。房间设施看起来很新，说明也非常明晰，还有准备了各种方便物品和欢迎礼物，房东亲自来说明还给我们介绍了很多好吃好玩的地方。很好的房东，下次如果还来高松一定选择这家。

Wir waren nur 2 Personen, die Unterkunft bietet locker Platz für 10. Es war für uns ein episches Erlebnis in Japan: So viel Platz. So dicke Schall-Isolierende Wände. Keine Geräusche (nicht von Nachbarn, nicht von Autos/Zug/…). Wow! Internet einfach unglaublich: 1000Mbits auf einer Insel auf der Insel Japan.. Für Pokémon Go Spieler: 3 Pokestops von der Couch. Besser geht es nicht. Küche: Großzügig mit allem was man braucht. Wir haben noch 500 Meter entfernt ein paar extra Zutaten eingekauft. In dieser Küche hat das Kochen hat richtig spaß gemacht. Zwei super weiche (fast zu weich) Betten (4 Schlafplätze) und zusätzliche gute Futons (6 Stück) gab es! Wow. Wir wären gerne länger geblieben!

Yuko是個非常細心的房主，房間的裝備也非常齊全，我最喜歡洗衣機附有洗衣袋跟冰淇淋，整個空間非常舒服，推薦！

駅に近く、大手スーパー近く、飲食店周辺に多数あり　少し歩く範囲にあり助かりました。みなさんが、気にされている洗濯乾燥機の乾燥が悪いような事が書かれていましたが　厚手のものじゃなければ　時間をかければ　特に気になることは無かったです、前の晩に洗濯始めて　よく朝には乾いている感じで のんびりと　過ごせて　良かったです、また利用したいと思います

立地や空間が素晴らしいのは言うまでもありません。掲載写真の通りです。加えて、Satoruさんは素晴らしいホストさんでした。また家族で宿泊したいと思います。

家族6人で利用しました。 宮島を観光してから市内に入りこちらにお世話になりました。レンタカーでしたが、すぐ隣にコインパーキングがあって子どもおろしたり荷物おろしたりとても便利でした。非接触のチェックインもスムーズでした。 お部屋は広くてベットも綺麗で素敵でした。 翌日は平和記念公園、原爆ドームに行きましたが、とても近くて便利でした。

The place was basic, but squeaky clean and in the perfect location. Restaurants right in the same building and all around. Walkable to all the sights. And the price is right, so it’s a great value. We had a great stay and would stay here again.

とても清潔感のある綺麗なお部屋で、気持ちよく快適に過ごすのができました。駅も近く、付近を徒歩で散策できたり、ちょっと小道を入った古民家カフェで朝食を食べれたり、本当に気持ちの良い旅になり感謝しています。ありがとうございました。

We had some trouble finding the apartment initially, having been dropped off around the corner. The host responded quickly to my questions and helped put us right. We also had some other minor trouble that the host addressed promptly and thoughtfully. The apartment had everything we needed, even a photocopier for our ID documents, and was spotless and comfortable. We will stay again if we return to Hiroshima in the future!

Very complete house with all amenities. More than typical places provide, like first aid, cleanser, scissors, etc. Even added a heater for kitchen because aircon cannot reach.Very considerate. only downside is the drain for shower is a bit choke and slow.
