An amazing cabin, the best in the area. Wonderful views over the lookout, and the staff were so helpful bringing my bags down and making sure I had everything. You can even get room service to the cabin so if you want to lock yourself away, like I did, there’s really no need to leave! I hadn’t realised this was part of a larger chain of cabins/ hostel and restaurant, but that was a nice surprise because it really did add to the experience and made things much easier for me. Would recommend to anyone. Stay here.

Muy bonita la ubicación y servicio de parte de los muchachos a cargo del rancho. La cabaña limpia y en buenas condiciones. Nos prestaron una cocina para preparar alimentos y la experiencia de temazcal muy agradable

Cabin La Vía Láctea is located less than 10 minutes from San Jose & access to the cabin was very easy from the road down a short path with a few steps. The neighbouring cabins were well placed below cabin La Via Láctea which gave a nice feeling of privacy. Check-in was flawless per the instructions. The kitchen had most everything needed to cook meals. Wifi was easy to connect & good. The only drawback was that we couldn't access hot water in the morning for a shower...the pilot was not lit & we couldn't light it. We were checking out early so we had no time to get help. It really didn't ruin our 1 night stay & I am certain that if we had the time to notify Areli it would have been remedied quickly. The fireplace was stocked with enough wood for the night & really kept the cabin toasty along with the warm blankets on the comfy beds. I forgot my charger & let Areli know; she had it waiting for me in San Jose. I highly recommend & will be booking there again! Gracias Areli❣

We stayed here for the holidays and it was perfect! It was close to everything, we did have a vehicle which made it convenient. One thing to note is that the cabin does have a steep hill from the parking lot but I we didn’t mind !! And would totally stay here again. On our last night we had the most beautiful sunset which you can appreciate from your patio. I can go on and on about this place and Aniceto was super helpful !! Recommended us great places, and was always available to answer any questions we had. 10/10 recommend! The restaurant that is in the hotel is also amazing!!!!!

Great lil cabin out in the woods, perfect lil spot to get away from it all and unwind. I only had the pleasure of meeting Fabian and Adria from the host group, but they have such a great energy and make you feel welcome from the moment you meet them. The cabin itself is small and simple with a bed, fireplace and a kettle but you honestly don’t need much more here. There’s a communal kitchen to cook meals which was more than I needed during my stay. Definitely would recommend this cabin for an individual or a couple looking to get away for a bit!

Excelente cabaña con lo indispensable para estar en comodidad. El bosque es tu vecino y los cenzontles tu despertador.

El lugar es tal cual se ve en las fotos, estaba muy lindo y acogedor, sin duda volvería a hospedarme en la cabaña.

Highly recommend! Easy walking distance from San Jose town, less than 10 minutes. Could walk with a backpack but there are plenty of taxis to take you the short distance up the road for only 20 pesos. Hosts extremely helpful and communicative. BRING ENOUGH CASH WITH YOU FOR THE ENTIRETY OF YOUR STAY! Nowhere in town really accepts card and there are no banks or ATMS so without cash you will be very stuck. We made this mistake but our hosts at Casa Elba were extremely helpful in solving the problem for us and liaising with local business who could help. Breakfast is provided daily and is filling and delicious. Room itself absolutely perfect, very cosy, private and with beautiful views.

We stayed here for two nights in San Jose del Pacifico and loved it - what a serene home after the city life in Oaxaca. The home is gorgeous and new, and your view of nature each day is delightful. The bed was crazy comfortable and we slept better here than we did during our entire 3 week trip in Mexico. Great place! Just be sure to have a good car - the last part of the road is a bit rough.

Excelente lugar, la cabaña muy limpia y bonita, igual q el las fotos. Se respira la naturaleza. Paisajes hermosos. Súper bien q incluya el desayuno. Lo único para tomar en cuenta es que la ubicación de airbnb te lleva al pueblo, podrían especificar q lleguen al restaurante y ahí está la cabaña.

Excelente lugar, cómodo agradable, creo que las fotos que se encuentran en la publicación, en personas es mucho mejor. El lugar está de maravilla, nos las pasamos muy bien con mi familia. Un poco confuso el estacionamiento, pero con la buena comunicación, todo se soluciono.
