Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Schleswig-Flensburg

We were with two adults and three children for a short trip to Cuxhaven and had an all-round beautiful time in the cozy cottage. We were even allowed to check in a little earlier and the communication was super friendly and uncomplicated at all times. Everything was fine for us. Here's how to make Airbnb fun! ;-)

This was a really nice stay. We loved it!

We spent a wonderful, long weekend at the farm. The house and the property are really a dream for all those who are looking for a beautiful place to slow down. Thanks for everything and see you next time!

What a beautiful oasis of peace! It was really an arrival and feeling good!! In the morning to sit in the sun with coffee, let the view over meadows and fields and listen to the birdsong - wonderful! The apartment is as beautiful as the pictures show it: delicately decorated, bright, generously sized and excellently equipped with everything you need to feel good. The numerous and versatile walking and hiking trails along the water (our flati especially swimming :-), over meadows and through forest we discovered with great joy! And we also thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful terrace as well as the garden with wonderful sundowner cookies! Gyde is a warm host. We felt how much she loves this place herself! Also, thanks for the many valuable tips. We will be happy to come back!

Everything was great as it was last time. That's why we were there again. The hospitable and accommodating hostess makes the trip particularly pleasant. This time, she welcomed us to her farm in the same place and gave us a tour. It was very interesting and the children had a lot of fun. We want to come back soon, so please do not book exactly then :)

The house is exactly as described. Great location on the water with private path to the Flensburg Fjord. Beautiful hiking trail in front of the front door that leads along the water. In the house are all utensils for a nice stay. We really enjoyed the long weekend!

We stayed here for six days and it was everything we hoped for and more. The house was exactly as described, but what made it special was the peace that came with it. Looking out into the garden each morning, with nothing but quiet around us, gave us a calm we didn’t know we needed. The place was spotless, and the sauna became our favorite way to end the day, warm, relaxing, and just what you want after exploring the island. What really stood out though was our host. When our car broke down, she went above and beyond to help us with advice and answered every message so quickly. It meant a lot to feel that kind of care. This wasn’t just a place to stay it felt like a true escape. We left feeling rested, grateful, and already dreaming about coming back.

It was all really great! The only thing we can note is the reverberation, but this is made up for by the rest of the great apartment.

My days at Ingke were wonderful! I was very warmly welcomed and got to know Ingke as a totally relaxed and helpful hostess. The apartment is very cozy and stylishly furnished and wonderfully equipped. The residential area is quiet and everything around is green - wonderful!

An all-around great apartment! Everything was very clean and well maintained – we felt comfortable immediately. The check-in was well described and went smoothly. The furnishings are complete and well thought out: a well-equipped kitchen, cozy beds, plenty of towels - nothing was missing. The location is pleasantly quiet with a beautiful view of the garden, and the beach is just a few minutes' walk away. I would especially like to highlight Detlef as a host – he was always very helpful with questions and concerns. A small note: The washer-dryer in the kitchen is quite audible during operation. However, this did not diminish our very positive overall impression. Clear recommendation – we will be happy to come back!

We felt very comfortable with Gesine. The apartment is comfortably furnished and excellently equipped. There are many great things for babies and children (crib, bed rail, high chair, toys for indoors & outdoors, etc.). Dogs are also taken care of. The location close to the beach, beach bar and harbor is great. The dog beach is also very easy to reach on foot. We'll be back!

My best Airbnb experience so far! The apartment is really nicely designed and was super clean, bed linen and towels available and also fresh. The location is very quiet, but all shops and bakeries are within walking distance. We had the garden all to ourselves, it is safely fenced and super nice to relax and grill. I have a dog that is afraid and she was also able to feel safe and comfortable in the apartment. When we arrived, there were even a few chilled drinks and snacks ready, as well as a few small things and toys for the dog. Bente was always quickly reachable and very nice and helpful. We felt very comfortable and are grateful that we were able to spend such a nice time there. We would definitely come back!

Charlotte has been a very nice hostess, a cheerful person who you can ask for advice at any time. Your dog and mine got along almost immediately :) I can really recommend the house to anyone who wants to switch off. We would be happy to come back. Best regards, David and Inka

It was wonderful! Even if music was running longer in the evening, that was no problem at all. Simply beautiful. It was also asked if it was okay for us that the dogs are in the garden. You could definitely have said no.

We were expecting a spacious house in the 60s/70s style with an equally large property. All rooms and the garden are really huge, this one is also really beautiful. The house is right on the west coast clinic, walking distance to beautiful downtown. We didn't lack anything in terms of amenities. We felt like we were immersed in a strange family life and treated everything with respect.

We have enjoyed the house and surroundings very much. The house is wonderfully spacious and bright with a nice garden. The area is green and quiet, city and beach are also easy to reach. Absolutely recommended!

There were eight of us there and everyone had enough space, a great room and the garden is perfect for the kids! Lots of great play options! The house looks exactly like the pictures. We felt comfortable right from the start. The hosts are super nice and happy to help. We will be happy to come back!😊

We had the most wonderful Ascension weekend at Vestergaard with Kirsten as host. It all went super easy. The house is very charmingly renovated and with many good rooms, where you can easily sleep many. The kitchen is well equipped and everything works as it should. Vestergaard is also very conveniently located if you have a car/bicycle with you. You are located in the middle of the island, so all edges of Ærø can be reached with short distance. Huge recommendation from here.

We stayed with our two little sons in Lasse's house and felt very comfortable. Especially the large garden was great for our boys. Overall, the house was very clean and everything was as described. We highly recommend the place and the surrounding area. Thank you!

“It really is a castle!” was the response of the travel companions. And that's for sure! Beautiful location, clean, lovely sturdy beds and very spacious (bath) rooms. Plenty of space to sit, play games or get a breath of fresh air outside. The kitchen is equipped with a wide range of crockery so that not every person can use a piece. What I personally liked is that each room has the option to open 1 or more windows. This keeps it wonderfully fresh on slightly warmer days. In the villages nearby, there is a supermarket and a number of restaurants. Enough offer to pick up your belongings on the spot. Check-in can be done digitally at your own time. Wonderful.
