It’s the most magical time of year and there’s no better place to spend the holidays than Santa Claus’ Post Office. Every year, we receive over 30,000 letters daily from children and adults around the world sharing their Christmas wishlists. It’s no secret that it’s the busiest time of year for us elves, so I’m inviting you to roll up your sleeves and lend a helping hand reading these heartwarming letters at the Post Office and experience the joy of the holiday season from the Arctic Circle.
The space
You will stay in Santa Claus’ Cabin, just a hop, skip and a jump away from the Santa Claus Main Post Office. A room in the cabin has been magically transformed, giving it a Yuletide makeover complete with traditional Lapland decorations, a wardrobe of elf-wear and all the accessories you could ever expect from a cosy elven bolthole in the depths of the Arctic.
Guests will be given a crash course in ‘elfing’ from yours truly, and will work with my team of elves to help sort through the letters from children all around the world - cross referencing with Santa Claus’ naughty and nice list. Guests will also participate in all kinds of tasks; emptying mailboxes and help the elves in stamping the post with the special Arctic Circle postmark before it goes to Santa Claus and learn about the day-to-day workings of the Post Office. After tending to their elf duties, guests will be treated to traditional Finnish meals, a snowmobile activity, a trip to see the northern lights and - the most Finnish experience of all - a traditional sauna.
The exclusive stay in Finland will be available for 3 nights (1 night staying in Santa Claus’ Cabin and 2 other nights in another beautiful Airbnb listing nearby) from 18-21 December 2023. Guests can request to book this stay on Monday December 11 at 12pm EET.
Other things to note
Once you arrive and check-in at Santa Claus’ Cabin, our on-site elf helper will ensure a comfortable stay for you and your guests – including showing you around and arranging meals.
Guests will receive complimentary return flights to Rovaniemi from London Heathrow Airport via Finnair - thanks to Visit Finland. The stay is suitable for up to two adults (18+) and two children (aged 5-11), and will be free of charge, with breakfast and dinner included.
Booking Rules:
- In order to request to book this stay, guests must have an active Airbnb profile, agreement to the Airbnb Terms of Service and acknowledgement of the Airbnb Privacy Policy, with a good track record on the platform.
- The fellow travelling party members must be at least 5+ years of age.
- Guests must be able to provide a government-issued ID.
- Guests must enter a complete message when submitting the request to book, letting the Host know, among other things, who will be joining them.
- Guests acknowledge Airbnb may conduct a review of public records.
- Airbnb and the Host reserve the right to reject a request to book if, in either’s discretion, it is believed the stay may have an adverse effect on Airbnb and/or the Host's business or reputation.
This three-night stay is not a competition. Complimentary return flights with Finnair courtesy of Visit Finland will be available for the guests from London Heathrow airport only. Those who are not based in the UK will be responsible for their own travel to London Heathrow airport or Rovaneimi in Finland.
