It is only a 10-20min drive from the only airport on the islands, shops and cafes as well as some of the most astounding Faroese sceneries such as Drangarnir, Tindhólmur and the lake Sørvágsvatn/Leitisvatn. We promise a truly magical and secluded place, with sights of sheep, birds and highland cows - all nestled by the river that leads down to the waterfall.

"Petursborg" luxury in Vágur

Luxury Villa Peter Dahl built "Petursborg" (Peter's Castle) in 1907 when he was the mayor of Vágur. Peter was a visionary man with a pioneer spirit. Among many projects he established the local bank, built the road through the village and was also deeply involved in the first hydro electric plant in the Faroe Island, located in Vágur. The entire house was renovated from 2022 to 2024 and is today a beautiful old style house with a modern touch.

Naturoplevelserne er lige udenfor døren. Gåture i fjeldet, fiskeri, havbad, fugle, blomster, tang, foto, maleri, ro men også venlige mennesker. Retreat eller aktivitet, velegnet til begge dele. We renovated this old boathouse recently. There is a rowingboat available as well. It is the family’s boat. The house offers you a peacefull sanctuary to collect your thoughts. 5 minutes walking distance to groceryshopping. Bus stop to the rest of the island is oposite the house as well.
