Quintessential French Country We could not recommend a place more! We absolutely loved our stay at Celine's listing, which was perfect after a few very busy days in Paris sightseeing. We enjoyed the slower pace, the beautiful pool, the private BQ seating area, and the indoor space was perfectly decorated and suited our needs well. We're in France 12 days, and this was by far, the best leg of our journey. Be sure to take Celine's restaurant recommendation - it was the icing on the cake. And Celine was the best hostess we have ever met! Charming, in every way.

Modern and cozy house. After a day away, we were happy to come home. Just sit in the patio for a while. Beautiful bike rides nearby. Rochelle nearby is a very beautiful city. Beautiful beaches at Chatelallion-plage. Visited islands. Have a nice holiday!

Very well located, the central courtyard is nice, well decorated, very beautiful... For a weekend with friends, the toilets overlooking the kitchen lack privacy...

We were 4 adults and 3 teenagers and this place was perfect. Plenty of space and bathrooms for our needs. The garden would be perfect for smaller children as it’s enclosed. The house is really handy for La Rochelle - regular buses, a short drive or a 25 minute bike ride to the centre. A quiet neighbourhood with a bakery, butchers, small supermarket etc. And a very friendly local bar (Au Coin de la Rue). Would highly recommend a stay here. The host is super helpful and responsive.

We are used to using rental sites on a regular basis. This accommodation is by far the cleanest (impeccable cleanliness) that we have rented. Everything is well thought out, functional, the bedding, the bed linen, the decor are of beautiful quality. Our hosts are charming, available, responsive, in short everything is perfect. The accommodation is located in a recent subdivision, it is adjacent to the owners' house, but they are very respectful of each other's spaces. We highly recommend Marie's accommodation, and will happily return!

Top hosts! It felt like we were at our grandparents' house... The cottage is great, clean, quiet and Jacques and Annick are adorable. I recommend it.

Christelle's place was excellent for our family of 4: clean, comfortable and very accessible to the center of town. Christelle personally welcomed us into the unit, and provided several helpful recommendations. We enjoyed the balcony for an afternoon "apéro" and coffee in the living room which faces a quiet courtyard. Our only regret is that we didn’t stay longer. La Rochelle is a gem!

Damien welcomed us very well and was accommodating for the time of arrival and departure. The apartment is very well located for walking, very clean, well equipped for cooking and nicely decorated. I recommend it!

We couldn't have dreamed of a better place for a romantic weekend in La Rochelle. Everything was there: the decor, the layout, the comfort, the cleanliness and the proximity to the city center. We highly recommend this place and will come back for sure!

The apartment is great overall for family of 4. 1 large, but shared bathroom. No separate WC. Some age on the furnishings. Well laid out and had all housewares needed. Decor is curated. Excellent location. Friendly and accommodating host. (AC would have made this an even better stay. )

Well what a fantastic few days we had. I can’t stress what a fabulous house this is. It has everything we needed. Little garden and off road parking. It was spotless. Stéphane gave us a bottle of his home made apple juice. Absolutely delicious. Buses were very handy and very inexpensive. I can’t praise Stéphane or his house enough. A little gem of a find

We had a great stay at Teddy's place. The apartment was spacious, equipped and nicely decorated. Close to all amenities. Teddy is very friendly, and gave us recommendations on the activities available in La Rochelle and its surroundings! The jacuzzi and terrace are a real plus!! I recommend it 100%. We'll be back!

Beautiful sea view from the balcony. Small confusion about the cleaning we are asked to do, while being charged on AirBnB.

Very pleasant stay in Sylvie's apartment, ideal location close to the old port, aquarium and many restaurants, the apartment is large and very clean, the parking is a big asset we were able to enjoy La Rochelle on foot, the Hotel for the delivery of the keys is perfect, and Sylvie is very considerate, call before arrival, advice, etc. A safe bet in La Rochelle.
