I had an absolutely fantastic experience during my stay! The flat was fully equipped with all the essentials and was in impeccable condition. Rebekah is a great host, made everything effortless; she was incredibly helpful and always quick to respond whenever I had a question. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone seeking a stay in the area. You won't be disappointed.

Great communication with the owner. Had an excellent stay with my family for a couple of nights. Indoor pool was enjoyed by all. Ideal location with Brighton only 10 minutes away.

We had a great long weekend stay here to celebrate a special birthday. The weather was good so the grandchildren made full use of the pool, huge garden and tennis court - as did some of the adults. House was very clean and well equipped. Very peaceful and secluded setting - everyone said they would love to come back again.

We enjoyed a 3 day mini break at the Calf Shed cottage with our 2 children and dog. The cottage itself was nice with open plan kitchen and comfy seating area, and a private garden area which was great for the kids and dog. A big bonus was the heated pool with stunning views. The weather was not great but the heated pool meant we could still use it, which is a short walk from the cottage. The kids also enjoyed the trampoline and table tennis. The main barn was not rented during our stay which meant we had sole use of the pool and play equipment. There was no welcome pack/booklet however the host Alison was quick to respond to questions (wifi password, bin locations, etc). Other comments is the double bed was actually 2 single beds which the kids commandeered and signs of wear and tear here and there. However overall a pleasant trip.

The barn was beautiful, we had such a lovely stay. The decor was stunning and there was lots of special touches that made our stay more comfortable. Michelle was very good at communicating with us and the main owner of the barn met us on out first day and gave us lots of useful information regarding the barn the sites and walks around the area. We would definitely love to come back in the future.

A really unique place in lovely grounds. As a family with young children the facilities made the stay for us. The Wing itself is nice full of character in terms of the architecture and decor. The place was clean, comfortable beds, kitchen had the essentials. Only thing I’d say is the bathroom and kitchen could do with a simple modernisation but really nothing to worry about, everything worked fine. The family say they would return so that’s the ultimate verdict.

This is an accurately described, beautiful home in idyllic countryside. The house is spacious and very stylishly furnished with vintage furniture and artwork. Ideally there would be one or two more bathrooms with showers - we knew this before staying of course - it just means more planning of showering with a larger group of people staying. We especially loved relaxing in the garden room with the gorgeous views of the garden and rolling hills beyond. We were incredibly lucky with the weather so definitely made the most of having a pool and pizza oven and BBQ. And we picked fresh figs off the tree by the pool, delicious! The kids loved the trampoline and table tennis. Enzo was great and prompt at communicating with us. We appreciated the local recommendations - we enjoyed lunch at the Jolly Sportsman, coffee at Cafe du Jardin and a mooch around all the antiques shops in Lewes. A very comfortable house to enjoy with three generations of our family.

When I booked I did not realise it was Pride weekend. Great vibe in Brighton, but was relieved to be slightly outside the hustle and bustle. The apartment worked well for us. We love to play tennis and utilised the public tennis court across the road. The busses into Brighton is frequent and 24 hours. A freshly baked vegan banana bread with butter and almond milk was waiting for us on Check in and a lovely red wine. Communicating with Susan was so easy - answered within minutes. Will stay here again.

We had an amazing stay for my Husband’s birthday and the property did not disappoint! It was so beautifully decorated and very clean. Laura was also a fantastic host and answered all questions immediately. Thank you so much for giving us such a great weekend and for the extra surprise gift for my husband. We had the best time and will definitely be back soon.

Lovely stay in the flat - place was clean and tidy and felt right at home. Buses are within a 5 min walk so getting into Brighton town centre/beach by public transport was easy. 10/10 would stay here again

Beautiful, spotless, comfortable house, host has literally thought of everything, beds were so comfortable, gorgeous garden, some much appreciated treats left for us to enjoy so very thoughtful. Jill is so thoughtful and helpful would very highly recommemd and definately want to go back to this perfect house in a beautiful location near the sea.

Great place to stay for our group holiday, house was tidy and Mark was response when asking questions. Location is a short walk to the seafront. Parking was easy and bedrooms were decent size.

We had a wonderful stay and so enjoyed this beautiful home and the vistas of the sea. It was a great location for both visiting Brighton and Glyndebourne (for the music lovers out there). The space is really a nice layout allowing for fun entertaining with friends while also having very private and quiet for sleeping. You can’t beat the location for nature walks. Highly recommend.

The property was lovely in a really quiet location close to Brighton. Very clean and comfortable. Was great to stay here and I would recommend. The host was a bit slow to respond at times but no issue. It made us feel a little uneasy after seeing signs within the house stating that there were noise monitors, as we had a 2 year old with us we felt like we had to tell everybody to be quiet and we weren't sure how loud we could be.

After the nightmare of our other Airbnb in Brighton that we booked, James was like a knight in shining armour. He really helped us out of a tight squeeze by providing his property to us with only an hours notice. When we arrived at the house there was a bottle of Prosecco in the fridge, along with fresh fruit and flowers. The property was spotless and only a 20 min walk from the pier. His communication was fantastic and I can see why he has been rated so highly. I cannot rate him or his property highly enough and would definately stay there again on my next visit to Brighton. We loved the house, we enjoyed a wonderful cliff top walk. The beds were comfortable. We expected a futon in the third bedroom as the listing says but it’s now a proper sized bed. We enjoyed a visit from a fox! Well stocked kitchen with all equipment.

Excellent very clean accomodation. Good central location.

Easy to find and as described, great base for a catch up with a pal and walkable to sea front. We didn’t have a car and we didn’t need one.

It was a dream come true to have me and my wife, our three grown children and husbands, and our grandchildren all together on a grand adventure holiday. The town is lovely and I’m sure the chap at the local coffee shop will miss us. The home was perfect size with ample space for all of us to gather and eat and play and sleep. Would stay again!

Logement très propre et fonctionnel dans un quartier calme. Pru était présente à notre arrivée et a pris le temps de nous faire le tour du logement. Dans les détails: - La cuisine est particulièrement bien équipée pour un airbnb. - La literie était confortable. - La salle de bain est petite mais très fonctionnelle. - Nous n’avons pas utilisé les extérieurs. Le point négatif du logement est la difficulté à stationner dans la rue. Mais au final avec un peu de marche, on y arrive. Le secteur est idéal pour visiter la côte, à mi-chemin entre Brighton et Eastbourne. Les célèbres falaises des Seven Sisters et de Heavy Beach sont à 20mn et méritent le détour. Si je devais revenir dans le secteur, je pourrai réserver à nouveau le logement!

This little cottage is a hidden gem. It is so comfy and cosy and so very stylish. We would happily move in! The beds were super comfy, and the host had thought of everything you could possibly need to make the stay easy and feel like a home from home. Highly recommend you stay here.

The property was well located for 3 sets of guests. Good, clear instructions to find it. Lovely setting - very quiet and in open countryside. Accommodation was as described. We appreciated the en suite facilities in all bedrooms. The kitchen/sitting area worked well for us and there was plenty of space. We would definitely revisit this lovely property.
