House holiday rentals in Saint-Paul-le-Jeune

Due to personal circumstances we had to rearrange this holiday 2 times, of which Remy was very understanding. We booked the villa based on how well the photos looked but were really not ready for just how much better the place was in reality! Le Magnanerie is tucked quietly away in a totally idyllic spot in a gorgeous old French hamlet, boasting the most impressive westerly views across the private pool of the Cévennes, with stunning sunsets. The covered outside area is spacious and perfect to escape the direct summer sun, and the thick stone building is naturally cool. Comfortably set over 3 pretty floors with portable air conditioning in the loft bedroom area. Kids bunk beds are perfectly placed and even though everything is wooden, nothing creaks. Local agent Deborah was very helpful and after driving from the UK, we were pleasantly surprised to have had our best family holiday to date here! We rarely return to holiday destinations, however we will certainly be coming back. Merci

A stay on the edge of perfection. Beautiful house, very pleasant, faithful to its description and allowing relaxation, relaxation and rest. In addition, the owner knows how to be present with responsiveness when needed, and to be more discreet. Which, for me, is both valuable and reassuring. I highly recommend it.

Idyllic stay! The house is simple, pretty and functional. The garden is sublime and beautifully maintained. The view is breathtaking! We spent 4 wonderful days resting quietly, reading and bathing in the peaceful pool. We didn't want to leave! Note that the location is wild, so far from everything, you have to plan 30 minutes by car to access the shops. But it's really worth it! Thank you for the enchanted parenthesis!

We had an exceptional and rejuvenating stay! The cottage is very well equipped and so pleasant. We enjoyed the pool and the terrace, where the view is breathtaking. Very large and pleasant house for large groups. Everything comes together for a good time. Too bad there was only one fridge out of the two that worked.

We were in this accommodation with a group of three families and immediately felt like we were on vacation. The house is beautifully located and stylishly furnished. The pool is wonderful and offers a lot of fun for young and old. The additional amenities and the ample space in the house leave nothing to be desired. We are very happy to have found this house and can very well imagine being a guest here again. A heartfelt thank you to the hosts!

Every morning, waking up to this magnificent panorama was pure joy🌄. The calm, the nature, the pure air... you feel completely refreshed. The cottage is perfectly equipped, tastefully decorated, and you can feel that everything has been thought of for the well-being of travelers🙏. We just spent 15 days and the good weather was at the rendezvous, for those looking for calm and tranquility is the ideal place! Christine and Philippe are welcoming, warm, available and concerned for the well-being of their guests. They were good tips for sites to visit, both in the Gard and in the Ardèche which is barely 10 km away Many places to visit including the Pont du Gard, the Pont d 'Arc and the Ardèche gorges by canoe, the Aven Orgnac cave, the Sautadet waterfalls, the Nîmes bullring....) The house is well equipped and local shops are in Barjac 3km away We had a great time!

This place is beautiful and is set in a splendid setting. It's total calm. There are very nice hikes to do in the area. We came at a time when it wasn't very hot with a lot of rain. The heating system is a small slow-burning wood burning stove that we had to provide with wood throughout our stay in order to warm up the space and chase humidity. But this stay was a unique experience.

Beautifully restored, lovingly maintained stone house in the middle of nature. Very practical and very tasteful furnishings: Perfectly equipped kitchen, mosquito nets over the beds, beautiful terrace and small garden...The house is located in a beautiful landscape with wooded hills, small hamlets, many streams and small rivers. Very friendly and accommodating hosts. An idyllic, very quiet place to leave everyday life far behind and gaze at the stars at night.

The Mini Casa is probably the most beautiful accommodation we have ever stayed in! We felt at home right from the start and were able to check in a little earlier, which was very convenient for us. Célia is an attentive hostess and put local products on the table to welcome us. She had sent us helpful tips for the region in advance. Our highlight was the sofa on the top floor with a great view. The accommodation is excellently equipped and very stylishly furnished. It is located in a small village, which we liked. Many excursion destinations can be reached within 30 minutes by car. We would love to come back!

Five stars all around. Communication with Florence was excellent. We asked for a better Weber grill and a brand new one was provided immediately. House is full of character, village is charming. Bakery in the center of town has closed, but there is another bakery further down the road. Small grocery store in the center of town. Second floor (third floor North American) bedrooms could be an issue for those with mobility issues as the stone staircases are steep with only a rope to hang onto. Pulling out onto the road from the property requires assistance to make sure the way is clear. All in all, we would return in a heart beat.

The property is lovely and the hosts were very welcoming and respectful and helpful with suggestions. Our only critique would be that the pool whilst lovely is not private and shared with the hosts who admittedly did not use it whilst we were there and if you like me love to cook the oven was portable and a slight challenge to use. The village and walks were incredible and the location near to Uzes, Nimes and Avignon makes for a lovely stay. A big thank you to Pascal and Catherine x

If you love peace, nature and freedom, this place is fantastic. A beautiful, diverse environment with many hiking trails right next door, but also further away. We explored the region by car and took several walks with the dog. But coming back was always a party, and then we received a warm welcome from Wallace, in a nice, well-kept and tasteful cottage with everything on and off. Admired the starry night from the deck chair and the last night a thunderstorm spectacle as the icing on the cake. Haryhanta provided the delicious and fresh eggs in time and she was there if we needed anything. We highly recommend it and we would love to discover more in the Cévennes at Harryhanta.

We had two wonderful weeks in Catherine's cottage! We enjoyed the tranquility, simplicity, wild nature, clean air and challenging walks. The swimming pool was wonderfully fresh and an experience! Catherine and her family received us very warmly. Bruno gave us homemade goat cheese. Actually, we prefer to keep this beautiful place a secret :)

We had a wonderful stay in the village of Naves, the location of the house is ideal. This village is a haven of peace, you would like to settle there...! This pretty house, very atypical, is carefully decorated and very well equipped. A huge thank you to Frédérique for hosting us and for her trust. For families, there are plenty of activities to do in the area with children: walks, swimming, cave visit, acrobranch.

Our stay was perfect from start to finish. The place is beautiful. The garden, pool, sauna, petanque court and house, everything is nice, clean and well thought out. The bedding is extremely comfortable. And Sandrine is so kind! Thank you again for this welcome and this great stay.
