Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Sertã

Domingo and his wife Olinda are absolutely gems that I will always treasure in my Heart! I had a lot of questions initially before booking and they were kind to answer everything I needed to know! My stay was super peaceful, the little house was cool on a warm summers day and I slept very good in the bed! It was a blessing to receive home grown yummies from the farm (Potatoes, tomato, apples, grapes, herbs...) and I took some walks into the stunning nature behind the house. I would return there in a heartbeat. The only thing I did not check before booking (which turned out to be a good thing) was that theres NO WIFI - this would't bee something for working travelers that rely on good internet. Also I'd only book in the summer as theres only one coal oven in the kitchen but no other heating in bedroom. This stay is ideal with car. I stayed 5 days without car and I was so grateful that Olinda took me with her to farmers market and supermarket so I had enough food for my stay :) Loved it

Al principio me dio un poco de miedo por que revise la ubicación en Google maps y no es fácil de encontrar pero decidí creer que todo iba a salir bien y así fue!, es un lugar bellísimo, super privado, con unas vistas hermosas de toda la zona y super cerca de las Fragas de Sao Simão, que es un río muy cercano. A decir verdad fue una sorpresa de lo más increíble, cada que quiera pasar un fin de semana alejado del bullicio de la ciudad este va a ser el lugar predilecto para mí y mi familia. Un especial gracias al señor José Barroso y su esposa, aunque no pudieron recibirnos el primer día si estuvieron el día de salida, fueron super amables y atentos. El primer día nos recibió el señor José Antonio, un local que también fue muy amable y comprensivo con la situación de que no hablábamos bien el idioma. Muchas gracias!

Ótimo lugar para quem gosta de natureza, beleza natural, paz e tranquilidade. Ótima casa, super confortável e com tudo o que precisamos para passar ótimos dias.

Estadia bastante agradável. A casa da avó é acolhedora, confortável, limpeza impecável e dispõe de tudo o que é essencial para umas férias na aldeia. A D. Dália é uma óptima anfitriã, proactiva, muito simpática e sempre disponível. Recomendo.

Primeiramente queria dizer que este Airbnb tem o anúncio mais detalhado que eu já vi na vida, está realmente tudo na descrição. Também nos é disponibilizado um documento por email com instruções após a reserva. Depois, ao chegar a casa, tem um documento com o passo a passo de como utilizar tudo o que temos na casa (TV, rádio, máquina de lavar roupa/loiça, telas mosquiteiros, ar-condicionado...) Sério, é tudo muito bem pensado e não deixa mesmo espaço para termos dúvidas sobre nada. Mas se mesmo assim surgir alguma, a Sra Bianca e o Sr Gavin respondem rápido e são muito gentis. Dito isto, porque realmente me impressionou, vamos aos outros detalhes: o check-in foi fácil, a casa é um pedacinho do paraíso. O jardim é belíssimo, com flores lindíssimas, árvores de frutos e muito bem cuidado. O quintal é ótimo para aproveitar a quietude do espaço. A casa é realmente como está nas fotos, muito confortável e bem pensada. Tem tudo o que poderíamos querer. Recomendo vivamente!

A localização é espetacular. Ótimo para quem quiser apenas relaxar e apreciar a natureza, desde aproveitar o sol matinal com uma paisagem linda a apreciar o céu estrelado à noite. A casa tem todas as comodidades necessárias para uma estadia confortável. Obrigado ao Francisco que esteve sempre disponível para o que fosse preciso.

Foi uma estadia incrivel. O espaço do João respira tranquilidade. Situada a poucos metros da agua a diversão esta sempre garantida se é fâ de desportos náuticos. Uma piscina cumpre o propósito e uma churrasqueira convida a passar momentos em familia ou amigos com a maravilhosa vista da barragem. O João tudo fez para que tivéssemos uma excelente estadia. 💯 recomendable, 💯 calidad-precio, limpio, full-equipe, 🅿️ gratuito, comodidad. Nunca había dormido en una cama tan grande (para cuatro personas) con unos almohadones comodísimos y ropa de cama y toallas totalmente blancas. Además sofá cama cómodo y aire acondicionado y smart TV. Si estás pensando viajar a la región de Coimbra es el mejor lugar sin duda.

Appartement très spacieux et agréable, une cuisine où tout est à disposition pour cuisiner si besoin ( four, lave vaisselle, lave linge. La literie est confortable. Tout est propre. Départ de randonnée possible depuis le logement, 10 minutes à pied de toutes les commodités. Une bonne adresse.

A acomodações foi muito boa e aconchegante, estava tudo limpo e organizado. A anfitriã foi muito gentil e atenciosa. Conhecemos as cachoeiras que não incríveis. Com certeza voltaria lá

Paula doet er echt alles aan om het je zo comfortabel mogelijk te maken. Wat een lieve, aardige vrouw en wat een fijn huis is het. We waren er in een nogal natte periode en in huis was het koud. Maar er was genoeg hout voor de kachel en ze kwam ons nog electrische kacheltjes brengen voor in de slaapkamers. We kwamen ook pas om 00:30 aan 's nachts en dat hadden we gecommuniceerd dus waren er verse eitjes en broodjes in huis voor in de ochtend want het dorpje lag nogal afgelegen (wat juist voor de rust heerlijk is). Maar we leerden ook dat er een bakker 's nachts langs kwam en dat je een tasje met een briefje erin kon doen en dat had je 's ochtends vers brood! Ik kan nog zoveel vertellen maar je moet het zelf maar gaan ervaren. Hoe dan ook: Paula is een topper!!

Schoon en netjes verblijf in rustige omgeving

We had a very pleasant stay at Miranda's place. It was warm enough and well insulated (which is quite the exception for apartments and houses in Portugal). The kitchen was well equipped and the house was spacious while not lacking a warm atmosphere. We also liked the little pine forest just behind their house. The communication worked well, and we also had the opportunity to get to know Miranda's daughter, Tessa, a little bit more, which enjoys talking and showing around. Miranda has also been promptly helpful as we lost the key of the main door and with few other questions we had. All in all, very glad to have stayed there–gladly anytime again!

My husband and I loved our one week stay at Elsa's home and were sad to leave. The bed was very comfortable, the kitchen was well outfitted, water pressure in the very spacious bathroom was great, and the balcony with table and chairs and view of the castle was amazing. The air conditioning came in handy for a quick cool down of the room, but it wasn't needed much. The location was a lot of fun, allowing us to walk all over town, and the restaurant recommendations were great. Our only difficulty was locating the parking garage, and that was because we didn't think we could drive down the street it was on! The attendants were very courteous and helpful, and we usually ended up just paying 3 euro to garage the car from 7pm to 10am, moving the car out to either explore nearby towns or simply to put it in the local free lot. We absolutely loved our stay and definitely recommend it for anyone looking for an in-town Tomar experience!

This place is amazing, the views are incredible, unfortunately the weather didn't allow is make use the pool whilst we were there but even without this we had 3 lovely relaxing nights here. Eric is friendly and helpful and we loved the visits from the dogs as we were missing our own at home. Casa zen is perfect for relaxing and winding down, the accommodation is spotless and the location is beautiful

We just stayed at Martine’s accommodation and It was perfect we got to enjoy the pool as weather was hot it’s very close to Tomar and also close enough to Sanctuary of Our Lady of Fátima We really enjoyed our stay and Martine was lovely very accommodating and making sure everything was ok for us I Highly recommended this accommodation

This countryside getaway is a hidden gem. We loved the luxurious apartment and the view over the fields of the sheep, goats and donkeys. We also enjoyed exploring the Serra da Lousâ on foot and by mountain bike. Lots to do here and Tom is a really helpful host.

Pete and Linda are the best hosts we've ever had on Airbnb. They both went out of their way to make us happy and comfortable, from local restaurant recommendations to pool toys and everything in-between. Our daughter had an amazing holiday! The house itself is charming, with tonnes of space and everything you could need. The pool is fantastic and well kept. The local area is remote and beautiful with gorgeous countryside everywhere and some charming river beaches. I managed a run down from the house to the beach and back a couple of times but it's pretty hilly. In short, we couldn't recommend this place more. Thanks

j'ai passé un très bon séjour Cidalina est toujours très réactive , dans l'appartement il y avait tout. je recommande à toute personne pour découvrir ce petit coin du Portugal.

Experiência espetacular! Desde o momento da reserva ao ato de check-out, a Sra. Sónia e o Sr. Rui foram impecáveis connosco. Sempre muito atenciosos e responsivos a todas as questões que tínhamos. A casa, em si, é espetacular e corresponde à descrição efetuada/às fotografias. Ficámos super contentes com a escolha e com as condições. A localização do condomínio é muito boa. Está num sítio é calmo e a 20 min. dos grandes hipermercados. A vizinhança é super simpática, e o acesso à piscina é definitivamente um bónus. Tudo isto culminou numa ótima semana de férias! Definitivamente uma experiência a repetir. Recomendo bastante a casa da Sra. Sónia e do Sr. Rui a quem quiser visitar Tomar e/ou fazer umas férias relaxantes, longe do caos da cidade!

Martjin & Corina were the best hosts we could ask for, made us feel welcome from the very first second. The whole place is lovely and suuuuper welcoming to who want to relax and connect with nature and a quiet place. They also know how to take care of their guest and have maaaaaany awesome tips and recommendations for activities and things to do around their place, such as Wakeboard Park, amazing natural pulls, hikes and the best restaurants in town. Their place is beautiful and meets all the details described on their page. I recommend it over and over again and hope to come back to this place as soon as we can.

Our group of four had a absolutely wonderful stay at Maarten and Denises place. They really have poured their heart and soul in creating a unique and stunning house and environment. Every detail was thought of, and even things we couldn't have imagined, such as multiple hangout nooks to enjoy a coffee and scenery, a beautiful pool and an outside kitchen! Such a heartfelt family, who made us feel super welcomed. Thank you! We all hope to return one day :)
