House holiday rentals in Saint Margaret's at Cliffe

This is the second time we have stayed at Corrina’s holiday home and once again we found it to be squeaky clean, very well equipped, peaceful and a great location. The garden is home to a family of foxes, who were so confident, that they sunbathed on the lawn whilst we were sitting on the veranda. Corrina made us aware of check in details in very good time and left a number just in case we needed assistance, which I’m happy to say we didn’t need. The surrounding area is so lush and green, this time of year, and there is always plenty of interesting things to do nearby. We will visit again next year, but hopefully for longer this time. Thank you.

We had a lovely stay here, Nick was an excellent host, greeted us on arrival and very helpful with local info. Nick responded almost immediately to messages and had the pool ready for us to use as and when we requested. The kids had so much fun in the pool, the floats and toys left out to use were an added bonus! House was spotless and perfectly equipped. Would definitely Recommend and would happily return. prachtig zicht naar de kust en omgeving toe, vanuit de woonruimte, rustig, prachtige wandel en fietsomgeving, warm, aangenaam binnenzwembad voor alle leeftijden. we hebben daar een fantastische week gehad met kinderen en kleinkinderen

I stayed for my 30th birthday celebrations and had the best time ever. This place was perfect! the decor, the location, the surroundings and most importantly Karen and her husband was so friendly and lovely and ensured I had a special birthday. I’ve stayed at Airbnb’s before and I’ve never had a host as lovely as Karen was, the perfect host we could have wish for. The swimming pool was amazing and me and my family had a wonderful time enjoying it in the sun with a BBQ. The cottage was spotless and a welcome hamper was provided and every little detail was perfect. The garden area was beautiful through out the day and so peaceful and relaxing. I honestly can’t recommend this place enough, it was truly perfect and I will definitely be staying again and recommending to everyone I know! Thank you again for making it such a special birthday x

We were very impressed on arrival. Lovely peaceful grounds, pool bigger than we’d expected and great games area. Good place to stay with our extended family, good central location, really enjoyed nearby Canterbury. We were lucky with the weather. We visited Howletts zoo & 2 different sea-sides. The house is quite warm, it’s great fans are provided in all bedrooms. Improvements- Need better extraction for the kitchen- & update the book on what to do if the smoke alarm goes off! The agency were quick to help but with poor phone signal this was tricky to arrange. Bigger beds/ new mattresses Downstairs loo had no toilet lid Other reviews mentioned cobwebs & the place seeming a bit ‘tired’, I’d agree with some of that but it didn’t stop us having a wonderful time & a few cobwebs don’t bother me, everything else was clean and we’d love to return .

This was our second visit to the Lighthouse and it still is an amazing place, from the panoramic sea views to a lovely warm inviting home. A dip in the pool before breakfast, sitting with a coffee watching the seascape, as far as Essex and beyond, sunsets and so much more. I will make the same comment as I did last, this goes for the whole of our party across 3 generations and the dogs, the only bad thing about the Lighthouse is having to leave. Hopefully this will not be our last visit.

This is without doubt the most stunning place I have ever stayed in through Airbnb. The cottage has recently been renovated to an extremely high standard and every detail is perfect and has been carefully thought through. It is comfortable and luxurious but still homely and stocked with everything you need for a home from home stay! It is also in a fantastic location - only a 2 minute walk to the seafront and the town centre. I could not recommend it more highly. Belinda was also extremely helpful and welcoming and very responsive to messages. 11/10! We will definitely be back! thank you Belinda and Thierry.

Wir haben uns in Simons Unterkunft sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Lage und Ausstattung sind super - das Cottage wunderschön eingerichtet und ruhig. Auch der nahe gelegene Parkplatz ist super praktisch.

lovely detached house right on the seafront. The terrace has stunning sea views and great sunsets. The 5 bedrooms are all very nice and offer some flexibility with twins and doubles. We loved the seaside themed decor and nice touches like blankets. Nice host who gave very clear instructions. very clean and the kitchen was well stocked.

Stephen was there to hand us the keys and gave us a quick tour of the house. A lovely little house with everything needed for a break and three minutes walk from the town centre. We'd definitely stay again. Try the Crispin Inn pub if you stay - most superb!

Great location if heading over the channel which we were, lovely clean house and had everything you’d need for a comfortable stay would certainly stay again next time I’m heading to France!

The house is absolutely beautiful! Lovely decor and great art on the walls from which we took great pleasure admiring. We enjoyed sitting looking out at the garden with a glass of wine and the music room is just superb. Duran Duran on vinyl followed by some kraftwerk … what’s not to love! Can’t recommend it enough. We will definitely be back. Thanks guys!!

The House was perfect for a relaxing weekend of family time. The kitchen was exceptionally well stocked with all the equipment we needed for a large family that enjoys cooking, eating, and drinking well. We felt right at home and had a very special, relaxing and fun few days.

Superb location overlooking the sea and with many and varied eating places in the vicinity. Lovely to have two lounges overlooking the sea and a large farmhouse table in the well resourced kitchen. Some superb historic and cultural places to visit nearby including: Margate (40 mins by train) to see Turners’ Contemporary Art Museum and also Tracey Emin’s Art Studios; Canterbury Cathedral (40 mins by bus) to see the historic and spectacular first cathedral in Engkand and St Augustine’s Abbey in such a beautiful city; Dover (20 mins s by car) to see the Historic Castle, Tunnels and White Cliffs; Ramsgate (bus/car 15 min drive) to see a classic Victorian Seaside with an unusual Wetherspoons built into the Pavillion; Broadstairs (10 mins drive further) to see Charles Dickens houses which inspired him to write - including Bleak House; Deal itself with its Saturday afternoon outdoor market and a 15 minute walk to the very significant Walker Castle. An amazing week with plenty of varied sigh

Beautiful location. Very quiet and peaceful. Comfortable beds. Good for the dog, enclosed back garden. Parking on the street outside the house was easy. Close to Mermaid pub and Tadpole cafe/farmshop and bakery. Everything you need for a holiday in East Kent

Thank you Katie for another memorable stay at Coast Cottage. It's such a lovely space and the garden is paradise at the moment being literally a riot of colour. It's peaceful and the house is attractively furnished with a kitchen that has everything you're likely to need. Thank you too Katie for the delicious chocolate ginger biscuits. To my mind the only place to stay in Deal.

We had a lovely stay.. the house is exactly as pictured with no nasty surprises. Amazing sea view from the master bedroom, with double doors leading onto the balcony. Stef was a great host, very responsive and friendly. Thanks for a lovely stay!

We enjoyed 3 nights here and found it very clean, with a lovely garden and had everything you need plus the bonus of a secure off street parking space. Just a few minutes walk to a fabulous coastal path taking you into Deal with plenty going on. We had a fabulous meal in The Rose hotel which allows dogs and it is also worth a trip to the Zealand Arms for a lunch on the beach.

Absolutely amazing place to stay, the location was perfect (a little bit noisy if im going to add something negative) but didnt bother us as a group of girls on a trip away. We all loved the house and it was just beautiful. We would 100% come back again and stay. Thank you so much for letting us stay!

We’ve had a lovely stay exactly for what we needed. The house was nice and clean and had everything you might need all the way from teas and coffees to various spices. We did come with dogs however, and I just wish the listing itself stated that dogs aren’t allowed on beds (before booking). Our dogs sleep on the bed with us every day, so it was pretty much impossible to keep them off especially at night. I think it would be useful to let people know in the listing is all :) otherwise the place is great!
