Magical time in a tastefully renovated place We had a fantastic stay at this charming property. Everything was stylish and thoughtfully designed to ensure our beach holiday in mid-June. The setup—with a main house and one separate building—worked perfectly for us, offering both shared and private spaces, like having our very own square. The location is unbeatable: nestled in the peaceful village of La Biroire, with a few minute stroll to the sea and a brief ride by car (or bicycle to Saint-Pierre. The perfect base for exploring the island! The main house is bright and welcoming, with a well-equipped kitchen, a lovely open living area, and a cozy bedroom with an en-suite bathroom. The chalet across the courtyard would be ideal for extra guests, with 2 comfortable bedrooms, a small living area, plus another bathroom. There's no trouble finding a spot on the street for your car.

A great stay at this wonderful little house. The daily market right alongside, the playground, the compost bins in the park outside, the peaceful garden. A great holiday house, I hope we will be back!

We had an exceptional stay in this beautiful house on the island of Oléron. The place is even more beautiful than in the photos: the house is perfectly equipped, tastefully decorated and very comfortable. The environment is quiet, green and ideal to unwind. The location is perfect for exploring the island easily. A huge thank you to our host, who was welcoming, available and attentive throughout the stay. We'll be happy to go back!

Very nice rental in a very quiet area of St Pierre d 'Oléron and very close to Cotinière. Anything can be done by bicycle. There's nothing missing from this house that turned out to be very fresh ,appreciable with 33 outside. Catherine is very available ,concerned about your comfort and attentive even if she can't be there when you arrive. We recommend it ++++++

Very pleasant house in a good location. The accommodation is well-equipped, both inside and outside (garden furniture, barbecue, covered terrace...). Its location, very central for visiting the island and close to shops, in a quiet neighborhood. We had a great time.

Excellent stay in the accommodation offered by Jean-François and Ghislaine. The location is ideal, in a quiet and charming area. It's both easy and enjoyable to get around on foot or by bike. The newly renovated accommodation is tastefully decorated, it is very functional (has cooking basics: various utensils, stovetop, oven, toaster, kettle etc.). There is a washing machine and a hanging rack, which is very convenient. There is also a very nice terrace on which we enjoyed having our lunches (and aperitifs). Special mention for Jean-Francois, our host, who was very friendly, and who took the time to advise us on the various activities/walks to do on the island. In short, I'd recommend this place unseen!

We had an unforgettable stay at Émilie and Yann's! From the time of booking until our departure, Émilie was very attentive to us: very clear instructions, flexibility, warm welcome with tour of the premises and very available throughout our stay. The house is superb: fully renovated and tastefully decorated, each object carefully chosen to enhance the charm of this beautiful family home! The garden is a real plus and our 2 little dachshunds enjoyed it! Everything was impeccable, it's rare enough to be highlighted! We will return very soon to Emilie and Yann's where we are sure to have a great stay!

Christelle's place was excellent for our family of 4: clean, comfortable and very accessible to the center of town. Christelle personally welcomed us into the unit, and provided several helpful recommendations. We enjoyed the balcony for an afternoon "apéro" and coffee in the living room which faces a quiet courtyard. Our only regret is that we didn’t stay longer. La Rochelle is a gem!

The apartment is great overall for family of 4. 1 large, but shared bathroom. No separate WC. Some age on the furnishings. Well laid out and had all housewares needed. Decor is curated. Excellent location. Friendly and accommodating host. (AC would have made this an even better stay. )

Well what a fantastic few days we had. I can’t stress what a fabulous house this is. It has everything we needed. Little garden and off road parking. It was spotless. Stéphane gave us a bottle of his home made apple juice. Absolutely delicious. Buses were very handy and very inexpensive. I can’t praise Stéphane or his house enough. A little gem of a find

Very pleasant stay in a quiet area but close to beaches and the Port de la Cotinière. Small but functional and very well arranged accommodation; small terrace with enough space to dine or have breakfast. But above all a very warm welcome from our host Muriel, discreet and smiling, we wish we had more time to get to know each other. But 5 days it goes by quickly and we went, with our 7-year-old grandson, to discover the charms of this wild and beautiful island and the activities it offered us. I have to say this is one of my favourite places on AirBnB. It’s actually nicer than the photos!! And the most comfortable bed! I loved that a little shopping trolley was even provided for my trips to the boulangerie and marche! Christian was on hand to help with checking in and out. Great location! Very pleasant stay in Sylvie's apartment, ideal location close to the old port, aquarium and many restaurants, the apartment is large and very clean, the parking is a big asset we were able to enjoy La Rochelle on foot, the Hotel for the delivery of the keys is perfect, and Sylvie is very considerate, call before arrival, advice, etc. A safe bet in La Rochelle. Apartment in a very good location. The layout and decor are great. Everything is done to make you feel good. It was very clean and very well equipped. Magnificent view of the estuary with a balcony for aperitifs and meals outside. Excellent place and if we have to rent again in Royan we will go back.
