We had an amazing time at the homestead. The location is magical and was exactly what we wanted. Peaceful tranquility, surrounded by nature. We loved everything. The fire place, bbq pit, sauna, hot tub, lake, woods, the house, everything! We would definitely be coming back in the summer time. Oh, and the hosts are very friendly, responsive and hospitable. Old house, full of old and curious gadgets. Location - quiet place surrounded by fields, forests, but at the same time is easy to get to, the road is in good condition and paved. On the first floor there is a bathroom, kitchen, living room, dining room. Both bedrooms are on the top floor, which is accessed by a wooden ladder, with a peculiar configuration. There is an outdoor area with a small pond, a dining table, swings, sauna. Jorge is a great cook who cooks Spanish dishes upon request.

Very spacious and clean house near a beautiful lake, with silent surroundings. Perfect place to stay in Zarasai and checkout the town, and the surrounding nature.

We stayed here for 2 nights and it was just perfect. Very peaceful place, we had everything we needed. Highly recommend

Needed a quick place to stay for the evening, was really surprised by how nice the flat was. very big, lots of amenities. Will definitely stay here again if I visit daugavplis again.

Super cute spot on the river, nice dogs, homemade mead, fabulous sauna, cool paths and hangout spots in the woods- what's not to like? This is a great place to get away, I'm sure when it is warmer it will be great to swim in the pond or river and go kayaking or SUP boarding

It is really an amazing place in Latgale, a hidden gem. Calm and inspirational. Owners invested 20 years of their life to save and improve this architectual wonder. Sustainable lifestile, all items are either restored or re-used, representing different times in the past. Sleeping in the room with so high ceiling was an experience on its own. Home made breakfest, stories and discussions with owners - we felt like a family. Traditional black sauna and cooling down by swimming in Dubna river was a nice touch, as from my childhood memories. I will come back again. Thanks!

Jevgenij’s place is amazing. We fully enjoyed the apartment with our little baby boy. The view is stunning and the apartment is huge, looks even better than the pictures. Jevgenij was very friendly, he met as at the apartment and show us how to use stuff. The place had everything you need. It even had sugar, coffee tea and toiletries. Thank you Jevgenij for the roses in the kitchen, it was very nice of you.

This location is absolutely fantastic! The place offers a wonderful stay with everything you need just steps away. Shops, restaurants, and central stations are all conveniently close, making it the perfect spot for both relaxation and exploring the area.

Unique place situated in the lovely countryside of Latgale with incredibly friendly and hospitable hosts. We can highly recommend ordering dinner as well. The family are excellent cooks and catered for our vegetarian diet perfectly. We also were allowed to use the manor's boat for a rowing trip. The room was very comfortable and authentically decorated in style with the rest of the manor. We were fortunate to meet both Alija, who gaves us a tour of the manor, and her parents who don't speak much English but were incredibly warm and friendly people that made us feel right at home. We hope to come back some day!
