Holiday rentals in Saint David

A cottage on a farm near the sea is not the kind of accommodation you come across every day; so, since I still have a bit of adventure spirit in me, I decided to give it a try. Moreover, it was one of the most reasonable priced accommodation for the money. The novelty was there alright - a solar powered new cottage with harvested water. The cleaning staff, security and manager tried their best, and did a good job of helping to make my stay comfortable. The beach was not as desirable as I would have hoped so I tried other nearby beaches also. Continental breakfast was served with free soursop from the farm. Bottled drinking water were also provided. There was no restaurant and not a large variety of liquor was on hand, but whether it was eating out or food brought in or my own cooking with the island’s spices, the selection and taste were always awesome. The cottage was always cleaned, and fresh linen provided. I enjoyed long safe walks with the farm’s large pet dog or with guests . I am looking forward to giving it another whirl, next time.

Valley retreat is a lovely place to stay. It lives up to its name with peace and tranquility. The host was always there on hand to assist and made us feel at home. I would recommend Valley Retreat for families, couples and anyone who wants a quiet vacation to unwind and relax. Location is great and not too from the town and amenities. It was an excellent environment and the accommodation was top class. Want to visit Grenada and away from the busy streets of the capital (about six miles away), this is the ideal place. Excellent , thoughtful hosts make access to transportation easy. from the busy street of the Capital- that spot under Mt. Gozo

Awesome place. The views are spectacular. The hose was designed architecturally savvy. The cross breeze was enough without A/C, I never turned it on in my bedroom. The check in and check out was painless. We walked to the beach every other morning for sunrise or sunset. You can snorkel, kayak, eat at the local restaurant (get the fish soup) all at a beautiful beach with no crowd. Or taxi into town in about 15-20 min. The BBQ GRILL was clutch.

What a gem! Staying at Theresa’s place proved to be a truly wonderful introduction to Grenada. Right off the tourist track, surrounded by lush vegetation, it provided a safe retreat for me which was just what I was looking for. Theresa is a lovely, warm host - very respectful of one’s space but also very responsive if I needed anything. When I was ill she brought my cinnamon tea and paw paw which cured me! She was so generous with the fruits and vegetables that grew in her beautiful garden: guava, paw paw, mango, sweet little bananas, turmeric….to name a few! The facilities are simple - no luxuries here but the bed was very comfortable and once I got used to the night noises which are typical here, tree frogs, dogs barking, cockerels and reggae and soca playing, I slept well. Sadly, I didn’t get to hear the monkeys. I gather the previous guests had trouble with the fridge but Theresa sorted it immediately, getting a brand new fridge/freezer. Because of it’s remote location, you definitely need a car here and the roads take a little getting used to as you explore all the many beautiful places here. Another example of Theresa’s kindness: she took me to a beautiful beach called La Sagesse, only 10 min drive away. This place would particularly suit artists or people interested in plants. If you’re looking for a grand luxe beach holiday with every mod con, then this is not for you. But if you’re looking for an authentic Grenadian experience, this is it! I will definitely be coming back!

Wonderfully private villa with established gardens and ocean views. Lovely interior details and character with great outdoor spaces and swimming pool. Had ample room for two 4 person families with multiple bedrooms with balcony access to enjoy easterly breezes, views and abundant bird life. Open floor plan on first floor was great for our families to gather and enjoy each other’s company. The property manager was super responsive and helpful. Owner was also in regular contact to ensure guests were having a positive experience. Highly recommended.

The location was great for what we needed. Peaceful clean , everything work, nice breeze, nice views. The house is very roomy with a lot of space.
