Holiday rentals with beach access in Saint-Denis-d'Oléron

We spent a very enjoyable week in Valerie's apartment. She and her husband welcomed us at the door even though our flight was delayed. A gift of brioche , orange juice and a locally produced aperitif was a nice touch. The apartment is spotlessly clean and has everything one could possibly need. it was really quiet in spite of being on the Quai which is a hive of activity. She replied to any communication within minutes. Highly recommended.

A very nice apartment with a view of the harbor entrance - located between the Ketten and Laternenturm. The accommodation is located in a beautiful old house made of white limestone. The apartment was well ventilated by many skylights and the slopes make the apartment very charming. There are a variety of restaurants in the immediate vicinity, a beach is 5 minutes away and the city center of La Rochelle is also a few minutes away. We arrived by train and did a lot on foot or by rental bike. The accommodation is also within walking distance of the train station.

Great Host, large and bright apartment with a very nice decor and many facilities. View from the window of the pretty building of the Marché des Marennes with its Baltard-style architecture and the three restaurants less than a minute away. 10 min by bike to the beach (thanks for the bike:)). The large car park at Place Carnot is 100m away. Special mention for the layout of the apartment (there must be about twenty light points and sockets and the kitchen is used with much more than the essentials). Thank you for everything, we'll be back with pleasure.

Martine's cozy attached cottage is a perfect place to stay in St. Georges. The apartment is great for two people and Martine has supplied just about any convenience you can think of. The bed was very comfortable, parking was right in front, patios in front and in back. We loved the wall of jasmine in front. It is about a 15 minute walk to the beach (shorter if you have a bike - which many people do). Also, there is a couple great restaurants close by. Martine is lovely and was very flexible with our check in time. She always got back to us very quickly. I would highly recommend this cute little beach abode.

If you want to go to the island of Oléron, I recommend the property of Manue and Luc. Very responsive, friendly hosts. The superb property proposed by Manue and Luc ideally located and a relaxing calm corresponds in every way to the photos on the site. We loved the garden, the exposure, the property and all the services offered by it. We will be back with our dog, because yes, pets are allowed at Manue and Luc's. Really great..... We had a great holiday: from check-in to departure. Especially great for us were the bikes, so we could explore the area & make excursions. The house is well equipped in a quiet location (from time to time you have the nearby campsite but not really disturbing). Thank you & we can imagine coming back again! Best regards, Christian

the living room is larger than in the photos. Accommodation not far from the Chassiron lighthouse and the beach. Too bad there's no barbecue, even though we understand the reasons.

Celine’s house was lovely and extremely well located. The lovely restaurants of La Flotte and the local market were a short walk, and we loved biking around the island. The house itself is gorgeous. We will definitely return!

Beautiful accommodation ideally located in La Cotinière where you can walk to the main. Very well equipped and very well decorated with its beautiful terrace and courtyard to park the car. Laurent's restaurant tips were well appreciated and the place is great for discovering Oléron. A big congratulations to Sébastien and Laurent, we can only recommend this beautiful accommodation!

Corinne is such an amazing and responsive host, and her place was exactly what we needed. Would 100% recommend. A bit about the apartment: it looked exactly as described, comfortable and clean. Its location probably can’t be better since it was right by the pier of Saint-Martin, a very charming and calm village. Now, the real stars were the hosts. Corinne herself was very responsive and proactive and even though she wasn’t there at check-in, she arranged for a family member to not only be there and greet us, but also drive us from the La Rochelle train station to the island. She also called the bus company to confirm our bus time upon departure and was kind enough to allow a later check in so we had a place to leave our belongings while waiting for our train. Overall, amazing hosts. Thank you!

Ideally located, this accommodation is perfect for discovering the island of Ré and its beautiful landscapes by bike (rental right next door, friendly). The little extra is the sauna. Beautiful decoration, well-equipped. Good communication with the host who gives good advice. Parking right across.

Excellent stay in Arnaud's apartment. Very well received by Fadia. The location is perfect for going to La Rochelle in 10 minutes on foot by the sea.
